I had a basic oil change done. My car started leaking oil a week after my oil change. I took my car back twice to have it inspected. First time, they said it was residual oil leaking and one of the gaskets was leaking. They tightened some things and the oil started leaking worse. I took it back a second time and they couldnt figure out what was wrong so they advised to replace the whole oil pan and quoted me a very pricey quote. I took my car to another location for a second opinion and looks like things were over-torqued and warped from my oil change. A simple oil change winded up being a pricey fix.I would be careful before heading in.

Great service.The guy in the front desk was very nice. I made an appointment for an oil change and they took me right away. The check try car and said it was recommended to get a fuel injection and they said that if I wanted to do that they will give me a discount since I was doing the oil change and I did it and they a gave me a discount. I will definitely come back.

This is an excellent place to give your car that extra care that sometimes needs. The place isnt fancy nor do they have a great entertainment in their lobby. I will recommend to call someone to pick you up. Where they are excellent with is the service on your car is top notch and the price that they give you are excellent, I have ask for quotes on my tires and this place give me the best and I also buy a full brake system, axles, brake pad, rotors calipers and a battery. The only way that I can see you saving money is if you are a mechanic but other than that I recommend you coming and give them a call for a quote. My car feels so smooth and ready for a long travel.

Ive got my tires there 3 months ago, recently one was loosing air pressure and they are under warranty so I took it and since I needed to change the oil I requested both. The time went and the tire was checked but not repaired until I requested again. The attendant told me that he thought that I did not have time to wait. That was the primary reason for going there! So finally they got it done!

I booked an appointment and I arrived early and still waited 1 hour past my designated time, just for an oil change. It took 3 hours, that’s ridiculous.

I havent had any complaints about this location. They are always timely, fix any issues correctly, save dont overcharge.

The service here was above and beyond! They were really honest and all about getting us the best deal while still doing what was best for our car. I just finished a 5000 mile roadtrip around the US and had no car issues except that I replaced rear struts, tie rod ends and cv axles. I came here to check my alignment and upon leaving, my car overheated and blew coolant everywhere. When I looked, there was a 4in crack on the top of my radiator. Id just driven 5000 miles and had NO ISSUES. But as soon as I left Midas, my car needed a new radiator. I bet they left a tool on the radiator when they tried to close my hood and thats where the crack came from. Of course no one fessed up and I had to buy a new radiator. Not happy.

I ended up not going because of the timeframe of fitting me in. Know that each Midas is independently owned and the prices vary on the same service per location.

Stopped at this location while driving after I heard some metal on metal grinding with my brakes. They agreed to look at them and quoted me a time of about 15 minutes. Took about twice that long to get the car up on the rack, not a big deal. As I waited I looked up the reviews. Any positive reviews were from several years ago and the recent reviews were bad; over priced, price gouging and dishonest. Sure enough thats exactly what I got. Estimate came back at $800+ with recommendation for replacement of all brakes and rotors. As the guy showed me the worked needed, he pointed to rust on the rotors that no car that has gone through a Utah winter is without and cited it as reason for replacement. I have almost zero experience with cars and even I knew this was bogus. Told them I wasnt interested and drove to another shop I had used in the past. The result - $167.00 to replace the front brakes and machine the front rotors. NO other work needed. These guys are sketchy at best, STAY AWAY!!!

Today while driving home on the 15 my windshield fluid wouldn’t work. I had my kids and with the snow and salt I couldn’t see out of my windows, I was scared. I stopped and asked if the guys would fill up my fluid and they did, but they noticed it still didn’t work. They brought it in and found the line was broken and fixed it for no cost and sent me on my way. I was very touched by their kindness in helping me out, especially right after Christmas. They expected nothing and were so helpful. Thank you so much to the two guys who helped me out, sorry I didn’t catch your names but you saved me today!! What great, honest service.

Had some major engine work done on my f150 here. They came in at $600 less then what the dealer wanted to charge me. Merle and Thomas were both extremely helpful, and really went the extra mile to take care of me.

Not very helpful or personable. I walked in and it felt like I was bothering them by scheduling some work to be done on my car. I decided not to schedule the work. Will not be coming here again.

Relatively swift service and friendly workers. Showed me what needed to be done on top of what I was there for but they didnt pressure me into it. Which I appreciated.

This place always takes forever to get a simple job done. I brought in my car for an oil change and an emissions inspection and because they wouldnt honor two coupons on one visit, I just did the inspection. Hour later Im still sitting here and I even scheduled an appointment. Never coming back here.

I doubt these guys actually perform basic maintenance checks on the cars brought in. I really doubt they actually did anything to my car when they charged me for it. I brought it in for a noise which they said they couldnt replicate. I immediately replicated it when I got the car back. I took it elsewhere afterwards and they said the alternator belt was not on the track (something Midas told me they checked, they said they checked all the belts and they were fine). The other repair shop fixed it free of charge. The other repair shop also said my lights were out and fixed those. Midas mentioned nothing of them. These guys suck, avoid them.

They dont treat you like youre stupid. They take you out in the garage and show you what is wrong with that car and give you options on how to fix it. Even if it is small chunks at a time.

Said my rotors were bad and needed replaced and would cost over $400. Had them looked at and they were fine only needed new pads. Saved $380 by not having them work on my car.

They took three hours to change my oil and replace my break pads.

They have good prices BUT...I marked an appointment with them for an oil change. After one hour of waiting I was told we dont have the tools to do the oil change I though I was waiting because they were working on the change. Turns out they were an hour behind on an appointment I called in because I didnt have a lot of time and I sat there just to be told they couldnt do it and they sent me on my way after getting nothing done. For a mechanic not have the tools for an oil change really shows off the quality of the establishment...

Buyer beware! If you come here, I strongly encourage you to get a few quotes from other places. Midas quoted me $457 to replace my muffler. Went to Meineke and they quoted me $200 and they did a great job. Labor costs were about the same at both places, but parts were waaaayyy more expensive at Midas (Midas quoted $279.99 just for the muffler).

AVOID THIS SHOP!!!!! I paid over $400 for them to run diagnostics on my engine, they said they found nothing, I took it to someone else a week later and within 10 minutes they knew exactly what it was and they had it fixed within a few hours for less than $400. When I had them run diagnostics they brought out the little code reader after and told me it was just a engine misfire and that the problem was fixed, a few days later it came on again so I brought it back to have them read the code again and they told me they didnt have a code reader, they could look into it again after running diagnostics on my engine. They are dishonest and they will give you the run around! Dont do it!

Profit is definitely the main motivator here! Please do yourself a favor and get everything in writing when quoted, prices tend to climb when you do not get an exact quote in writing! I called and got an exact quote, dropped off my car for the repair came back to pick up the car and the quote had grown by over $50, when i questioned them I was told that the quote did not include tax, and shop supplies! What the heck are shop supplies??? I am told that they are for incidentals, and when i asked for them to remove the charge from the bill they refused! So you lost my future business over $15. WOW hope it was worth it!

Super friendly service and they never try to rip me off!! Ive been going to this location (about 45th S and State) for about 4 years, and although Im pretty sure its changed management recently ( I havent seen my regular technicians in there) the new guys are awesome too.

What a great shop and great service!Read the reviews and was feeling cautious. However, came in to have my breaks checked and the brake fluid after getting an oil change done at Jiffy Lube. Jiffy Lube tried to tell me that I needed to flush my brake fluid because the water content was at 4% and wanted to charge me $80 to flush the breaks.Well, after the staff at Midas did their complementary checks, they informed me that my brake fluid was fine, that theres a wasnt any contamination of my fluid. They even let me know of all the manufacturer services that were coming up.There was no up selling or up charging of anything and I walked out of there without paying anything and given a smile and hand shake.Ill be coming back here for my future vehicle needs!Thanks Midas!

Dude told me they didn’t have air!! My tire was loosing air and I just asked if he could fill some air so I could drive somewhere that could help me because He told me there was no way they could patch it in the 3 hours left in the work day. The place was completely empty. Unreal what a jerk that guy was.

Asked if i could get a quote on my car for an alignment and brake check, well they said to file a request online and send a email so they can get back to me in 24 hours. Well its been 72 hours so far and i even called and left them a email stating im waiting for a request stilll nothing....imagine if i was on the phone waiting, my phone bill would be crazy big

They suck and are ripe offs they gave me a price for both brakes front and back they said toatle price 375$Per axleI call today and asked them how much for both and they said 375 per axle they can shove it up there assSo much for riches offer of 175 per axle rich is the mannger there they are faurds I went to the dealer and did both front and back for 250 $ thats for everything labor and parts

Dont do it guys.I didnt even make it to the point of getting serviced. I went up to the door where the hours were clearly marked as closing at 7 pm. An associate met me at the door and rudely told me they were closed. When I asked why, since there was supposed to be a full hour before they closed, he told me in a very contemptuous tone The boss has stuff to do. There was no notice on the door to alert me or anyone else to the fact they were closing early. He was incredibly disrespectful and rude our entire 2 minutes of knowing each other but thats alright I can take business elsewhere. I dont trust a company to work on my car when I cant even trust the hours on their damn sign and I get yelled at for it.

I thought they did a great job on my Jetta and I also felt the price was fair in comparison, as I shopped arund.

Accidentally overcharged me by about $75 then said oh... glad you caught that. Yea, I caught that. Jerk. Didnt even fix what I came in for. Just shady in general, makes me question what else was actually done.

Went here to have a crankshaft position sensor replaced on my car, they did what was asked, but the price was higher than what was quoted over the phone, also their waiting room smelled like stale cigarette smoke, I will go back since they replaced the sensor as I asked and didnt demand to do their own diagnosis
