The staff do NOT push you to buy anything, but instead go out of their way to assist you in your purchase, or simply answer your questions.On one of my brief visits to the store, Ariel, a very pleasant gentleman, who has been at the store for many years, and possesses a vast knowledge of timepieces, showed me many watches while I was browsing, answered all my questions and it was such a great experience, considering that we are in the Diamond District. Mind you, there are very very few stores like this one where the shopping experience is this good. Motion In Time takes great effort to put the customer experience ahead of anything else. It is also very easy to see that this is an honest place to do business.

I have only good things to say about my experience at Motion in Time. I came in see if a friends watch was real and ended up leaving my Dads 1505 in their care. Since my Dad died over 2 years ago I have never gone a day without wearing his watch but Boris made me feel comfortable so I left my watch by him for 2 weeks to be serviced and restored. I couldnt be happier with the results and service I received. The watch looks and feels brand new without touching its long and unique history. I had been watching ebay for a Hublot Big Bang and ran across one that Boris at Motions in Time had and it was a little unique so it really attracted my interest. Anyhow I made a (low) offer and of course Boris said no and I did this several times over the course of 2 months and finally I made an offer he accepted. Be careful here. I have tried to buy and they tell you one price, when you arrive to buy, they raise the price. Then I tried to sell them a new Rolex, and same thing. Told me one price and when I showed up with the new watch, they offered $300 less. Also heard they pass used watches as new. BE CAREFUL.
