They were friendly and the prices are the best by far!

I had a large amount of documents to shred. Too much for Kane County recycling shred day that is only a few times a year and has a limit of 4 boxes. I had too much to haul to a facility (you can take to local storage facilities, pay by the box, and they will pick up there.) I called several times for information and Mike was always extremely helpful. I was able to schedule a home pickup when I was ready. They hauled away all the boxes (about 22) I had stacked in my garage. I thought the price was extremely reasonable for up to 42 boxes. Under $100. I will use them again, for sure. You could go together with some neighbors to cover the cost and it is well worth it. I received a statement via email a few days later, confirming my boxes were destroyed.

Mike is great to deal with. I’ve used Secure Document Solutions many times this year for small paper purges. It was easy to make an appointment to shred $3.50 each box at the New Lenox location. I was able to drop off my papers the same or the next day. Super happy with the staff.

We cleaned out several bins of old bills, statements and medical paperwork. I didn’t feel comfortable with dropping everything off with just any shredding service. I called and brought everything over to their business in New Lenox and within 2 -3 minutes, I was able to watch everything get shredded! The price was very reasonable! 10 Stars!!! It would be impossible to sufficiently sing the praises of Mike and this company. Mike is the owner and Director of Operations. I called him last minute at about 8 pm and he answered for one. Secondly, my request was for a minimum amount of personal documents of my late mother within a less than 24 hour turn around time. He agreed and his pricing was super competitive, even on the “rush.” He kindly explained the process in detail. This ensured I felt safe about the destruction of the documents as well as at peace with the fact the pulp from the shredded documents will be re-purposed, in to something useful, toilet paper!
