Carriage Lane Inn hosted our wedding reception in May 202, and they did a PHENOMENAL job!! Molly was an incredible wedding planner, and worked with us on every detail to make our wedding as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. She thought of everything we didnt know we needed, and we couldnt think of her service any higher. Thanks to Carriage Lane Inn, our reception went smoothly and everyone had a blast. The food provided by their caterer was also AMAZING. My family and I also stayed on the propertys hotel, and had a wonderful time. Everything was clean and lovely. I cant recommend them enough!!

I wanted a place to stay with my adult children where we each had our own space and common areas to share. The Carriage Lane Inn was perfect! Location is amazing, so much to walk to and Nashville is just a short drive away. The owner was so helpful getting us booked and having the place ready when we arrived. Very clean and all the amenities we needed and then some. I highly recommend!!

We just had our wedding at Carriage Lane Inn this weekend and everything was perfect! We stayed in the East TN room the night before then me and my bridesmaids got ready there the next day. Molly, the manager, came over multiple times to check on us, take things over for the ceremony & reception, and make sure we were on schedule and informed of everything! The garden was beautiful for our ceremony! My reception tables were exactly what I wanted. The food was AMAZING! We had several “picky eaters” in attendance who ate food they “never eat”! Victoria & Molly made my day as stress free as possible! I truly felt like once I had all my decor and items on site they took care of the rest- all I had to do was get dressed and down the aisle on time! Overall, it was a perfect day! I would recommend that any bride-to-be, or anyone planning a special event,consider CLI for their special day!

Molly and Victoria made our wedding day so beautiful and memorable. Even faced with some obstacles, they managed everything so professionally. They went above and beyond to make our special day better than we thought it would be. They both make it so your are not stressing about all the details. All throughout the reception, Molly was constantly making sure everything was happening the way it should be and checking to make sure we had everything we needed. The venue is so gorgeous and we are so happy we got to have our special day there.

We stayed in the 3-bedroom Cottage this past week and celebrated Christmas with our immediate family. The Cottage was a great place to do it. It is decorated well, has a great atmosphere, and the staff (Victoria and Molly) are very helpful. We had our oldest sons wedding rehearsal dinner in the actual Carriage Lane Inn exactly 4 years ago, and the staff was incredible then, too.

We just had our wedding there in October and just loved the entire setup. They have houses onsite that were able to accommodate his family from out of town while the wedding party stayed in the house next door. Victoria and Molly went above and beyond our expectations to provide us with the experience to make our day stress free, enjoyable and memorable. I would highly recommend this place if youre looking for a moderately sized wedding with little to no stress. We couldnt be more grateful for all of the work they put in to make our day special.

My sons and my new daughters wedding was absolutely amazing. Very friendly, helpful service and the food was great too. I highly recommend. Oh, and the house where they have the service is extremely beautiful.

The wedding I attended was a hit. The building is located in a residential neighborhood. Nice looking place. Bathroom smelled of mold. Bathroom faucet leaked. And some strict rules pertaining to alcohol. I would fix the bathroom issue before renting out to future couples.

Id advise folks to consider other options than Carriage Lane. My wife and I were set to have our reception at the end of the month. Despite the prohibition on social gatherings of more than 10, they informed us that we could either have the reception at the end of the month (while respecting social distancing guidelines) or we lose our deposit if we canceled. Oh and as a small business, theyre not in a place to refund deposits. What a crock. People should think twice before working with this business.

When in Murfreesboro, this place is an absolute must.Just had a Birthday Party here today! What a beautiful place to go! Oh my goodness.. the food is absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to go back.The venue is under new management and they have just remodeled the entire place. It’s absolutely beautiful.Did I mention that The food was amazing?BTW... the staff was absolutely fantastic. They were so friendly and helpful. They were willing to work with us and allowed us any of their open dates in case we had to move the event date. Thankfully we were able to hold the event today, but it was great to see how willing they were to work with us.As I said, When in Murfreesboro, this place is an absolute must!

Victoria was wonderful. Check in was quick and painless. It was not like a hotel and had to coordinate with her when we arrived. The room we stayed at had a king bed and the ceilings were tall. My wife enjoyed the jetted bathtub. We did receive coupons for breakfast at a place in Murfreesboro. Seemed like a meat and 2/3 kinda place. Pancake was huge. Biggest pancake I have seen. I had the chicken fried chicken for lunch and was really good. For some reason it is hard to find that than the chicken fried steak. If there has to be a knock, it would be the bed. Not what I am used to in modern beds. It was older, but did the job for one night. Otherwise, I recommend for a getaway night or if you had a large family coming into town to accommodate.

The owner was so sweet and helpful. She was very accommodating to us. This place was everything we hoped it would be for our little anniversary get away. It was very clean and quiet. The decor was very comfortable. This is a great place to unwind and get away from the bustle of everyday life. I highly recommend this establishment!

We booked out both the cottage and main house when we hosted a wedding (90 guests) at the Carriage Lane Inn over Labor Day Weekend. It was absolutely perfect! All the guests staying there (about 20 including kids) traveled from Hawaii for the wedding, and they loved the porch swings, grill, fireflies, and proximity to everything. Victoria and her team created the most wonderful wedding for us, I wouldnt change a thing. I dreamed of a backyard wedding but wanted an indoor space for dinner. The Carriage Lane Inn was just the spot for it. The food was amazing, coordination amazing, bar service amazing and the DJ she hired for us was amazing! I wish I could go back in time and relive the whole weekend again, but Im thankful for all the amazing memories we have thanks to Victoria & team.

Quant place for a small wedding

This place was fantastic. Went to town for a conference. The folks who arranged the conference obtained a group rate at a hotel, but the prices at the Carriage Lane Inn were much better. We were very pleased with our room, bathroom and the common areas / living room and kitchen. It was easy to find, and close to our venue.

Very cozy, clean, and quiet. Very sweet family that runs the inn. Would love to come back and visit again. Perfect for a little get away.

My sister just had her wedding here and the woman who hosted us was incredibly gracious. She took wonderful care of my sister when she had an issue with her dress and did not rush us even though we took a bit longer than we intended. Beautiful place and wonderful people!

Our wedding was amazing and Victoria and her family did everything possible to make the day special! The food was fantastic and having a wedding coordinator working with you as you plan your day gave us more time to enjoy the moments instead of worrying about the details. We had several guests rent out their properties and they couldnt stop talking about how lovely the accommodations were!

The Carriage Lane Inn is the perfect venue for any event. The home we stayed in was spacious yet quaint and has a lot of character. The decor is very fitting although some normal wear and tear may need a little extra love and attention. IE: wallpaper starting to peel. Every room has a high ceiling and country charm. The area the inn is located is nice and family friendly. The event center was just as quaint and charming. I would recommend this to anyone who loves sharing their life moments with close friends and family.

Attended my sisters wedding here and it was lovely. The coordinator was very friendly and very helpful. The catered dinner for the rehearsal was delicious. The bridal party got suites for the day to get ready and the accommodations were very good. The wedding garden and reception area were beautiful and the staff was excellent. I would definitely recommend them.

As a service provider (DJ and Photography) I can say that this place is great! The food is always great, the staff and owners are easy to work with, and if you are looking for a wedding venue, seriously consider this place!

I initially wanted my wedding on a big farm in a barn and so on but after discovering how insanely expensive weddings are we went with the bride on a budget venue. I had my wedding at this beautiful venue on October 4, 2014 and I could not have asked for more. First off, the staff, Victoria and Sam, were remarkable. I know I probably emailed them every week with my annoying bride questions but they took the time and got back with me almost immediately. Day of they set all my decorations up better than I could have asked for. They truly went above and beyond my expectations. (and being a bride I had some pretty high expectations.) My bridesmaids and I got ready in the VIP suit that day which generally wouldnt have been ready until 3pm, but they did everything they could to get us in by 12:30 and it was a success. That night my groom and I stayed in the same suit and enjoyed the evening as a married couple. The day went smoothly and I owe them a huge THANK YOU for that. Any other venue Im sure would have been nice but I would not have gotten the service they provided and I am SO happy with everything they did for us.

We just held our corporate retreat here and it could not have gone better! The new owners had just taken over a week before our trip. They emailed us to give us a heads up and were proactive in making sure they met all of our needs.We rented out all three houses and had use of the Reception House for all of our meetings and training. We also had them cater our breakfasts and lunches. It was so nice to walk out of our back doors and walk the few feet to the Reception Hall for our meetings.There wed be greeted by a wedding style buffet breakfast setup in one room, formal dining for us in another, and perfect U-shape tables in our meeting room. They had the table cloths, chairs, water, projector and screen all ready for us in just amount we needed. We didnt even use the big reception room. After our meetings, it was so nice to just step to the next room and have our lunch buffet waiting ... and one of the days we were served lunch in the dining room.For a maiden voyage for the new owners, they did beyond exceptional. Theyll make it every better Im sure as they get their feet under them. Bravo and definitely recommend this to any other corporate retreats.We usually dont do the same spot again from year to year... but it might be tempting to break that rule and come back for the pure convenience and value!

Loved it. I stayed in the fireside room. It was charming, clean, and quaint. It is not upscale or posh but very comfortable. I felt safe and the inn keeper was kind and helpful. I will stay here again in the future.

Beautiful rustic interiors and a very nice receptionist. The meal vouchers for the cafe were nice and the breakfast there was cooked fast and the omelette was loaded with vegetables (I had the Western and it was a little light on the meat). I would recommend it to couples that dont enjoy the typical hotel feel and are looking for something a little warmer.

Went to my brother-in-laws wedding, it was a very pretty venue, we had a great time, but you could definitely tell there were some communication errors in play. Wedding started at 4, the beer, wine, and alcohol were still sitting on the floor at 2:45, instead of on ice so it would be chilled for the cocktail hour... and a few small things that didnt seem to flow well. But other than that, I think as long as you come in and tell them what to do it would be a great venue.

This place was wonderful. The setting is in a quiet residential neighborhood 2 blocks from downtown. The mattress was so comfortable and the house was extremely clean. Worth the drive from Nashville. Will definitely stay again.

This place never fails to delight us. Its our favorite place to stay when we visit the area. Its homey atmosphere is always welcoming, and makes us feel as though we are among family. Anyone looking for charm and comfort in their accommodations will find it here.

The service was friendly and warm. The room was spotless and the bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable. I wanted to offer to buy it from her on the spot! We had the room with the jacuzzi tub and it was wonderful. Would definitely come back and stay again.

Went here for Mothers Day with my mom as a gift. The place was charming but could use a little love. I feel like with a little yard work, pressure washing on the outside and new paint and décor to the rooms it would be lovely. The girl who checked us in was very nice and the owner answers her phone when I had any questions, and came over when I couldnt get the door unlocked. It is a good price for the stay.

Beautiful spot to have an event such as a wedding. The staff was very friendly and efficient and the event seemed to be done well. The setting was very pretty and the area well shaded but still enough light to see and photograph well. I believe it would likely also be a nice place to stay the night.

Our one-night stay in the yellow house was delightful. We made coffee in the kitchen and drank it on the upstairs porch sitting in the treetops with the birds singing their morning tunes. And then Darrell served the greatest breakfast ever. That was the highlight of our trip to Tennessee. We would recommend new pillows for the Peri room.

My family rented the Yellow house and the Blue house. We were celebrating my birthday and we were coming from several directions and this was the central location. My sister talked to Sharon via email and phone and we got all our details worked out. We just loved having full run of the houses and loved the upper balcony of the yellow house, which we sat out there both nights and had a wonderful time. We loved the kitchens and the use of the reception hall, since we were able to cook our own suppers and breakfasts. None of us were ready to leave on Sunday and have decided we had such a great time, that we are all ready to go back. Great place for family gatherings!! We highly recommend it.

This was a perfect location for a little weekend get-away. Its in a quiet neighborhood and is very quaint, but with all modern conveniences. The inn keepers are very friendly and made us feel welcome. Its close to shopping and restaurants. We highly recommend this to anyone who wants something different than a chain hotel.

It was a perfect little venue for a wedding. Parking was a breeze, and even though it seems small, there was enough space for 120+ people. Absolutely PERFECT! 10/10

My sisters & I stayed in the MAin Inn for a girls weekend getaway. The inn was exactly as shown on the website. It was very beautiful! We had a wonderful time, and truly enjoyed having the entire house to ourselves. There was a minor glitch with the fireplaces not being ready for use(it got very chilly during our stay, and the house was very chilly), but the situation was resolved within a short period of time, and we were able to enjoy the warmth of the fireplaces. Overall, I would highly recommend a stay at Carriage Lane Inn. It is very close to downtown Tennessee, and there are plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance.Thanks, Sharon, for the use of your wonderful facilities!

Both Nancy and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay (albeit brief) at the Carriage Lane Inn in Murfreesboro. The Carriage Lane Inn was comfortable, the room delightful, and the Inn was within easy walking distance of downtown. We enjoyed dinner very much at a location recommended by the hosts and, quite frankly, wish we had planned to spend more time exploring the town. We will definitely plan to stay again.

These are renovated older homes that are nicely decorated, very clean, and very comfortable. The staff is pleasant and helpful and the location is great. Yes, breakfast is off site, but we knew that from the start. The cafe was as charming as the Inn. I will stay here again.

My son had his wedding on December 14, 2013 at Carriage Lane Inn, it was beautiful. Owner and staff were very friendly and helpful during the process of planning and at the actual event. They kept everything on schedule for the wedding. Love the old houses there on the property. My husband and I will be going back to stay in the VIP suite here very soon. This is the perfect spot for meetings, weddings or just a getaway (even if you live in the Boro) for an affordable price. Thanks to all for our great event.

My husband and I stayed at Carriage Lane Inn during a recent trip to Nashville. While it was a little bit of a drive to Nashville, we would certainly recommend the Carriage Lane Inn to others. Our room (Garden View Room) was clean and spacious. The balcony overlooking the garden was especially nice and the room included a private bath with a Jacuzzi tub. There was a TV and a sofa in the room and the WiFi was quick enough to stream video.The inn was very quiet and there was a pretty garden area right outside as well as several public rooms including a full kitchen and dining room. The inn was within walking distance of Main Street and while there wasnt a ton of dining in that area, we did have an excellent meal at The Alley on Main.Since we were on a sightseeing trip, we did enjoy that we were given gift cards to a local restaurant rather than having a meal served on site. This service made it easier to get going in the morning while still enjoying breakfast.Highly recommend!

We had our office Christmas luncheon there today. Working with the new owner, Victoria, was very easy and she went above and beyond our expectation and catering needs. The menu was perfect, the was delicious, the service was excellent and the room was decorated absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend this venue for your next event!

We were here for a weekend to celebrate my brothers 50th birthday. We rented the Yellow House and the Blue House. It was a lovely and fun weekend. We spent most of the time just hanging out and visiting on the balcony of the Yellow house. There were many laughs! For us, it was great - we are great at entertaining ourselves! We cooked our own breakfast, made homemade pizza one night - we didnt mind not having breakfast made for us. We enjoyed having the full run of the houses and the neighborhood was very peaceful and felt very safe. We had some younger kids with us and they loved being able to run around - much nicer than a hotel room. We will definitely look into this again as it is a central location for our families to meet up!

Perfect place for our wedding. Victoria was amazing.I am revising my original 5 star rating to 3 stars for several reasons. 1. Directly outside the bridal suite is where someone smokes regularly and there are cigarette butts everywhere. 2. Artificial flowers were put out all over the garden where the ceremony took place. My bridesmaids were out there taking them down before guests started arriving. I was very specific in the decor and it did not include artificial flowers. 3. The bartenders were rude to many guests in different friend and family circles. The first time someone said something I thought it was an isolated event. Then the more people I spoke to, the more I was told they had been treated rudely by the bartenders.4. The emcee, provided by CLI, messed up the songs and order of our dances.On a positive note, the food was delicious and the reception hall was decorated perfectly. Im not sure how long Victoria and her husband have owned CLI, hopefully they will work out the kinks.

We are repeat visitors. Every time weve come we have enjoyed the comfortable accommodations and superb service. The quiet, peaceful charm and homey atmosphere adds to the feeling that were part of the family. We look forward to staying here again.

Our group of twelve ladies stayed there for a girls weekend. The staff was friendly, helpful and easily available for our needs. Murfreesboro is a busy town with plenty of dining and shopping choices. Our group mostly relaxed, spent time visiting with one another, shopping, and enjoying the spring weather. Carriage Lane Inn was the perfect location for that! We will stay there again!

Quaint little secret of Murfreesboro, this small venue could be more fully decorated and professionally staffed. One certainly doesnt expect a guy in a ratty t shirt and pink Crocks to be opening champagne at a wedding. Lol

Great hospitality from Victoria and Darrell! The inn is so comfortable with a historical touch ! They do events as well for almost any event .

First, Victoria and Darrell took ownership about two years ago and you can tell they both have had experience in this industry in the way the Inn is run and quality of what they offer. Here is a place you will want to look at and there should be no need to look further. As with most groups, those who came together for this dinner event, came from all over the United States and Canada. Obviously they come from different backgrounds, are of different ages and have their own unique tastes, etc. So when I tell you the everyone raved about the food, the facility and the presentation it is quite a compliment. In addition, everyone loved the atmosphere/ambiance and privacy the facility and surroundings provided. The setting is very unique and could not have been lovelier. I received far more than what was reflected in the cost. As the one responsible for the planning of this event, I know this to be a fact. I had checked into several different locations/venues such as restaurants, halls, a barn, mansions, etc and could not find one that would provide all of this, let alone priced equal to or below. First, not being from Tennessee I was surprised that finding a location that provided all of these amenities was not easy. Others required in addition to the rental fee, additional work and costs for having to go elsewhere and bring in all or in part such things as tables and seating, linens, places settings, decorations, the meals, deserts, drinks, servers, bartender, etc. One does not realize how much is involved and what is needed in preparing for an dinner/event. I also found that if I went with a restaurant or other public locations, and wanted privacy and quiet I would have had to rent a separate room for considerable money and even then, privacy and quiet was not guaranteed. Plus some items would still have to be brought in. I started down this road but it didn’t take long to realize that this was far too expensive. But, it wasn’t just the cost that prompted us to choose Carriage Lane Inn. The second important factor was the owners and their staff! Not being from the area I had to work with you on the planning of much of this event over email and by phone. During the planning stage, right up to the day of the event, I presented them with changes and/or questions which might have frazzled most. Their calm delightful personalities and professionalism did not waiver. Providing an all inclusive venue, along with tastefully creative recommendations, expertise, flexibility and warm confident personalities made the planning of this event so much easier and gave me peace of mind to know that I was in good hands.

My daughters and and I rented the cottage with my friends family of four. the cottage was suprisingly roomy with a large comfortable kitchen and roomy bedrooms. it was clean and comfortable and I Loved the decor.

Beautiful little family run bed and breakfast. I was attending an MTSU event with my son, so I stayed here while he stayed on campus. Some items, (tv, etc) were a bit dated, but I everything worked the way it was supposed to, so i have no complaints. I was very comfortable when i went to bed, but it warned up during the night, and i can only assume some other guest changed the thermostat. It might be helpful if guests were unable to access the thermostat and to just keep the house at a decent temperature. I was checking this place out as a possibility for a place to stay when i visit my son on campus during his four years as a student in Murfreesboro. I love its proximity to the campus. It will definitely be one of my go to places to stay.

Always a treat spending time at the Carriage Lane Inn. Good folks, good food, good atmosphere.

My daughters wedding had many challenges including a grooms family from Maine, elderly grandparents in attendance from out of town, and the threat of rain the day of the wedding. Somehow Victoria and Sammie, along with the rest of the staff managed to overcome them all.I spent 6 months looking for venues for the wedding. Because the grooms family was from out of town, finding a venue near lodging became of paramount importance. The beauty of The Carriage Lane Inn for us was an affordable venue that also offered affordable accommodations for the out of town guests. The financial value of the lodging simply cannot be overstressed. The grooms family went on and on about how wonderful it was for them to be able to stay in a house together with a large kitchen area for them to gather together in. It meant a lot to them to be able to spend time together in this way and several of them came early so they could also tour Nashville together. Although they all live in the Northeast, several live in different states and so dont see each other often. The Carriage Lane Inn was a great vacation venue for them as well of being affordable lodging enabling them to come and participate in the wedding as well.The day of our wedding was overcast with the threat of rain. The staff left the final decision up to us and up to the last minute. I appreciated their deference to what we wanted so much. Because of the rain, the staff decided to purchase some different decorations in order to make the inside as beautiful as the outside venue would have been (the first beyond the call of duty).Another concern was the quality of the food. Many of my friends were telling me not to expect much from the food at a wedding reception. I cant tell you how many times I was told that no one is ever happy with the food at a wedding. I set my expectations low because of other peoples warnings. Let me tell you that I was amazed at the quality and taste of the food at the reception. It was hot and delicious! Not only that, in the middle of the reception, Victoria came to me to ask how everything was. I admitted that it was all delicious, but that I didnt have any protein as I had eliminated meat from my diet for a few months. She immediately offered an alternative and then proceeded to prepare and serve it to me! This was an unexpected bonus (another part of the beyond I was talking about)!The staff at the Inn was not only helpful but friendly. Working with them was easy and fun! They truly made us feel like we were the most important item on the agenda - despite the fact that they do this week-in and week-out, I never felt like they were distracted or stressed or in any way wanted it to be over.If I had one complaint it was that the wedding coordinators were too relaxed. While they let things flow easily, they often failed to let the Bride and Groom know what to do next without being asked. I would recommend that with young couples who have not experienced many weddings themselves, they perhaps be a little more proactive in their directions during the ceremony and reception. But in spite of this one difficulty, everything flowed seamlessly and left us all with wonderful memories of a wonderful day.Many thanks to Victoria and her staff for a fantastic wedding!!

Great meeting space with good food. Parking is lacking.

I was with the group Heartsisters that had all three cottages. i was in the fun cottage. well, we had fun in all of them but we named ours. lol the dinner prepared for us was awesome. we were all getting the receipe to the poppyseed chicken. delish.we all had a great time. i loved my room, the middle tennessee room. i felt like our kitchen had that martha stewart flare. adorable. i preferred these cottages as grown up dollhouses. i just had a wonderful time. it was beautiful and i know maybe i can bring just my family down again and enjoy it. or you never know us Heartsisters may come back some day. lovely and beautiful. thank you for being a great hostess.
