I had my gimbal all whacked out. Jim ordered a new gimbal and put it on for less than multicopter warehouse wanted to. It works great now.

The owner was extremely unciteful and very helpful unfortunately I could not get the repairs I need Due to financial constraints nonetheless nonetheless the owner took the time to go over my drone and address the components that were in need of repair and why my previous repair didnt work. And he rather than just take my money and And run like most would do , he took the time and worked out the cost of labour compared to the cost of replacing my entire gamble in camera and helped me to make a decision to just purchase a new gamble in camera rather than try to have him fix it using parts . It goes a long way when you as a business owner advise someone to go a different route then spending their money with you because thats the right thing to do . You dont find that these days and I for one full heartedly appreciate that man and his business attitude . Not only did he have my best interest in mind he said that he would help me in the future because he had an idea now what my problem was. This is a long review but I feel that he deserves Its at least a couple of sentences to describe how awesome the owner of that establishment is. So long story short take all of your repairs and all of your drones to see him at hell see him at his business which by the way is his home and residence. Not because easy only DJI Serviceman in the area but because he is the best.

Dropped off a drone for ribbon cable repair for a gimbal overload error many months ago. Picked the drone up a few months later(no fault of ATK). Took it home and just now wanted to film; however, the problem with the gimbal overload still persists. Most reviews are very good for this company so my experience may be the exception.

Jim is a great guy who’s very honest. He fixed my drone and the wait was mostly on parts being shipped. I’ve asked about doing my own repairs and he’s always been encouraging and kind while also offering his service. That’s unheard of in most industries. I highly recommend ATK drone.

Amazing service. Ran my drone by his home yesterday and he took the time to go over everything with me and helped me diagnose what was happening with my image feed. I sent my drone in for repair. Jim went above and beyond, and took care of me .He fixed and replaced my upper and lower shell of my Phantom 4 ,that had cracks in it. When he was done he did it extensive testing and even did a test flight for me. Then he sent it back .I was blown away with his work .The Drone looked brand-spanking-new. what Im getting at is this guy knows how to fix drones, and he does not cut corners .I highly recommend him if you need drone work done he is the man :-)

ATK Drones has given me excellent service at an excellent price. Jim has always been willing to share his knowledge with me and helped me out more than once with troubleshooting on my Phantom 4. His service has been very timely and I feel confident that he will do everything in his power to get me back in the air as promptly as possible.

Great drone repair and worked with my fast needs

Very wonderful and plait to deal with. My inspire had been down for eight months I was very reluctant to mail it to Colorado or Florida to have it repaired. one day I check my local listings found ATK was so happy to be able to take it to someone local. Turn around time was about a week most of that was waiting for DJI to send parts. I received a voicemail and a detailed email with what exactly was wrong with my drone and what was repaired amazing fast services.

Great service! Hes a really nice guy and knows what hes doing. I flew my drone into a tree... twice... and messed up the gimbal pretty good. He was able to repair it at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately, but gladly, Im sure that I will definitely be back.

This review is in the making, I look forward to posting more as I experience the customer service posted by others.I crashed my MavicPro pretty good braking all 4 props and my camera was dangling, I sent the company a Text and picture to see if it was something they could fix a few moments latter was informed it was a YES. Im putting them to the test. more to come soon...Drone was fixed like new and needed a little extra love after he was able to look over the drone. I was completely satisfied and happy with the repair.

I have know Jim for over a year now and he has given me excellent service and more free knowledge about the hobby than anyone. ATKDrones has repaired 6 cameras for me and all were repaired and returned in a timely manner and worked perfectly. I highly recommend ATKdrones and will use them for all my repairs in the future. Absolutely the best! I cannot recommend ATK Drones and Jim enough. I was in a professional bind, had a fried gimbal on my Mavic Pro, and it was back in working order within a few hours. Fantastic communication, responsiveness, and professionalism.

I had the best experience with ATK drones. Jim called me back after I called him about some problems I had taking pictures with my Phantom 4. After hearing about the problem, he gave me some advice over the phone that led to an easy fix. He was very knowledgeable, kind and patient. He never pushed for me to come in and pay a diagnostic fee once he realized that I could fix my drone without coming in.

This guy is a genius and a life saver! We crashed a drone on a job that wasnt ours and he fixed it perfectly and even offered a rush fee to get it done as soon as possible. I hope I dont crash any more drones but if I do Im always gonna call this guy!

2nd Time There I am satisfied :)

I want to preface this by saying I believe the other 1 star review here about ATK keeping a drone and scamming a customer is a fake review. Having worked with Jim I can tell he is genuinely a good person and means well for his clients.That being said however, I would caution anyone considering bringing their drone here. Ill share my experience beginning on March 21st, when I dropped my Mavic Pro at ATK, choosing to go this route over sending my device back to DJI for the sake of time, as I had a vacation which I needed my drone for on May 17th.I should also point out that my drones issues were in regards to the gimbal acting funny and not properly reading the movement of the drone. Upon drop off I was told to expect lead times of 5-6 business days and a couple weeks to complete the work. As such, I called ATK exactly three weeks (21 days) later to check in, keep in mind I had not heard any updates from ATK in this time. Not only was my drone not finished, but work had not even been started on it, as my drone was mistakenly put on the waiting table. I request that work begins IMMEDIATELY on my drone, as I am frustrated at this point.A week later I call back, this time I fully expect my drone to be finished, but I have still heard no updates or anything in regards to the status of my repairs. I am again informed that he is still working on it despite it being a month after drop off. At this point, due to the lack of time, we discuss the option of simply replacing my gimbal should the other attempts at fixing the solution fail in the following week. I ask him to please hold on to a replacement gimbal until other repairs are proven ineffective.Fast forward two more weeks (6 weeks total, still no updates from ATK) and my drone is still not fixed, although attempts were made but proved unsuccessful. We agree to move forward with the gimbal replacement at which time I am informed that he no longer has any gimbals in stock, despite me asking him to hold on to one and him agreeing.At this point, I should have just gone to DJI. I felt mistreated and disrespected as a customer was about ready to just pick up my broken drone and be done with it. To help make up for the fact that it has been six weeks and my trip was just about here, he offers to swap my gimbal with a gimbal off a brand new mavic in the box. This also does not fix the issue.After six and a half weeks I pick up my drone with the same issues it had when I dropped it off. Fortunately, I was not charged anything. This is my story. I can honestly say that if you are looking for a repair shop that keeps you informed on the status of your product and completes work in an organized and timely manner, this is not the place for you.
