I visit Gils Barbershop about 2 times a month. While I have my own Barber that I set appointments with, I know I have no problem getting a haircut with any available Barber. Everyone is professional and courteous and Gil is an outstanding business owner.

I came into this shop looking to get just a simple shapeup & ended up with incredible results. Gil, the owner & the gentleman who cut my hair, was not only polite & listened to what I wanted, but also exuded INCREDIBLE customer service. I also appreciated that whilst he was conversing with his fellow colleagues, he was multitasking-conversing, cutting my hair (while still paying very close to detail), & he also kept notice of a client who had walked in & he STILL acknowledged him, which I thought was also incredibly professional of him.Most barbers I have encountered either take way too long cutting my hair because they are focused on lollygagging & not interested in making a profit (much less customer service), but Gil was the exact opposite-not to mention that he did a great job on my hair in less than 15 minutes-a time frame that I have NEVER encountered at any other barbershop.Keep up the good work, Gil, & thanks again!

This is a great Barbarshop. It’s clean, classy and with all the right equipment for a clean and perfect hair cut. Once its your turn for a hair cut any of the guys will take care of you and give you a great cut wether you are a 5 year customer or its your first time walking in(Bilingual). Gils barber shop its coveniently located in one of New Havens busiest strips so parking your car is easy, if not the bus stop is right across the street. The guys at Gils barber shop are the best at what they do. Ive been a customer from day 1 wouldnt go any where else.
