Ok entering the first thing you are offered is a beer or a shot. So you know you have come to the right place!Such a great vibe. Everyones super friendly and they really know how to cut hair. As they will tell you everyone working there has a PHD in cutting hair!Its a little more expensive than others around but you get what you pay for! And I have not had such a good cut in a while! I will 💯 be going back.Oh and they are dog friendly, so my little pup had a lot of fun with everyone.

I stopped in at Bonefade Barbers on Avenue A on a whim for a much needed haircut. To be honest I walked by the place and looked in four times before I went in. Where im from Barbershops can tend to be quite an abrasive environment, and as someone whos Very visibly gay I was nervous about what kind of situation i was getting myself into to try and save 50 bucks. But the service was incredibly Covid-19 safe, friendly and efficient (i only sat down for like 15-20 minutes) and I got a really really sick haircut out of it 12/12 would recommend.

I Recently moved here from Florida. I am very particular about my beard so I spent quite a bit of tome looking into all the different locations. Finally I came across Bonefade. As a dude with long hair, I was relieved to find this spot when I moved to NY. Jane knew what she was doing and gave a perfect trim that allowed my hair to grow out and look good. I came back to get my flow shorter for the summer and she gave me the perfect haircut. This is my go to spot and I’d recommend it to anyone!

The place is very clean, quick and fairly priced. But unfortunately like most places Ive been to the barber that cut my hair did not manage my curls well. He cut my hair far shorter than requested and the sides where I got a fade are growing back without direction and very coarse. I would definitely recommend it for people with straight hair though! The employees are friendly and experienced, the prices are okay, but its just not for my curls.

Me and my girlfriend was walking by East village across the street from Tompkins Square, Park and we spotted this cool barbershop I decided to give it a try i usually get my haircut In Williamsburg as soon as we walked in the door We got Greeted with a big smile and a welcoming entrance I felt like I was at home and the best thing about of the guys over here was so friendly that made me feel like I was at home and I’ve been coming back ever since. Highly recommended highly recommended.

Moved to the East Village a few months ago and struggled to find a high-quality barber that can also handle scissor cuts. The staff here is always friendly and the service is great. The cuts are not cheap but the price is well worth it. Jane is a wonderful hair stylist and is very pleasant. I recommend Bonefade to all of my friends and look forward to patronizing their business for as long as Im living in the area.

Place is amazing. Mike does the best haircuts in NYC. Never an issue and always on time and can do any style. And they take appointments so it’s super convenient. Ive not had much luck with my hair whilst moving to NYC from the UK/Australia. Ive visited numerous barber shops and never came away happy... Mikey D has been my barber for 8 years when I moved into the neighborhood. Hes an expert across all different hair types, particularly mine, Asian hair. And he can chat it up across every topic and current events. The other barbers are great too, and they also know how to cut Asian hair well.

This is the best barbershop I’ve ever been to. I’m SUPER particular about my hair (type of guy who uses pomade and blowdrys it and needs a specific look) and Mark kills it EVERY TIME. I used to come in all the way from CT (2hrs) just to get a haircut by Mark. Now I live in DC and I STILL come in to Bonefade just to see Mark. Mark is my dude! Such a good guy and genuinely cares about his clients. I once came in half an hour late past closing on a Friday night (too much traffic from CT) and he STILL took care of me – that’s the kind of guy he is. My brother lives in the east village, and after he recommended Bonefade to me I’ve gone nowhere else.Additionally, they give out free drinks, free hair washes after a cut, and the overall vibe is very relaxed and friendly. I’ve had some good laughs in there. Keep up the amazing work. HUGE FAN.

Bonefade is THE spot in east village. Reasonably priced for their expertise. I go to Moe (Moe Money, Mo Problems) or Mark. I get my haircut every 3 weeks. They offer a great experience through good music, superb service, and all of them are friendly. On top of that, the assistant ladies offer you a beer or a shot right when you walk in.
