The Orchid was a dream come true. Our catering fell through a few weeks before our wedding, and the Orchid stepped in. Solitaire and her team re-created our entire menu that we wanted, plus a few fun additions, all for less than the cost of the other caterer. The food was delicious; our guests raved about it all night and are still talking about the delicious breakfast food. The staff were so fun and friendly! The Orchid went above and beyond our exceptions in every possible way.

Really nice people who worked with us on a lot of things. There were a few things that were very confusing for first time couple planning a wedding. Some things werent explained well and although this place was more cost effective than other options it was still pretty pricey for a few hours of use. They did offer a lot of services to us. However some things were overpriced such as over 300 dollars to turn on lights. We tried getting the most basic options and still paid well over 4,000. Despite all this, it was a good experience, the event turned out great and at the end it ended up looking great.

Was very nice. Ample parking. The food provided was really good. Some of the staff was either new or unfamiliar with things, and needed a little training. But, they had been closed for a long time, so were just getting back in the swing of things. Overall, it was a nice experience for a wedding reception.

Not well kept. Food was below average, dry no flavor. Wouldnt recommend.

Held our march fundraiser here for our non-profit The Journey, amazing experience, great hosts, staff, atmosphere, location, highly recommend!! Looking forward to utilizing again in near future thanks guys

Love the Orchid was the response I got from the venue when asking about caterers for our wedding. And I couldnt agree more! They are the reason the reception was a hit. Solitaire is amazing to work with and her staff is thorough and simply delightful. Great food and service! You wont be disappointed.

The venue would gave been better if the 2 areas for seating were more open. Otherwise, the grounds were beautiful. The food was very good. The bartending staff was not prepared. They had no fruit cut up and to get some was like pulling teeth. All in all not too bad of an event.

Friend just had his wedding and reception here. It was a really good time. The staff was nice and fast to get things. They were a little mad at us for not leaving right on time, but I understand that.

As the owner of Millers Mobile Music this an aweome place to have a wedding reception and the staff and owner are exceptional to work with. We have DJ there lots of times and always had a great experience.

Absolutely fantastic reception hall!! Loved working with Solitaire and had a fantastic experience working with the other employees. One complaint was the temperature, which it got a little warm (the air conditioner apparently froze), but that was such a minor thing its only barely worth mentioning. The food, the atmosphere, and the whole design of the place were fantastic - all of our guests loved everything, the food especially.Would recommend for anyones wedding!

I have entertained here at least 6 times with Fort Wayne DJs, and its one of my favorite places. The owner, Solitaire and her staff are so friendly, top notch decor, plenty of parking and an outdoor covered shelter is the perfect place for a ceremony. Guest friendly, great food and I would highly recommend the Orchid for your next event!

Great venue for a wedding! Solitare is amazing! I couldnt have asked for a better person to assist with my wedding! She worked with me from start to finish and my head table looked awesome! The beautiful antique ladder with floral and lights her daughter put together is great for a rustic, yet chic look. We had a taco bar and it was delish and a huge hit! :-)I will recommend The Orchid and Solitare whole heartedly to any bride who wants their dream wedding! ♡ Awesome job Team!!

I couldnt be happier than we had our wedding reception at the Orchid! It was absolutely wonderful! It was the perfect size; the food was exceptional; the decorations were gorgeous. It was such a blessing!

Nice venue. Not that I needed it, but I noticed there is no baby changing station in the mens restroom.

We have been booked to DJ many events here over the years and it is always a pleasure to work with the Venue and Staff! Very helpfull and organized! Would recommend to anybody looking for a no hassle Venue for their event!

Beautiful establishment. Friendly, courteous staff. Clean restrooms. Outdoor Pavillion is a great place for a wedding. Plenty of seating indoors for an event. Dance floor.

Nice venue, food overall was good, was a large wedding reception that used both sides and although a little awkward when we got there, they made it work well for what they had. Probably a better venue if you rent 1/2 the space to keep it all together.

Words cannot describe how wonderful our wedding was. solitaire & david went ABOVE and BEYOND to make our celebration a night we will never forget.our guests RAVED about the food and went up for seconds - maybe even thirds! their favorite part was the kids bar - that the adults refused to stay out of!it could not have been better. as we danced our first dance i looked out at all of our friends & family in one room and thought, its just like i dreamed.solitaire, words are not enough to thank you for making a 20+ year old dream come true. we cannot wait to come back and do it again at our anniversary parties!love.

We used The Orchid as our caterer for our wedding at the Philmore and everyone raved about how great the food was during the reception and the room was decorated just as I had imagined when I walked in. The entire staff was friendly and amazing accommodating throughout the entire night.
