I found Tri State domestic on Indeed. com, sent them my resume and applied for the position I was interested in. In the end I did not get the position, but I accepted and was ready to move on. The only thing I had asked the owner was if he could ask the family if there was a specific reason why I did not get the position. I just wanted some feedback that could have possibly helped on my next interview. Well his reply was not very kind and I felt it was quite rude honestly. A few of my supportive nanny friends left some reviews and this is where the owner completely lost himself, from calling me excessively, to yelling at me on the phone, and saying some very unkind things, to now my personal information on this google review. It has gotten so bad that someone keeps calling my phone up to 5 times a day, privately and then not saying a word on the phone. What have I done to deserve this? I was just a young lady looking for an agency for help and now I am completely devastated! I see that I have to be the bigger person since the owner will not. But just imagine if this happened to someone you knew, or your child, how you would feel with her personal information exposed. All I can do now is move on and hope for the best.

These Reviews are not spam. We have all seen the email and it was disturbing to say the least. Thats right...a group of over 5,000 nannies have seen an email that was sent from this man. Maybe he has been great to the people that decide to use his services but he is awful to the staff that he is trying to place in your homes. I would personally not want to have someone in my who who has been talked down to by the person who is supposed to also have their best interest in mind or who has had their phone number and email address plastered all over Google. This is in no way how a business should treat an employee or future employee.We have seen your email. I cannot stress this enough. I have edited my review, as the owner of this company has clearly seen his wrong, and has removed his unprofessional comments.That being said, I clearly state that his behavior is exactly why we opted to go with a different company. We HAVE been in contact with your company, but DID not sign a contract or any paperwork.This is a company that you should avoid. My current nanny family had considered using them - and after watching how theyve replied to posts on here, and how theyve handled anything honest. None of the reviews posted break any terms of service - but their replies- VERY unprofessional.Publically posting someones personal information as a way to retaliate against a review they do not like, is a huge red flag. Avoid at all costs. I will be reporting this company to google in hopes of having the comments that violate confidentiality between their former client and themselves deleted or edited.EDITED: As I stated very clearly, we opted to NOT use this company based on his reply. I have taken screen captures, of all posts, and forwarded them to the gal with whom theyre illegally posting all her information for. I fully intend to help get these guys either a dose of reality that they cannot treat people like this, or at the very least, get the word out that they are not a company that cares about their customers.

Nor do such companies reply to reviews by publicly broadcasting the name and contact information of a potential placement who simply wanted feedback on her most recent job interview with a client of the agency.Unless you are willing to risk having your personal information maliciously spread across the internet, dont even consider working with Tri State Nannies and Mark.

If you dont believe me, go ahead and look at his response calling us troll friends and posting a nannys personal information (which is also against Googles rules-way to pick and chose which rules to follow, Mark). Please think: if this is how he handles sensitive information of employees then how will he handle YOUR information if he decides he doesnt like you. Please reconsider working with Tri State Domestic.Mark, the owner of this fine company (please note the heavy sarcasm), has really made an enemy out of an INTERNATIONAL nanny community with over 6,000 members.It all started when one of our most loved and respected members asked for feedback after a family decided to go with another child care option after a seemingly perfect interview. He denied her request with a short email that read No. Let it go. HIGHLY unprofessional for the owner of an agency. In the nanny community, nannies look to agencies as a advocate. Someone who will always stay by their side. Good agencies have good nannies that continue to make their clients happy. Let me tell you, telling a nanny to let it go is NOT a way to keep a good nanny.When word got out a few of our fellow nannies wrote some reviews just to not only let clients know, but other nannies just how unprofessional Mark really is. He then called the nanny and threatened her with legal action even noting this is why I dont work with you people. I guess we can only insinuate what you people mean but it may be worth mentioning that this particular nanny is a woman of color.This infuriated even more nannies so the negative reviews started pouring in. Mark eventually felt the need to shut down his original Tri State Domestic page.There was one particular nanny who reviewed his company, that he sent a message to threatening legal action, though the nanny did nothing wrong but write a review.Mark from Tri State Domestic is certainly not a pleasure to work with, and really shouldnt be in business. There are plenty of fine household staffing agencies in New York, Tri State Domestic is not one of them.

Professional service of New YorkI must start with saying this agency lacks professionalism. A few days ago I heard of this company and found them on Facebook. They had quite a few reviews that werent great.Instead of fixing the problem or improving themselves for future interactions with possible nannies and families this company deleted their Facebook page and made a new one while also threatening other nannies and mannies over Facebook.A nanny asked this company for feedback about a position she didnt get. Instead of helping her our or simply letting her know in a respectful way that they werent able to ask the family why they made the choice they did an employee told her to Let it go. He then called her and yelled at her. AS IF that wasnt enough unprofessionalism he then told her This is why I dont work with you people.Now his you people comment could mean anything. Does he not like working with a professional nanny who likes feedback so she can improve herself? Does he not like working with women? Does he not like working with people of color? It doesnt really matter what people he meant when the implications of who he meant are bad enough.And as if the above wasnt bad enough this agency posted the nannies name and personal information on google while bashing her. The company is saying she recieved what she asked for as far as feed back HOWEVER I can attest to the fact that her email was respectful and the companies email was NOT.**ON A DIFFERENT note Googles terms prohibit leaving someones personal information such as number and email. This company is replying back to reviews citing the terms of google are being broken while simultaneously breaking them by posting the nannies personal information. This not only puts the nanny at danger of strangers having her number and full name but its also just another mark of how unprofessional this company is.**As a new york nanny I will never go through this company. They could have apologized in the beginning but instead have chosen to intimidate people and show their true stripes.
