I loved this hotel. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff was attentive and always available. The location is ideal if youre looking to stay in the downtime area. Not too much traffic so its a peaceful night. Only a few blocks away from the waterfront, World Trade Center Memorial and multiple cool bars/restaurants. Plus theres a Starbucks in the lobby.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when I came to visit for a week with my 3-year-old. The bellman, housekeeping, and front desk always wanted to know if there was anything they can do to make your stay any better, and always with a smile on their face.I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an extremely nice place to stay in lower manhattan, especially those with families.Great location, walking distance to everything, cabs always around the corner, and amazing staff!

Recently stayed at this hotel and, while I usually have next to no complaints, I will never use Marriott again. My good friend, who was there at the same time, had a horrendous (quite serious) experience, and they have just blown him off. All levels of management have dropped the ball and treated him like trash. Customer service is the lifeblood of any organization, and this Marriott location has zero concern for the well-being of its customers. Its a sad state of affairs at this location.

Great room vs price. Probably the best I had stayed in NY.Around 320 sq feet space with 2 full beds, nice desk to work, mini fridge, large bath, closet, super clean hotel/room, amazing and friendly staff. Great views.If you are looking for something away from the super touristy places this is it. Very calm at night, close to good restaurants, stores and subway stations a few blocks aways.Good restaurant on the first floor, but closes a bit early (9PM)

New favorite place to stay in NYC! Parking garage is directly across the street. World Trade Center memorial and museum is two blocks up and Battery Park with the Liberty cruise is a 10 minute walk the other direction. Close to the subway, our room had a perfect view of the Statue of Liberty, and I was reasonably priced. Hotel staff was polite, lobby restaurant was great and they had a good drink menu. Rooms were nice and clean, beds were comfortable.

My stay at the New York Marriott downtown was great! The hotel is in a very convenient location near multiple train and bus stations so it is easy to get to wherever you need and it is especially convenient to the 9/11 Memorial and museum. The building is well insulated and quiet at night which resulted in great rest. Staff was friendly and on point and rooms were clean and welcoming. Great job!

This hotel has amazing rooms and views that are the best I’ve seen in lower Manhattan, with a reasonable price for what you get. The rooms are put together beautifully and the bathroom was great to use! The only issue I had was with the service at the front desk. There was a problem with car payment that they messed up on which made us have a set back. Other than that, everything was amazing and the front desk people were still kind and handled the situation well. I would definitely go here again!

Great location if you are looking to stay in lower Manhattan / Financial District. The hotel is far enough away from WTD and the surrounding retail to not be surrounded by tourists, but still in close enough proximity to bars and restaurants that you don’t need a taxi to find places nearby. The rooms are spacious with fantastic views.

Would have been 5-stars if the Lounge would have been open. Best sleep ever -- great blackout curtains, cold AC, large modern comfortable room. Wanted to be further up Manhattan, but found this to be a good location...clean, safe, nice. Chinatown not far away and World Trade Center. Service was very good..everytime we requested something, it was to our room quickly.Not sure why they close the lounge over the weekend. Maybe another covid casualty? Marriott is so inconsistent for elite members. No free breakfast for half of my 4 day stay. And, of course, it never seems possible to use those suite upgrades.

This is a great hotel. The beds are very comfy and the view of the city on the top floors is beautiful. If you’re at ambassador level, you will not get your full benefits here. They do not provide a breakfast voucher for the connected restaurant. Instead you’ll get 750 points. There is no welcome gift either. Just more points are offered.

New York Marriott was our home away from home. They were absolutely amazing, accommodating, and professional. Best hotel in NYC hands down. We will return to this hotel in the near future.

Was an amazing stay with amazing views. Beds are super comfortable and showers are hot and relaxing! Awesome central location as close to 9/11 memorial, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island plus a short train ride to anywhere else. Will definitely stay again if we come back to NYC!

Checked in today. No TV since check-in in the entire hotel. Hard to believe in todays day and age in Manhattan, a Mariott cannot repair the satellite system. Rooms are tiny. I am here for a wedding. Cant wait to check out of here. Shame on Marriott.

Overall very good big downtown/WTC hotel with gorgeous views but hit-or-miss hospitality and service (although housekeeping was excellent on both of my recent visits). Decent elevators, nice rooms. Much better hotel these days than the similarly priced Millennium across the way

Excellent location with spacious rooms and even an on-site Starbuck (having an addiction to Caramel Fraps its something of particular significance to me).. Plus the views arent bad either 😉

The rooms are compact and not so spacious. But very maintained and good staff.

Definitely not a Mariott experience. We checked in at around 6 pm. There was no drinking water in the room. I went on the app to chat and asked for water, and was advised Were all out of water in the hotel. Definitely will not return.

Stayed here for 3 days because I couldn’t get my work done at home, I live in Manhattan. The beds were so comfortable. I had the best sleep ever. The woman at the front desk upgraded us to a Hudson River/downtown Jersey City view on the 32nd floor. We greatly appreciated it. I have no complaints. Starbucks is in the same building on the first floor. I got breakfast from there everyday, convenient. I honestly have no complaints. The cleanliness was A1. I rarely ran into other guests but the ones I did kept their masks on and practiced distancing. Only one family on the elevator at a time with three elevators in use. I never had to wait long. I would definitely return.

Hotel was nice, the view great of the Statue of Liberty. Staff was nice However, i did not feel safe with the clientele. The people staying were smoking in the hallways. It was not a good feeling being in such a nice hotel with clientele more suitable for a motel 6.

I stayed here for 18 nights and everyone was great. The rooms are very nice and clean. They have a restaurant, Starbucks and FedEx Kinko’s in the hotel which makes it very convenient.

This hotel is a really good place to stay for people from 1-4. Its very nicely designed, set up, and has an amazing view if your on the high floors. Room service is very good having a variety of restaurants to eat at. It even come with a mini fridge.

I have nothing to complain about their service and couldnt ask for more. I wasnt disappointed with my three nights here. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone I know.

I was very disappointed regarding the service. No housekeeping was offered, no clean towels. Rooms are old. AC was broken and we called technician 4 times. No one showed up. When we asked the front desk to change the room they said that it’s not possible, because they are fully booked. We were supposed to wait for the elevator 10 min every time we wanted to go back to the room. Mattress super uncomfortable. I wish we could cancel it and another hotel.

Had a wonderful stay. Could be 5 stars once the lounge reopens.

I liked my stays. The location was very good. The staff were nice and friendly. The front desk staff were well compliant to the mask regulations to both staff and customers, and follow Covid testing requests to customers. The housekeeping staff responded quick to our needs. The room is nice and clean with gorgeous view. Thisworks products are used in bathroom. I would choose the hotel again.

Clean and convenient for a quick trip to the city for a gig!

No service, not helpful or friendly. Pre-booked a room cleaning 24 hrs in advance and they never came. Ran out of towels and toilet paper. Couldn’t even pay for a late checkout, they said the hotel was fully booked but Booking.com had rooms for less than I paid. Go figure!

Epic location with inspirational views of NYC Harbor and the Hudson River. You can also see the Statue of Liberty aka Attis, during a clear day. Service and cleanliness is 5 star and the staff go out of their way to provide amenties and accomodations. A walk along the Hudson will provide a cathartic release only a great body of cleansing water can produce.

We are currently residing here - it is absolutely in shambles.1) There’s no bellboy, there’s just one poor soul playing concierge, secretary and customer service at the same time2) we did not receive cleaning room service for some reason. When we called to inquire, they said you have to specifically ask for it. Whether that’s true or not, I don’t know, but we were not told we had to do that.3) The state of the room was subpar, hair in the shower drain, etc.We are so disappointed, find somewhere else that actually cares about its customers.

I needed to send a very large and heavy box from the fedex located inside this Marriott and I neglected to look at FedEx’s hours before hauling my package all the way there only to have arrived after hours of FedEx.Seeing how bummed I was to have just gone through all of that effort the staff behind the desk allowed me to store my box over night in their concierge and even brought it to the fedex store for me when I came back the next day to move the box to the fedex.Excellent staff at this location, 10/10 recommend.

The hotel it self is nice but the rooms are small but that could because its manhattan. The service is as one would expect during the pandemic but lower then a full blown Marriott hotel

Loved every aspect of the hotel. The stay , the room , the ambience was perfect. Staff was very nice and courteous. However the breakfast service left a lot to be desired. 1. I was given vouchers for each day. In this modern day and age I would guess that the system would pick up these things automatically. I should not have to carry vouchers along everyday.2. Breakfast service needs to improve. The quality of food, preparedness of the order and the service was way below Marriott standards.

My hotel room had a great view of the Statue of Liberty and the Hudson.Negative: The room was not cleaned properly. There was hair from the previous person in the sink and shower. There was trash and crumbs on the floor which let me know they did not vacuum, sweep, or mop. I was very disappointed.

Room was clean, service was very prompt and friendly. The view was gorgeous. Location good - within reasonable walking proximity to stroll Wall Street, Broadway and waterfront for views of Lady Liberty. The attached burger restaurant was open every day and had a decent selection including some decadent desserts. The attached Starbucks was closed due to COVID. The front desk gave us bottled water upon request, but the amenity corner where you can usu buy drinks/snacks and some toiletries was emptied/closed. It was challenging getting into the lobby with luggage as I had to hold open the swinging doors (not automatic and no bellman) and haul bags up about 5 stairs. There is no pullout for cars to stop so my Uber driver was blocking a traffic lane to unload my bags and the traffic zooming by felt hazardous. Overall I would stay here again and do recommend.

Lobby is under construction, but not much of an issue. Very convenient to most major subway lines, 9/11 Memorial and Freedom Tower, Trinity Church, South Street Seaport, etc. Wished we could have stayed longer. Special shout out to Manny, Anthony, and housekeeping, who were among those who went above and beyond.

My wife and I stayed at the downtown Marriott for our wedding anniversary! From start to finish we couldn’t have had a better time thanks to Marriott. We were greeted with a bottle of wine for the room. Since it was our anniversary the hotel upgraded our room to this amazing corner spot. We had a beautiful view of the water on one side and one world trade on the other side. That view at night was just magical. The hotel is located perfectly to so many great restaurants and things to do. Thank you Marriott for making our anniversary so special. We will be back again!!

A fun place for staycation even during COVID because of the perfect location. Within walking distance you can reach Freedom Tower, numerous, Eatky and Le district, restaurants, coffee shops, night life, a updated playground, and a riverside walkway/bike lane. The interior is spotless clean and the staff friendly. My family had a great time here and cant wait to go back.

Paid a bit extra for the deluxe room and it was well worth it for the 3 of us. Bathroom was much bigger than i expected. Had enough room to walk around each other while getting ready and kept our luggage out but out of the way. Room recently renovated. Beds and linens were soft and fluffy. Clean room. Was able to see Lady Liberty from our window.

The New York Downtown Marriott was a great hotel. This was my first stay. I typically stay at other Marriotts in New York. This hotel was a pleasant experience in many ways. The staff was wonderful accommodating me and my family. The hotel rooms are very stylishly decorated. The hotel location is perfect for downtown Wall Street businesses stays. Nice concierge room. Very well equipped fitness center. Definitely coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Rooms have been beautifully redesigned, are extremely clean and have used the limited space very efficiently. All staff we encountered were friendly and hospitable. The food at Bill’s was excellent. Fantastic location too. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Visited New York with my family for just the second time. Check in was a breeze and was well informed by the check in agent. Room was spotless and shower nice and hot on demand. It was cold and being from Florida a shower was a must to defrost after an early arrival. Location was superb to tour World Trade Center and memorial with excellent shopping and food very close by.

The Hotel was accommodating, especially with a small glitch with booking. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. The location is great, right next to the 9/11 memorial and museum. It is a short distance to Wall Street and Battery Park and an a leisurely walk to SoHo and the Village (on a good day). Great areas to walk along the Hudson, rent a bike and ride along the bike path and shop. Overall a great location and hotel.

My husband and I travelled with another couple and had four kids between us- we loved our stay here and would book again. Our room was spacious and immaculate. Great location and views. Walking to everything was super easy. Shower and bed was amazing. There was not a microwave in the suite. The lounge was great and had great views. The restaurant attached was not good and overpriced.

Nicky one of the receptionists was not welcoming and I was charged a fee without notice.

My girlfriends and I arrived early in the morning after traveling the city all day. When we got to our room, we were unaware that it was only a king bed with no pull out bed for a third person. I had made a phone call using the Bonvoy app and had the front desk on the phone in seconds. They very quickly got us a new room (with no extra charge) and took care of everything we needed. The hotel was clean, inviting, and seemed very new. Excellent service. I definitely recommend downloading the app. Its easy to use and has everything you need at your fingertips.

We had our grandsons for the holiday weekend and their first visit to lower Manhattan. Great location to visit Liberty Park, the 9/11 Memorial, the Eatily, the Statue of Liberty, wall St., Seaport, Battery Park, the Staten Island Ferry and the Glass Carousel. The kids loved “Bill’s Best Burgers” at the Marriott Restaurant. Our server Ayana was fun and fabulous, making magic hot chocolate with whipped cream on top. We will return for certain!

Bills Bar & Burger does the food, it’s nothing to shout home about but if you want to watch a game with friends then it’s a good place to go. The main bar near reception is usually pretty quiet but they put on some decent live acts during the week so turned out to be a good find if you want to go chat with friends and enjoy some high quality vocals and piano, not too pricey either which was surprising.

The staff at this hotel were amazing.We loved this hotel! The room was amazing! Very clean and well stocked with toiletries! The main lobby is stunning! I was in awe! They do have accessible rooms! So that’s awesome too! I felt like the price point was amazing! The staff were very accommodating and friendly! Definitely will be coming back.
