Gotta love the local hardware stores! Who needs big box stores when the local true value branded store has what you need, excellent service with a go above and beyond attitude. A simple -not to me- battery swap for my Garmin device was done in a friendly manner and done well. Thanks Haynes Hardware early AM workers!

Awesome staff very very knowledgeable, they very well could have sold me a fifty dollar part but instead sold me a two dollar part and showed me how to rebuild what I had. You cant get that kind of knowledge and service at the bigger name hardware stores.

Very bad experience, I buy a chains which is wrong chains, and I return it and ask for something else to exchange, they don’t want to do that, and they want me to buy it again what I want but not to exchange it, and they refuse to return the wrong item I buy from them, and the store manager gonna tell me if you don’t want it you can leave it here we will keep it, without refund my cash back, so rude, I tell him I rader give it away than leaving it with you what wrong with you, they are very rude to me, even I don’t ask no one because they like many in store, and they run there mouth to me when I ask who you talking to , and they shut off, how rude is that, no one go to that store if you want to be disrespected, rader go to different store,

Great place to get what you need and good selection. Folks should go there if they want to save time for sure. If you live on the north side of town it will save you at least 20 minutes versus Lowes or home Depot. Good service as well.

While this is a true value, so much of the store is the same standard stuff TV stocks, this particular store was pretty large and had a good supply of things that are less commonly found, for example O rings, wide range of brass fittings, etc. I found a couple things to buy and will stop by again when nearby.

This is the hardware store I use most often. A good selection with great customer service. Dog friendly. They can walk you thru a do it yourself project and make sure you get everything you need. Full lawn and garden selection, heating, plumbing, and tool. It also hosts the Boy Scout shop at the back of the store. Locally owned and operated.

We came in for paint to paint our concrete porch. They had no samples! Who would buy paint with out knowing what color we are buying. The man there opened up the can to see what color it was and we couldnt tell which shade it was so after s little bit of searching online for a paint sample we decided to leave. Worst place to go for paint.
