Therapeutic relationships are built, not scheduled. Dr. Elysse Beasley was a vigilant confidant over the time my family worked with her and with her guidance we developed step-by-step solutions in a supportive environment. She was down-to-earth and practical in her approach and never rude or critical of our setbacks and challenges. We found her to be professional as well as compassionate in that she was able to provide comprehensive psychological testing to pinpoint the specific needs we should target. I am not familiar with other providers in her office, but this agency is a great place to start when searching for quality counseling services.

Had many sessions of counseling and the issues only got worse and i blame poor counseling. She just wanted to have you as a continuous client, take your money setup. Never had anything to take home and read or things to work on and address. She would start the sessions with what would you like to talk about today like she forgot what you asked her to address. She would forget the details that mattered too. Total waste of time and money and the counselor only made the issues worse. Do not go to Cedars if you have real issues that need to be fixed, because she needs to quit the profession.

After our third session with a therapist we will be going somewhere else. The therapist was 15 minutes late for a 30 minute session, after 15 minutes she rushes my daughter out and me and my wife in and starts to tell us for 10 minutes about the private practice she is opening and what the cost will be as there is no one else that will take children of my daughters age. Concern about helping my family with current issues was far from her mind... just wanted to share about her upcoming trip to Thailand and when we could expect her to start in home sessions. All in all, not a good experience.

I go here and see Randal Branch and am thouroghly pleased. Hes a very laid back, realistic guy. He says things that need saying, and does so in a way that just feels like a close friend giving good advice.

This is a wonderful, caring group of professionals. They have helped my family when no one else would or could. Would recommend to anyone!

I saw Bethany Malugin at Cedars Counseling from May of 2017 to October of 2018. During this time, she was (and remains) compassionate as well as professional.I would argue that through her guidance, I am more empowered now than I have been in at least a decade. She helped me determine what theraputic medical assistance would give me the most positive results and she was always present with me on this journey - a journey that, so often, is a frightening one if you have to go it alone.I never never had to worry about that, though. If you work with Bethany you will feel the careful guidance and care of a truly empathetic health provider.Alone isnt possible with someone like her on your side.I would highly recommend her to everyone.

While I liked the counselor I saw briefly here, unfortunately the unprofessional attitude that Alexis always seems to have just always makes my experience unpleasant. I finally had to quit going there. I have to agree with another review on here, that Alexis made me feel so unwelcome and like I was annoying her; I decided to go elsewhere. If you need meds they make you see there nurse. And while I sort of understand this, as Alexis is always quick to point out it’s for liability, even if all you really needed was for her to jbe at listen to you for a second and not treat you like a moron. The thing is, is their nurse is always booked months out. And they make you see her even for routine updates. And that’s 100 bucks a pop for me. AFTER INSURANCE. If you have to reschedule or screw up and miss an appointment then you’re basically screwed. When I went in to explain my situation Alexis definitely made me feel like I was being punished for missing an appointment. As stated by another review, she has an awful bedside manner. She even went as far as to lie about having called me about my appointment. I checked my call logs. She did not call me. I absolutely would not recommend going here. Unless you’re okay with dealing with all that.

My experience with Dr. Malugin has been horrible. She has no bedside manner, she makes you feel stressed, and is extremely patronizing. She was also in contact with my therapist and treated him like he was so below her because he doesnt have a medical degree. She does not understand how to talk to people with mental health issues. She only makes them worse and thinks that drugs fix everything. She is biased in her opinion about your situation which makes you stress about how to present it to her. Trust me, dont go see her if you are struggling with depression, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts.

Bethany Malugin should be retrained as a psychiatrist and should not be allowed a practice. She told my suicidal fiance that the way she was feeling was completely my fiances fault. She is unkind and has terrible bedside manner. She refused to give us a doctors note for work because she felt that she was not involved in the care of my fiance when we visited her the earliest Malugins schedule would allow. Now she wont return our calls.
