Technician Matt was just out to my home for my annual rodent preventative maintenance (filling bait stations, setting traps, checking perimeter for entry points, etc.) - this is the second year in a row hes been out, and not only does he do a great job, quickly and professionally (that resulted in NO visible evidence of rodents last fall/winter) hes just an incredibly lovely person - personable, polite, funny and made a best friend in my dog. A company that has a real life person answer the phone, AND doesnt try to sell you services you dont need. This is my first time using your service and I would definitley recommend you in the future. I called Mike for a consult on a bug issue. He was prompt in his responses and helped deescalate my anxiety over the problem. I didn’t end up using his services because he informed me of options that I could do myself, which I appreciate in a business and made me feel like he wasn’t out to charge me for something I didn’t need. Erik Larson is excellent. I left a message, got a call five minutes later (he was on the line with another customer), and hes arranged for someone to come out tomorrow. Reasonable price. Lots of free advice by answering questions I had. Its fairly rare to find excellent customer service like this - fast, reliable, professional, reasonably priced.

Today I called and spoke with Mike. Im having an issue with Mice and I really want to avoid the high costs of hiring someone and weve already put a lot of money and effort into doing the job ourselves. However I had some questions I needed answered by a professional. He was very friendly and open and was happy to talk to me at length about my situation. He explained things very clearly for me, gave me tips and advice. And never did he even suggest that I need to hire him in order to get the help I was looking for. His amazing customer service alone would definitely make me want to hire him if we cant get the job done on our own. I have never had a bed experience with this company. Neat, professional and they get the job done.

Frankly I am disappointed in their service. We have a mouse problem that has been going on for several months and gave these guys a call because of how highly rated they are. The exterminator came, laid a few traps down, than criticized areas of our house that he said were too cluttered.He came back for his 2 week visit and removed some of the mice trapped on the sticky paper, and thats the last we saw of him. We still have mice, and it wasnt until we started laying our own traps down that they started to settle down.We ended up paying this company hundreds of dollars to lay a bunch of traps down that we ended up having to do again ourselves. The only difference is that it cost far less money not using them. Our pest problem is still going on making our purpose for calling them entirely pointless.

They did a great job checking our house and taking care of the existing mouse problem. However, I had no response from them requesting a follow up for new ones that were showing up.

We, too, have had excellent service with Erik Larsen. He is very knowledgeable about pest problems , very thorough in his treatment of our home and yard, and very patient in addressing my concerns and in answering my many questions.

Mike Cogans title on his business card is Problem Solver. My experience with Be There Pest Control proved that title is accurate. We had a nasty problem with a hidden nest of ornery Yellow Jackets that had stung both my wife and I multiple times. Our amateur attempt at eliminating the problem only made matters worse.I Googled exterminators in St. Paul and came up with four potentially viable options. I first called three who were located closest to my home and waited nearly three hours for a return call. None came. I then called BTPC. Mike returned my call in less than two minutes. Luckily, he happened to be between calls and not far from my location. He assured me he could take care of our bee problem and arrived in about ten minutes. I was immediately impressed with his professionalism. When I answered the door, he presented me with his business card, presented himself in a clean, pressed white uniform with the company logo and his name stitched across the front, and I could see his color-coordinated company vehicle parked on the street in front of the house. It was a very reassuring first impression.Mike was very thorough in his inspection of the house. He found three additional wasps nests, which he took care of, and then donned his protective gear before taking on the main attraction. When he was done, I was pleased to find out he even accepted Mastercard and Visa as payment. Its nice to know you can earn rewards points for getting your pest problems solved. Before leaving, Mike gave me his assurance that if we noticed any continued activity after about 5 days, he would gladly return and re-treat. I did end up calling him to come back as we saw 1-2 drunken bees around the access point to the nest. Mike was good to his word. He returned the next morning and, even though he assured me the treatment was doing its job and was just taking a little longer due to a larger number of bees in the nest, he retreated the area without additional charge. He may have felt a bit annoyed with me for having to come out when the first application was doing its job, but he still honored his guarantee and did so with a smile. Thats what I call service!I highly recommend Mike Cogan and Be There Pest Control to any Twin Citian who is in need of a reliable, professional and honorable exterminator.
