Very Pleased....Garrett was very professional, careful and conscientious with the installation of a new dishwasher in our home. He was early for the appointment, gave us a detailed estimate and offered to review our homes other systems for us in consideration of a maintenance agreement with 24hr guaranteed response time, which was super important to us, considering todays workforce and professional services industry situation. Its a peace of mind knowing they will respond when and if we need their help, especially living in Valley Co.

I’ve been please every time Wickstrom has come out to my house. The very first time the technician wasn’t sure how to fix the problem with one of my mini splits. They had two technicians out the very next day for Specific problem. It was great I thought it would have taken much longer but they were on it! Today I had a tech come out because my mini splits were leaking. He fixed them right away. It was only about 30 min and he was finished. He was very personable and well qualified to fix my problem. The appointments were about 4 days out which is GREAT! because it’s the hottest time of the year. The men who have come over have been very knowledgeable and respectful so much that I got a service agreement for the next 3 years. I would recommend Wickstrom.

Blake gave us a quote For an additional bathroom. He was very friendly and easy to understand and work with. He’s also very knowledgeable and reminded us of things that we had forgotten were needed.We enjoyed our time with Blake so well we are really hoping he does all of the work that will be done in August. I was pretty excited at the idea of a add-on bathroom but after speaking with Blake getting a quote, I’m really excited can’t wait.We have used Wickstrom plumbing in the past, we needed a shut off valve, were quoted by other companies that would cost more and take more time. Our tub had been clogged in the place Ive been renting from Aloha for a good while. Seems as though they let the parts corrode for much too long. Blake came over and took a look, then came back the next week with the proper tools and time, and fixed it right up. Replaced the drain plug which was ruined and the pipes as well. Tub drains perfectly now, and our new drain and plug look great. He even went so far as to explain to me how to unclog the drain in the future by using the plug properly. Very much appreciated work. Tom Farmer of Wickstrom Plumbing-Heating-Cooling was our plumber today. I would give his level of service an A+. We had two leaky faucets, one of which needed to be totally replaced and another that needed a new part put in. His care to wear foot coverings in the house was an appreciated courtesy as we just had new carpets put in. He did an excellent job of replacing the faucet in a cramped space and took care to put the pieces of the vanity back together. He made quick work of replacing the part in the kitchen sink. He was very professional, courteous and willing to answer questions and provide information to better care for our plumbing.

My husband and I woke to a leaking water heater and no hot water. After several phone calls in the early morning, Wickstrom was the best in customer service and response! I have used Wickstrum plumbing twice for plumbing work because they have a contract with homeserve, an insurance provider. My first use of their services was for a broken water line inside my house. They allowed the water line to leak for 3 straight weeks because they were too busy to do the work. I just kept calling every few days to see when they would come out. By the time they finally got around to replacing the lines, they did some work that was not covered and billed me without telling me before starting work that there was an additional charge. On the second occasion using them, they were brought out because of a broken water line. The technician showed up and didnt wait for me to arrive. The next day they also gave me 5 minutes notice to meet with the technician - fortunately my husband was waiting on site this time. Technician spoke with the city water and reported completely incorrect information to plumbing insurance provider, thereby nullifying my insurance reimbursement. When I tried to speak to Helen about the situation, she would make no move to correct the information or help us. It was quite clear she didnt give a hoot about my renters or me. So disappointed in this company. The technician left without us understanding that he wasnt coming back - on a Friday afternoon.

Our water heater failed over the weekend. I called Wickstrom and Helen was so helpful and got us on the schedule for first thing Monday morning. Blake showed up on time, assessed the situation and provided multiple options to choose from. We ended up going with a new tankless water heater and are loving it. Incredible service from the time of the first phone call. I had called my insurance company on Sunday after finding out that my water bill was so high since last September (now Jan). I had surgery so didnt pay attention to water bill since on auto pay. Insurance said they would have someone call Monday am. Got call 8:30 am Monday from Helen (incredible personality that emanates wanting to help you). Helen kept me up to date on all service calls for 2 days until job was done. Technicians Cody, Colton and Max explained each step in the process and had the leak located and fixed in 26 hours from the first visit. Very knowledgeable, informative and made me feel secure in their work. There was was a mammoth of tree roots from a very large tree. Max is a master with an excavator. They cleaned up my yard and did it all while it was raining. I would recommend them for any size job. Greatest staff of people I have worked with.

I contacted Wickstrom to help with a residential water expansion tank that ruptured and caused a leak. I called and left a message and they returned my call quickly and was able to get my problem handled by early afternoon. The tech was very knowledgeable and professional and he explained the process. Had Wickstrom install a much-needed French Drain in my backyard. Max, Kody, and Colton busted tail getting this accomplished, and even took progress pictures along the way. I had a leak in my upstairs bathtub drain and needed a Plumber immediately, the first two places were booked out for two weeks, I called Wickstrom at 3:00 pm Wednesday, they offered to send someone out that day, I opted to have them come out the next day at 9:00 am. I liked Tom who installed heater, he did a good job. Wickstorm Co. should have two guys working together. He installed a 50 gallon tank on his own. I hate to see his back go bad lifting a large and heavy tank. He had to go out and get parts during installation. He stated his company is getting him a new truck so can have all parts and vent tubings; so he does not have to use just a F250 Pickup. 50 gallon water heater was $2028, includes city permit and inspection. It looks good, and very happy with work done. Showed me how to start water heater.

I will start by saying Helen who coordinates there jobs is amazing, she always calls to let you know when the crew is on theway to your house and is personable and very kind and professional. I have used this company many times for water leaks. Garret is the head man taking over the company that his dad started, he is very goodat getting everyone to work in harmony on the job and knows how to fix every issue I had including fixing a sprinkler wiring issue I had. I will say all the guys were on the ball and hard workers. On one huge job they did for me they had to reroute my main water line and I want to thank Colton , ,Chance and Garret, they had to come out a couple times to fix different issues and backed up the problems at no charge, so they totally stand behind there warranty, I will refer them to anyone who needs plumbing done. We converted from an electric stove to a gas stove. This required running a gas line from our furnace to the kitchen underneath the floor in a tight and dirty crawlspace. Blake did a perfect job in a total time of less than 4 hours.R B

I could not be more disappointed in my experience with Wickstrom Plumbing. Despite a two-page letter outlining service quality concerns and a lengthy phone call to discuss with the owner they took zero accountability or ownership for their actions at my home. A very frustrating and sad experience, just a real bummer, I will not be doing business with this outfit again.Update: Blame the insurance company? At least you are consistent in deflecting blame. You told me I was not your customer despite invoicing me $1400.00 for work not covered by insurance. The insurance company wasn’t performing work on my property, you were! Wickstrom failed to communicate the scope of work to me and offer me options for a quality job. I get jaw drops whenever I share pictures of your handy work with family, friends and neighbors. Unacceptable to connect a brand-new water line to 91-year-old pipe corroded and clogged pipe. You then had the audacity to quote me another $1100.00 to make a proper connection, work that took exactly 45 minutes to complete. You should be ashamed!

Wow over priced for service. I was charged $79 call out fee $77 inspection fee. Then they replaced a toilet line from the tank to the floor and charges $151. The part is $15 at Lowe’s and Home Depot. Very disappointed and would not recommend service work from them. Check out other plumbers before using them. They took off a small section of dry wall and did not repair. This is not included in the price.I was also quoted $350 to change a $50 thermostat for the heater.The technician was good and professional but I would not recommend unless you like throwing your money away.

Our AC stopped working on Saturday evening, July 8. We immediately put a call into Wickstrom and, much to our surprise, their amazing office manager, Helen, quickly responded. She definitely went above and beyond by scheduling a service call for the next morning. That was Sunday, folks! When does that happen! Right on time, Sunday morning, Chance arrived and diagnosed the problem. He made a trip back to the shop to check for the replacement part which, unfortunately, wasnt available. He promised to get the part first thing the next day and assured us someone would be out Monday morning. True to all their words, Chris and Ryan showed up right on time, replaced the part and had us cooling our house in no time. Kudos to Helen, Chance, Chris and Ryan for their response to our crisis and for handling it with the utmost professionalism and kindness. We want their management team to know how great they are and that we will be forever Wickstrom customers!

Wickstrom was engaged by HomeServe to repair the leaking main water line between the meter and the house. The work included 1) identifying the leak location, 2) excavating to the leak location, 3) replacing the leaking section of pipe, 4) backfilling the excavations (including tamping the backfill soil around and above the pipe), and 5) cleaning up the work area. Since the leaking section of pipe was located under the driveway slab, two excavations were made to the pipe elevation. The pipe section between the excavations (about 20-foot length) was replaced using a trenchless technique. The work was performed promptly and efficiently.A significant snag occurred when the water line was flushed after the repair was completed. In short, the water line was flushed using the nearest outside hose bib. The soil material which found its way into the repaired water line consisted of fine to coarse sand. The sand in the flushing water jammed the hose bib so it could not be completely opened or closed. Luckily, I had a threaded cap to prevent the hose bib from continuing to run. I was assured that Wickstrom would repair/fix the hose bib; to be completed at a later date by one of the inside plumbers.It turned out the inner parts of the hose bib were so full of sand they could not be freed up. Therefore, the Wickstom plumbers replaced the entire hose bib. It is noted that the service call and hose bib replacement was completed with no charge to me.In appreciation, I would like to thank Kody and Max (water line replacement) and Garrett and his partner (hose bib repair/replacement) for their professional work.

My water heater went out on a Friday. Called and spoke with Helen in the office she was amazing! Very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure someone got out to replace the water heater so we would have warm water. The technician, Chance showed up no more than an hour later and explained the process to me and then got to work. Less then an hour later we had a new water heater! The service is amazing and will use them for all my plumbing needs!

They were able to come within the week for some non-emergency repairs and did a great job. Even called ahead to confirm details on parts so they could come prepared. I’ll use them again when needed.

We had them come out due to a leak into our basement. We were fine with the trip fee of $80, and my husband had already isolated where the leak was, so the diagnosis part only took a few minutes. The guy that came out said the leak was in a place where some of the duct work would need to be moved, and he was not qualified to do it. He quoted us around $1450, and I agreed to it because I thought it must be a huge job. The guy who did show up to do it, fixed it in three hours with about $50 worth of pipe. No duct work done. My husband is also a tradesman and instructor in a different field. He is quite good at even complicated home repairs, and was quite certain he could have fixed it. He said it would have likely have taken him two days, not the three hours the technician took, but he could have done it. However, my husband does not make $700 per day, so it would have been a win for us. We tried to contact the owner but could not get past the office manager. We explained to her that we were not demanding a refund but, instead, wanted to let him know our dissatisfaction with their billing model. We requested a call back from the owner, and she said she would pass it along. We never heard back. We own a 70 year old home. Without a doubt, it will not be the last plumbing issue we have. We will not use Wickstrom again. In this economy, it probably doesnt matter to them. There will be downturns in the future and they lost a customer who can weather them. And all our friends.ETA: The day after this review, we did speak to the owner, and they did seem genuinely concerned over the issue. He offered several times to refund part of the bill as he said he felt we were overcharged. Ultimately, we did accept his offer, with thanks. He also stated that would do some retraining with his staff so that this sort of mix up did not happen again. My husband and I are pleased with the outcome.

Everyone at Wickstrom was prompt and professional. From Helen in the office to Chance who was first on the scene to Kody, Kameron, Max and Jake who did the digging and repair work, everyone was professional and did great work. We had an underground water service line leak and fortunately had the leak guard protection that is offered through Suez. When I called in to report the problem to the leak guard people I received a call from Wickstrom before I had even hung up from reporting my claim. All total from report to finished job was less than one week. I’m a contractor and I can tell you this essentially instant. I can’t recommend Wickstrom enough. Even if you don’t have leak guard protection and just need a plumber I would recommend them. They are straight shooters and not looking to retire off every job they do. Thanks again to everyone at Wickstrom and I look forward to working with you in the future.

The owner of Wickstrom called me after the job was completed to discuss the situation that happened with the house water valve. He said he would cover the cost and installation of the new ball valve because of the plumber tightening the gate valve to tight and requiring a new one to be installed. I appreciated this very much but thought it would be fairer to split the cost. The plumber installed a new and easy to turn ball valve which took 2 hours of hard work. I thank Mr Wickstrom for contacting me in order to find a resolution to this situation and sending me a check for half the cost of the valve and installation. This is truly good customer service. In passing, my house is only 27 years old, built in 1991, not 50 years old as stated in the owners response. Im very satisfied with the outcome and the work completed at my home.

The service people are skilled and professional and everyone in the entire organization is super super nice-you see a lot of their service vehicles here in the north end of Boise because theyre good. Had a tech come out and fix our AC, He had it up and running in no time, considering the cost of repairs and the age of our unit (22 years) he suggested that his supervisor come out and give the system a thorough evaluation to see what could be done to ensure longevity and increase efficiency.The Supervisor came and examined the whole system, his words to ensure the technician was honest and thorough. He checked everything, wrote his own findings and then asked to compare them to the first technicians. and they were almost the same. He actually recommended ways we could save by doing one repair that would solve two!! He made his recomendations on what we could do to save for the future. We had to basically extract what the cost of new was from him!! i guess he didnt want to be pushy but we didnt want to dump more money in ours. He figured the best size system for our home, and presented us with a Carrier System that matched our needs and home. HE EVEN TOOK THE MONEY THAT WE HAD SPENT PREVIOUSLY OFF OF THE COST!!!! That was HUGE for us.In short we are going new, we had 8 different companies come, and not one had the guarantees, and overall quality and assurances with our purchase to back up the guarantees. Its nice having someone that cares about doing the right thing. We highly recommend this company, If you arent calling them you are wasting your money!!!!

Our water heater pilot light wasnt staying lit. They came out and told us we needed a whole new water heater and it was going to be @ $3000 depending on what kind we wanted. After paying them $70 just to come out, I googled the problem and replaced a $10 part myself. Water heater has been working GREAT. We have used wickstrom several times in the past, but after this Im not sure if we will again.

I am a Senior Citizen and I have had Wickstrom Plumbing Heating and Air to my home many times. It is not easy for Seniors to trust just any one out there and in there home. I have always felt very comfortable with there Technicians. I have had Chris, Bruce, Chance and Brad. I have had my furnace and air conditioner replaced along with my water heater and other repairs done to my home. They are the only company that I will call.

I would like to take a moment and thank Wickstrom Plumbing for their service. I had a leak that a previous plumber was paid to fix, but didn’t. The previous plumber told me to lawyer up when I asked them resolve the issue. In the meantime, I hired Wickstrom Plumbing to fix what the previous plumber failed to fix. Tom, the Service Technician was friendly and good to work with. He fixed my problem in half a day. The previous plumber spent 2 plus days (never fixed the problem) and charged me double what Wickstrom charged. Weve used Wickstrom Plumbing for years for plumbing, AC, heating and natural gas line extensions. They always do a great job. Today our shower handle broke at the stem and required that I shut off our main water line. Dustin came out within a half hour to start fixing our issue. The price was fair and Dustin did a great job. I also appreciate their 2 year warranty on their work. Thanks again Wickstrom and Dustin!

After a no-show by another plumber we went to Wickstrom. They called us back after-hours on Friday and then came out as promised Saturday morning. Brad was really helpful, got the drain cleared quickly and also had some good advice to help prevent future drain issues.

We had a water leak between the meter and the house.When I called (late in the afternoon), I was told someone would be out early the next morning to fix the leak and that they would call the Dig Line for us so that would be taken care of before the repairs were started.They were prompt and courteous and the repair was finished before noon the next day.Thank you for fixing our leak so quickly.
