Went in to fix my computer because it showed no net work configuration. Was not an easy fix, but Darren at Computer Engineer Group was able to correct it and I have a running computer again. They did not try to sell me another computer or upgrade. Thank you

Took my HP laptop to CEG Napa for some repairs and they did a fantastic job. It has been about a month now since they repaired it and I have encountered no problems at all. A very positive experience, second time in for repairs. First repair was a screen replacement on an I phone, fast turn around and a very fair price.Second repair was on my MacBook Pro, was ready to ditch the laptop and buy another since it was running so slow. Figured I would have them look at it and confirm my suspicions about the need to replace, long story short a quick diagnostics and a very reasonable estimate for a new hard drive and I just saved $1,100 and have a like new fast computer again. Thank you, you are all great and very professional.
I had a fantastic experience here. My phone charging port wasn’t working, and I was afraid it was broken and would need to be repaired. A friendly gentleman greeted me and diagnosed the issue; there was a buildup of lint inside the port and once he cleaned it out, it worked perfectly. He didn’t charge me a penny; a 5 star review is the least I can give in return. Great service, great staff. 5/5!!
They fixed my very expensive laptop for only $75 after I messed it up. They were very friendly and knew a lot! I didnt ask how long until it was going to take but they called me a week later saying it was ready for pickup. I am very happy with my experience here.
I basically threw away $75 for a diagnostic and they didn’t even call me to pick it up. The staff is friendly but I’d recommend bringing someone with you who is experienced with computers.

I met with Eric this morning. He was very informative and spoke in plain simple, terms for a computer illiterate. He really made me feel like I almost knew what I was doing when I left!! Extremely reasonable price, next day appointment, easy parking, These guys are experts!
Staff is friendly but not highly efficient or timely. My service for a screen replacement quoted 2-3 days took 5. Two days later I took protective film off. The new screen was cracked. I called and brought it back immediately. That was two weeks ago. No call back. I called last week. Manager claims I did it his employees would not knowingly turn over a broken device. Well what about not knowing it was cracked? He said he’d check his video. No answer back so I called two days ago. No word. Had to check with manager. We’ll call you back. Still no call back. And if they don’t replace this screen for free that I paid more than $200 to replace, I’m going to spread the word that unless you want to waste your money and time, you would better have a Plan B.UPDATE this review found its way to the owner’s desk. I have since received my repaired iPad fully to my satisfaction. Good job Jorge

I do not recommend these staff do not fix anything, since I brought them a clear computer as the damaged corners were a bit, they said that because of it they could not fix it. Then I took another computer and it was in good condition, because they told me that it was also impossible to fix. but it is that I went to another place, and they told me; that they did not fix anything! He wanted to say that they just cheated me! People be careful!

Brought in my Dell computer tower, they had it repaired the same day. Competitive pricing, the two gentlemen I dealt with were very friendly. Im not a tech-savvy guy so was happy they explained everything to me so I could understand.
They assisted me with a new SIM card and didn’t charge me anything. Now THAT is customer service. A five star review is the least that I can do.

No one is available to complete a simple task of resetting the log it password for a person who works remotely! It is unacceptable!
These people are super sketchy. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DEVICE HERE. I brought my computer here when it wouldnt start. On my PC I have Google Chrome set to open the most recent tabs when my computer reboots. When got my laptop back, I started it up and opened the browser. I saw that whoever worked on my laptop had the settings page and my bookmarks page open. In the bookmarks page, a bookmark folder was open that I **know** I havent opened in at least couple years. In the settings page is a list of passwords saved for multiple accounts on different websites, which can be accessed by typing in the computers login password; **which C.E.G. required me to give them when I brought my laptop in.** So why were these two tabs open? I never told them I was having issues with Google Chrome or any software on my computer. Whoever was working on my PC probably decided to do a little snooping.

My wifes phone got fixed without any problems. I brought in a fully functioning phone for a screen replacement and got back a broken phone with no apology, no refund, and no response. Be ware that if you bring in a phone it may not get fixed so back everything up and remove your sim and sd cards. They should tell you this.
Were delighted with service from this company. Javier came out to fix my printer. He not only did that but he also fixed my husbands computer and our tv!! Such a guy.
I brought in my computer on a friday, and was supposed to get it the next day. got it on monday. the problem still isnt fixed. they forgot to put the screws back into my computer, and it was 100 dollars
They are horrible. Ive had them screw up things like screen replacements and battery replacements. They ruined my iPad Air that I brought in for a simple battery replacement, Ive brought it in 3 times since and all they do is bleed my wallet and claim setting it on handicap mode is a great workaround. Ive had several friends tell me how theyve been screwed by these sitcom kids once I bring up my bad luck experiences. Go to Staples where they dont pretend they know how to fix it so they send it to experts and have it back in 72 hours.
Consumer beware. Stay away from these Morons. These rejects with their neat little black shirts couldnt fix dinner let alone an iPhone or a computer. $49 just to examine it which is not included on the final bill. Then they take it behind the secret wall to work on it where you cant see whats going on. Ended up taking it somewhere else where the guy opened my device right in front of me then told me what the problem was and how much it was going to be. Unless you like throwing your money away then by all means go to these Morons.

I had a very bad experience with the previous owners but desperately needed service in my iPhone and wanted to give them a chance. They didnt have the part I needed but promised to order it. I came in after receiving a call that it was in and found out that they had sold it over the weekend. There was no offer for a solution or sincere apology. Oops our bad, guess youre outta luck. We could order it again. Customer service here is lacking. Would not recommend this place at all.
I brought in my laptop which had a broken screen. The guy behind the counter told me that he COULD fix it, but then said he WOULD NOT FIX IT because we dont make much money off fixing screens. I guess they dont need business? Id recommend going just about anywhere else, as Id give 0 stars if it were possible.
Phone broke while on vaca (battery). I tried one of the services that “come to you”. Felt like a bad date-they never showed. I found CEG in Napa. Stopped in at 5:30 (30 min before closing). They were pleasant, accommodating, and fast. Out in 20 min with phone as good as new. More convenient than waiting for a date that never shows ;).
The only drawback I can bring to mind is that this review only allows for 5 Stars when in fact they deserve so much more . Quick , efficient , friendly and knowledgeable service that is unparalleled . The manager Austin when realizing I lived in Calistoga had my computer send to their St. Helena location thus facilitating a much shorter drive for me than all the way back to Napa when it came time to pick up my computer . This brings new faith back to me concerning Customer Service which often is difficult to find these days . If you are looking for computer repair I cannot recommend this group highly enough .
