I enjoy my interactions with the front desk staff. Michelle is superb! Sign-up was easy, as I did it online. If you sign-up in-person it is just as simple and the tour they give is comprehensive. They run promotions throughout the year which are pretty cool - I signed up for the “No Commitment” plan for $10/month.Bathrooms were very clean and I was impressed with the water pressure in the shower! I wish both dressing stalls had a bench.Overall, my only dislike it that 80% of my fellow gym goers do NOT wipe down the equipment when they are done. I would like to see management create some type of system that would help encourage everyone to sanitize the stations after use. I decided to just clean my machine “before” I use it in order to solve this issue. It takes a little extra time but it is worth it for me to do so.

Nice facility, friendly folks, and not very crowded when I went today. Everything very clean and neat. Think itll be a good place to do my weights and stretches for the week.

I have really enjoyed my membership at planet fitness. The staff is wonderful. the facility is super clean. I love that it is truly a judgement free zone. I also like the perks of being a black card member

I was glad to be back at Planet Fitness since recovering from COVID-19! Trinity helped me get my membership renewed and the treadmill was awesome!

Thanks to Alaina I was signed up quickly and given a tour of the gym. She explained everything perfectly. She showed me all of the different workout rooms and equipment. Also I tried out the black card spa. All the different options and I was in heaven. She was very kind and professional. Highly recommend this gym. It’s super clean and sanitary as well.

Large and spacious, nice friendly staff, clean showers. Till 10pm on weekends is a bonus. 👍

The gym is ok the tanning beds are shot and theres a few other things, but the low score rating is from the people that patronize this establishment. Its in floriduh and not 1Thing is good about floriduh. The people here are the lowest form of life without an ounce of intelligence.

Top of the line 30 min workout equipment like the first time I had done it. It takes longer than 30mins when cleaning equipment before and after use, great workout

This location in New Smyrna is the BEST one so far. The one in Kissimmee took double payments and lied to my husband and I saying its not a contract and when we stopped going they kept taking money from our accounts. Weve called several times and even the corporate office told us to read the fine line next time. I swore I would NEVER go to another planet fitness and decided to give another a try. Best decision EVER. Its my favorite place, no Judgement and the staff are awesome. They are right there when you need them. Thank you New Smyrna planet fitness STAFF. You are the ones that make the place.

Very spacious gym with multiple hydromassage & massage chairs, it is very clean, big ceiling fans & nice staff. I pass 2 PFs to reach Smyrna Beach location.

Initial Review: Staff are rude in general. The end. This was based on 5 gym visits. 1 starUpdate 05/25/2021: Staff for the past couple of visits have been much more professional. Based on this, I upgrade a star, and am hopeful to do so again in the future if the trend continues. 2 stars and hopefully climbing.

Too many people just sit at machines on their phones texting etc. Very inconsiderate and no one at gym does anything. No common sense or rules enforcementThis is the Orlando (Turkey Lake) location.

This PF is just...weird. The way it runs its business is just bizarre. Besides I REALLY miss the stretch cage. Massage chair though...MUCH better than the one in Daytona. (Still prefer you tho Daytona)

Great day and workout

Love it. Clean, friendly people. I say this after having my wallet and money/cards stolen out of a locked locker. Not their fault, criminals are criminals. Love the gym, just dont bring anything valuable inside, leave it in your car.

Overall clean, good environment, good price, and overall a good place to workout.

Really like this gym for our town it is huge and you cant beat the membership price. I went for the black card membership and its great. I can take a guest anytime or as many times as you want you also get the use of massage chairs and tanning. Staff is really friendly and helpful.

Hello gym fan’s, this gym has nice new equipment and the staff keep it very clean. My only question is: In a gym that.s not supposed to judge you and your fitness level why do you? Over the dumbbell rack you have a “Lunk Alarm with the description of a lunk” that’s a judgment of people in shape. Not only that but your no bag policy is for the same reason. It is discriminatory to people that take their workouts seriously.

They may as well not advertise WiFi - tl;drI travel a lot and have been to many Planet Fitness gyms across the country. I enjoy the chain for its various locations and the value is second to none but in the 2 weeks I have been coming to the New Smyrna location I have been able to use their WiFi twice. It’s truly frustrating having to manually disconnect from their WiFi in order to stream something when I’m trying to get a quick workout in. I’ve tried switching from podcasts, to Amazon music, to Pandora all with the same result - nothing. This is not the end of the world but it is part of their selling point and value that is misleading for this location

Absolutely love this place...!!! Been wishing for a planet fitness near Edgewater since we moved here in 2016 from Daytona. I cant belive we really got one now.! Still excited to go everyday..! All hands down very clean and awesome equipment.! Staff are very nice and professional.!!!

I will never recommend this gym to anybody i exercise the treadmill the machine squeaks so employ comes tell me I cant exercise that way cause people have complained which its a lie cause the music its so loud at that place u cant hear your own which I have complained about it but no fix. She tries to tell me how to use machine when u know she never has, so I pay for this every month and u tell me what to do and not. People talk on cell drop weights in front employs which I seen but u say nothing but Hispanic girl makes a sound that bothers u and u come to tell me about it discrimination all the way, I exercise at south daytona of at La fitness the same way and nobody has ever come to disrupt my exercise cause your machines are not oil and it bothers u. And on top of it u lie people cant complain cause its not an ongoing sound and im not there everyday discrimination thsts what it is i will keep anybody from going there not good vibe loud and u cant exercise thr way u want Hispanic dont make noise or u get talk to but pay your fee
