My sister and I had so much fun learning to macrame. The ladies who own and teach Haven Place classes had us laughing the whole time. They even gave us a delicious homemade treat! Id highly recommend a ladies night out or a mommy and child date here!

I went to Haven Place for my first time. I was first impressed with how lovely and ecstatically pleasing it is. Second, everything was organized so well and made so easy to access. Third, Kathy is so talented and generous, as well as a great teacher. Fourth, it is a beautiful type of therapy in these stressful times, a very positive atmosphere. I highly recommend checking Haven Place out. You wont be disappointed.

My mom and I had a great time! Great beginning brush lettering class. We were sent home with brush lettering workbooks that we are still using a week later.

I absolutely loved this class!! Kathy is multi-talented and easily brings us along with her to create beautiful things for our junk journal. You don’t need to be an expert crafter- it’s all explained simply. SO worth taking this class. You’ll cherish it for a lifetime!

Great place to take art and craft classes. On the day I went, Cathy and Callie were there, and it was the watercolor flower journal class. The teaching was done in a friendly, warm manner and the class was relaxing. In two hours, we painted, then bound everything into a cute journal. I highly recommend this place. I hope to come back and do one of their retreats!

Went to a private candle making party at Haven place. I enjoyed every second of it! Kathy and her daughters were so welcoming!I had never made candles from start to finish before. The process was fun from the start. I was able to custom make my own scent and have a personalized label printed for me!So fun! I would do it again and again! The ladies at Haven Place are so personable and fun! I was able to host a girls night at a private candle making class. We all felt so at easy that we laughed the whole night. The ladies know what they are doing and are great teachers. And we got infamous butter bars!!! The process for signing up was so easy. They gave me a sign up link for our class so my friends could sign up individually. I highly recommend using them as a girls night out!

Fun, relaxed atmosphere. Will be taking other classes at Haven Place.Recently took the bookmaking class using the Coptic stitch method of binding. Was a fun class and I came home with a nice journal style book to use.

I had such a good time at Haven Place as I learned about watercolor painting. The class was well-organized, the instruction was wonderful, and I got to go home with watercolor supplies so I can practice my new-found skills. Plus, we got to eat Chelseas famous butter bars at the end of class. Delicious! Thank you for a great experience!

I have been to Haven Place a few times now, and I love every time as much as the last! Ive gone to a class with friends, and Ive also gone to a class without friends. And I left that class having made new friends! The instructors are such amazing, loving individuals! They really took the time to help with anything that I needed, mainly, extra instruction! They were definitely patient with all my questions. I would recommend this business over and over again. Haven Place is where you want to go if you want to learn new skills, have fun with old friends, and make new friends!

What a special place, Haven Place is incredible! There are many classes and projects to choose from, everything from simple crafts to projects that take a little more time. The classes are taught by the nicest ladies who will help you every step of the way. Theyve created an environment perfect for connecting with others and recharging. What a great place to spend an afternoon or evening with a friend or just getting to know the other attendees. I cant wait to go again!

I cannot say enough good things about Haven Place. From the moment you walk in you feel like youre visiting with family. I went to the hair training workshop held here by Jasmine Rae so I havent had the chance to do a full class yet but I am 1000% going back to. I cant even put into words just how uplifted I felt as I left. GO! I promise you wont leave disappointed.

I have been to Haven Place for two different classes and they were both amazing! In fact, I’m already signed up for two more classes! The atmosphere is so clean and bright it really fosters creativity. I’m not super creative myself, so “directed creativity” in these classes is perfect for me. I’ve done a workshop with friends (which was a blast), and a workshop with my young daughters (make sure the class is age appropriate before you sign up) and it was a great bonding experience. Try a class, you won’t be disappointed!

Just love all the fun workshops and all the ladies who i meet!! Love that its just a few hours dedicated to me creating. Its an amazing atmosphere and i cant wait to take my next class!

My husband and I have been seeking out fun and new things to do. We spent an evening creating cement planters and macrame hangers. Crafty is not his usual comfort zone but he admitted having a good time and learning a valuable skill. What a great idea to bring to our community. I saw people I know and met a few new people too! I personally can’t wait to have a girls night out with the lovelies at Haven Place!

So much fun taking a brush lettering class with Kallie and Kathy this week. I feel lucky to be able to participate online since Im not lucky enough to live in Idaho! Cant wait to take another online class soon.

I’ve taken a number of workshops with Haven Place now and each one has been so much fun. The ladies here really know what they are doing and make crafting so much fun. It’s so hard to pick a favorite class, each time I’m in a new class I think that’s my new favorite lol. The environment is so bright and clean and perfect for creativity to flow. Definitely making their workshops a regular thing in my schedule.

Haven Place is a great place to go and learn a new skill. They have a variety of teaching methods so you can feel comfortable with what you are creating. The moment you walk in you can feel the love and you become instant friends with them as well as the other people in the class. It is the perfect spot to go and have your personal “cup filled”, a fun girls day/night, or even a date night and am excited to go again.

I attended a private party at Haven Place, having never been to one of their classes. It was so much fun! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. My friends and I had so much fun and are already planning to attend another class! I highly recommend Haven Place!

I recently had the chance to attend a class at Haven Place and it was heavenly. As soon as I arrived i was greeting by beautiful smiling faces and instantly felt right at home. I was there taking the botanical sketching and watercolor class and I was actually nervous because i have never done art like this before. Kathy, Kallie and Chelsea made me feel at ease and comfortable in my abilities and encouraged me to just start, to just give it a try, and soon i was sketching away. And loving it.It was a wonderful atmosphere and a lovely setting, perfect really for cultivating new friendships and for discovering a new creativity that I wasn’t aware was there beforehand.I loved it so much I am going back to take another course this next week. When I come through the doors of Haven Place, I have the weight of the world on my shoulders. More often than not I am physically exhausted and have likely spent the drive over worrying about the thousand details of my life that are completely out of my control. I have chastised myself for skipping out on responsibilities of both home and work to attend a class when I clearly have no artistic ability whatsoever. I am beyond nervous about learning something completely out of my realm and even more so about showcasing my complete lack of ability to a room full of strangers. However, something magic happens at Haven Place. I get lost there and I am completely addicted. I don’t care what class I have signed up for (and that’s pretty much ALL of them at this point), I get lost. I forget about my body hurting and my life spinning out of control. I forget about to do lists and the multitude of things I have to accomplish when I leave. I’m just in this magic creative space surrounded by love and encouragement and acceptance. My pieces are far from beautiful but for the first time in my life, I don’t care! It is the process of learning and making art that gives me great respite and a sense of peace and calm that I haven’t found anywhere else. I’m hooked. I am a Haven Place addict.

Beautiful projects in a clean, welcoming environment, taught by ladies who really know their stuff and have a lot of fun, too. Ive gone myself and with my teenage daughters, and we had a great time. This would be a wonderful girls night out or birthday party... Id rather do this with friends than go eat somewhere.

Adorable! All of it! The atmosphere, the mother/daughter team, the classes, the items for purchase, the butter bar, all the tiny details! 👌🏽 I went solo and loved a little “me time” while meeting new people but would obviously be a good time with some pals. These ladies are a good time and class size was perfect for conversation. Excited to take my daughter to a class!

My 14 year old daughter and I took the cement planter class at Haven Place. We had a blast! In fact Ive signed up for a second class. Its a great place to meet people with like interests; plus its such an inviting and friendly environment. I kind of want to just live there :)

I first heard about this place on Instagram, and always wanted to try it out. The other night I did and loved it! I have a baby and planned to have him at home while I went to haven place. Although, I ended up having to take our baby with me and he was super fussy. Haven place was super accommodating- offering a quite place and help holding him, helping me still have a great experience. I loved how positive and welcoming the place is. Super fun and recommend to anyone.

I have enjoyed several classes at Haven Place. Each time, I learned how to make something beautiful that I loved, that I could take home. Everything was so well planned, the materials were thoughtfully prepared, and instructions were kindly and competently given so that, even though I had never done things like sketch and paint watercolor flowers or do lettering for a large sign or make a journal with fabric and beautiful paper and all sorts of beautiful ephemera (all provided for me!)...even though I had never done those things, the process was easy and so much fun! I found that others who attended felt the same way. There were quite a few people who arrived on their own, and the atmosphere is so inviting and inclusive that it was fun and relaxing and comfortable for everybody. I really can’t recommend it enough! I’ll be back!

These ladies and this shop are the best. We took the junk journaling class and had a blast! The thing that really leaves an impression is the generosity of the hearts who run this shop! Thank you Haven Place for opening a place where women can find such JOY! We loved it!!!!❤️

The whole experience was just what I needed! I felt relaxed, I was inspired, I loved the project we made, it was a cement flower pot and macrame hanger, something I’ve been wanting for a long time & now I have one I made myself! I love everything about this place! And the people there are what makes it so amazing!

I took a wonderful watercolor class from Kallie yesterday - via Zoom - and learned so much! She is a terrific teacher and she made it do-able for me since I am just starting my watercolor adventure. I am planning to sign up for another class ASAP.

The Royal Icing class was great! I tried it on my own once but wasnt sucessful. I loved that they made frosting in front of us so we know how it is supposed to look and what the consistency should be like. It was a fun evening and we got to decorate 10 cookies. After the first couple I gained confidence and went home with some amazing looking cookies. Id love to take the class with my daughter! Wonderful evening!

I recently participated in several classes at Haven Place and had a fabulous time learning new skills and connecting with great people. The space is filled with light and decorated so beautifully with areas for learning and areas for relaxing.At their Open House, I was hesitant to try a macrame project because of bad childhood memories. Kathy lovingly and patiently sat at the table and helped me create a fun memory of macrame! It won’t be my last!Kathy, Kallie, and Chelsea have created a perfect gathering place. I have signed up for new classes already and can’t wait to learn more. Thank you Haven Place!

I had the opportunity to attend a floral class with the Gypsy Petaler. It was fun, well organized, I learned some new skills and I went home with a beautiful holiday centerpiece. The Haven Place was comfortable, gave us plenty of work space and was delightful to work in. I loved every minute!
