I have been a IMS member for over 20 years, doing Masonry and cement work. I have enjoyed my several different brokers over the years, my most recent broker is Mark. What a great super nice guy to work with and he will always make you laugh. If you decide to join ask for Mark! Like I said I have been a member for over 20 years, so I use a lot of barter in my personal life. I personally use it for my hair cuts, massage, dental, eye doctor, advertising and a bunch of great restaurants. It’s a good way to do extra business cause this will just add to your bottom line by bringing in new clients.

I do not normally post reviews but feel I have to in this case. I joined IMS Milwaukee over 12 years ago. If you have a product that is of high demand, your account balance will rise quickly. However, finding a product or service on which to use your account funds is a HUGE challenge. Searching for something to purchase is like going to a yard sale where someone cleaned out the local dump. If you do find something of interest it is often overpriced compared to what you could pay for it at regular retailers.Meanwhile, paying fees to IMS at $24/month x 12 years I spent more on fees while trying to find something reasonable to purchase than I had as my entire account balance. My choices are either spend through my balance on things I do not want or need or continue to pay fees. BTW, youll also need to pay fees when you buy an item.Greatly regret joining!!

I really enjoy working with IMS Barter. I am able to get additional sales that my company may not otherwise receive. Also, I am finding a lot of great ways to use the barter dollars. My company has used barter dollars to pay for marketing and advertising, an answering service, a lawyer, accounting services, maid service and more.I also use barter dollars personally for various things like restaurants, hotels, equipment rental, lawn care, etc.IMS has been having a customer appreciation day ounce a year that is a lot of fun. Curt is a great broker. Sometimes you need to work to find service or product you need, however, there are many ways to save cash money by working through IMS to find someone that will do work for you on trade. We have sold a lot of office furniture through IMS & have used other companies for a wide variety of services- contractors, lawn care, landscaping, movers & coupons to local restaurants to name a few... we have liked being a part of IMS since 2009!

I use IMS for trade and own a brewpub. As more vendors have come online, Ive used it for advertising, repairs, etc. and its brought in business as well. Its becoming a valuable service to help save some maintenance costs in particular!

I worked for a long time at an IMS restaurant client, almost 14 years. I served and managed during my years there. The clients from IMS were always great and even staff members of IMS frequented the restaurant and were helpful and fantastic to deal with. We did repair work, bought equipment and advertising, never had issues. Highly recommend the additional customers, this is a great way to grow your business and save cash on expenses.

Process is relatively straightforward and easy to use. Only drawbacks are coming and going of network members, and occasional surprises when members only accept partial trade as compensation. Its revenue that doesnt require upfront marketing time or investment. Opens opportunities for markets and customers we otherwise would not be able to access
