UserDana SholarThe whole front staff was amazing and made me feel welcomed. The facility was extremely cleaned and sanitized. And oh my gosh the best tanning beds hands down. I absolutely love this Planet Fitness facility.

Most of it was clean, but the showers were not. The first shower didn’t get hot so I had to switch to another. Both shower drains were slow. Both shower curtains were missing most of the rings. The one I ended up using only had TWO shower curtain rings, but at least it was warm.The manager should walk across the street to Walmart or wherever and grab some shower curtain rings and Drano.Covid note: Overheard an unmasked staff member say they were unvaccinated. Ironically, they were in charge of keeping the gym clean and safe from covid.

Very nice and clean gym with very friendly staff. Not crowded and people who go there are nice overall. More attention to the locker room and bathroom would be very helpful.

Everything you need is here. Its a great location. Only downside is the size of the gym wish it was a little bigger or reoriented. There are way to many treadmills and cardio stuff.When it gets packed there is like 10 people trying to use 2 sets of dumbbells in a limited area.

I’m able to work out around others without being judged and able to receive a massage right after. Also it’s easy for me to go before work and take a shower and go to work. Very convenient! Definitely Recommend!

I love Planet Fitness. I switched to them from Murfreesboro Athletic Club not only for their low price but mainly because of their response to the pandemic. Unlike MAC, they required everyone to wear masks, and the workers were constantly wiping down equipment, and so were the customers. I saw none of this at MAC. Also the app is amazing with so many features to help me reach my goals, as well as a crowd meter. Being open 24 hours is another awesome feature. PF is progressive and appeals to all ages.

They used to have signs on the machines to promote social distancing but they removed them. I hate that they did that. Otherwise, its a nice facility. The staff is friendly and its clean. The setup is much better than the one on Church Street.

Cool and clean gym

Started new routine that coincides with physical therapy regiment. Met the trainer Staci who counseled me and then show me the equipment machine that I needed to use and how each one works. Number of repetitions that I needed on each station and time on recumbent machine. Then let me go through the necessary reps at each station.Found it very pleasant atmosphere and easy to set up to accomplish my particular exercises routines. Thanks to Staci and the staff on duty for making it so easy.

24-hour access is nice, availability of machines is good but locker rooms need help. There’s black mold in the showers and surrounding area.

Change your water/bottle fountain. It’s OVER 100000+. They’re suppose to reset that number everytime they change the filter. You could also tell by the taste of sink water from it that’s how you know they don’t change it

Its a really nice place to exercise and clean, this isnt the stores fault but Im still giving it a low review because a guy kept staring at me while I did one of my sets

The gym itself isnt bad but in order to cancel you have to either be there in person or mail a certified letter.

I have tried other memberships but always come back to PF. It’s a clean atmosphere and offers a variety of equipment at low cost. I enjoy the ease of finding locations when I travel.

Tanning beds are always clean and good bulbs i feel there should ne more soace between the bench presses and morecleaming done in the weight rooms but over all its a nice place

Took my mom here with my Black Card because we couldnt get to our trainer Friday. Smryna is my home Gym so this was my first time going to a different gym. The gym guy at the front desk was really nice and helpful. If Im on that side of town again I will definitely workout here again.

Don’t think they turn the a/c on in here. With it being 90+ degrees and a heat index over 100, it feels almost as hot inside as it does outside.

I love Planet Fitness!! All the employees are great and the no judgement zone is awesome!! I also really enjoy the tanning beds!!!

Stole $72.99 from my bank account and I havent even been here for a month yet. Incredibly unhappy and needing to speak to someone who can actually help me.

Kept clean. Staff is very friendly and make sure that you dont feel any pressure being there. Gyms can be intimidating, but they ensure you feel at home and in your own element. Hydromassage chairs are a God-send after a workout!!

Customer service is the worst. The club doesn’t take time to communicate effectively with their members. Simply put, their staff is completely disengaged with their members. Seems that people do not matter to this company, that has been clearly demonstrated to myself and others who warned me against joining this club. Lesson learned.Never experienced this with LA Fitness or Lifetime Fitness in all the years that I have been a member with them. Looking forward to returning back to them once we complete our building here in Tennessee. Will definitely follow up with corporate to express my frustrations of their incompetence.

Planet Fitness is an amazing gym!! My location is awesome because they give 10 min for the massage amenities with Black Card Membership. I found when traveling that all locations do not do that. The Black Card amenities are a huge reason why I go. It motivates me to work out and look forward to the hydro massage right after. I also love the 30 min express workout.

This gym. I like coming here, but I’m not understanding why I need to bring my card in here in order to buy water or Gatorade. I don’t feel safe doing that. That’s why I bring my cash. I know Corona going on. That’s the least they can do is at least let me pay that way. It did frustrating. What makes it worse is the person at the register says it’s nothing they can do, and just being dismissive. I’m just done.

Great place to go for any exercise and/or workout.

I usually love Planet Fitness. Today, I came with a friend who was bringing her 14 year old nephew as her guest. It was first thing in the morning - SUPER early. They wouldn’t let him work out “due to liability” without a photo ID. He’s 14. He doesn’t have a drivers license, so they recommended his BIRTH CERTIFICATE!!! Who carries that around?! The guy at the desk pointed at the wall where the policy is written. That’s great, but it feels like you just have that there so you can point it out when people don’t follow the rule that you never verbally told them previously. It’s great that you put it in writing, but you can’t expect people to read your signs. I would recommend telling Black Card Members VERBALLY when they sign up that any guests have to have a photo ID because that’s not the policy at other gyms. It’s not an unspoken understood rule. For a 14 year old to wake up at 5AM to workout and then get stuck sitting, wasting time is just really sad.

The lack of cleanliness in the mens locker room is disturbing. I have addressed with staff and club manager multiple times. I have filled out corporate surveys. I guess they are not concerned. Today I was late for work because I had to drive back home to shower. I will be joining another gym, I suppose.

I saw the same paper towel remain on the ground in the dressing room for an actual month. Almost every employee Ive encountered at this location is dismissive and nonchalant. I dont expect overwhelming welcomes by any sense, but I feel like almost all interaction Ive had with staff has been unpleasant. My girlfriend and I now drive 20 minutes from our job and home to attend the Church St. location. We love planet fitness. Unfortunately basic customer service is a preference of ours.

I am a member of Planet Fitness in Franklin. I like to hop around to other locations. This location did not disappoint today!

Large facility with a wide variety of equipment. The price is right and the staff does an amazing job of keeping the facility clean. Especially during this whole Covid mess. You dont get the annoying gym culture you would at Golds gym. The narcissistic juicers who are rude, loud and disrespectful to other who dont look the way they think they do.

Everyone is respectful and nice. Great exercise equipment and amenities. Sanitize stations and equipment distancing for Covid concerns. Staff is always helpful with my many questions Ive had. I never feel like others are watching me and judging me. And that means a great deal to me because I struggle with mild symptoms of autism. But this is one public place Ive never struggled. The price is so much better than fair for what you get. I used to pay $2 more monthly just for tanning, much less everything else. But even if I go and only use a few items, I still got more than my moneys worth. Not to mention I have medical issues. Ive been attending for 2 months now and only missed 3 days. I went for blood work a couple days ago and got the best A1C score Ive had in 15 years. Thank you Planet Fitness for creating a place for my health and an environment where I feel at ease.

I really like the atmosphere, it’s definitely a great place for cardio workouts, but it’s really hard to build muscle or get lean with the lack of free weights. I’d really appreciate at least like a set or 2 for free weight bench and squat. Personally, I think the machines they have with a bar just don’t work right for squats. It would be a top tier gym with that inclusion.

This used to be one of the cleanest facilitys around, no more dust bunnies all over, trash on floor, employees behind the counter on their phones, what had happened to this place?????

Television & music havent been working for months now. Unfortunately the employees have to take the frustration from the members.Where are the owners!!!

I am highly satisfied with this place. I recently started working out and tanning and they keep new bulbs in the beds and they are very nice beds. Just the price monthly is worth the tanning beds as they are the same in a salon that would cost double for black card, I worked at a salon so I’m familiar with it. The equipment is nice they have a very wide range of everything and many of each. The hydro massage is life. This place is very motivating and I’m extremely happy i joined. I don’t think I could live without it. A stress reliever for sure. I’ve read many reviews about sweat , but as someone who works out I have no issue cleaning before and after. If you’re going to share a gym with people, it’s almost impossible to keep everything clean 24/7. As a customer, I think it’s part of our job as well. The paper towels and spray bottles are always stocked and full. No excuse not to.

It is a very good looking gym. Very clean. Nice locker room. My issue is with their plans and with their billing system. I understand the $10 plan is for one gym, gives you free WiFi and free fitness trainings I think there needs to be an option to pay for certain perks of the black card like the hydromassage and massage chairs. Additionally, I don’t like that they mandate you to pay monthly. There is no option to do advanced payments or even to pay in full for six months or a year or anything like that. Lastly, I don’t like that you are required to give your card number, account number and routing number as well. I understand they think it is for peace of mind so you don’t have to worry about remembering to pay a bill but some people don’t pay their bills from checking/savings accounts. Some people use credit cards (typically for points because who doesn’t love points lol). So, sadly Planet Fitness is not a good fit for me.

Great customer service and friendly atmosphere.

I love it.Very clean and practicing social distance was outstanding. They did a wonderful job. Did I mention the massage chair. It was rejuvenating. I plan to go quite often.

I really like working out at planet fitness! Everyone is helpful the gym offers lots of amenities like tanning beds and 10 dollar gym bags, provides training techniques and machines are keep up and the environment is safe and clean for the covide19 pandemic! Well worth the 10 dollars a month!💪

Planet Fitness is an excellent place to work out and meet other people who are like minded. Until recently, I worked out at the facility six days per week. I reduced it to five because my workout is working! The facility introduces new equipment frequently and I really enjoy working out in community as opposed to privately in my own home. The people working at the facility are nice also. The reason why I selected four stars instead of five is because of the lack of cleanliness at the facility. When I first joined two years ago the facility was always clean. Over the last six months I have noticed that it is simply not as maintained as well. I go in five days a week at the same time from 4:00 am to 5:30 am and I see dust bunnies in the same places from day to day. This is disturbing because this is a community facility and possibly hundreds of people use it on a daily basis. Again, great facility, great people, the facility just needs to be better maintained and cleaned. I am sure that the visionary for the Planet Fitness concept had a clean facility in mind. Please resolve this!

Awesome gym. Staff are very friendly and its always clean. Couldnt be happier!!!

Horrible - signed up and cancelled same day. No enforcement of mask policy. No enforcement of wiping down machines. Hand sanitizers out of order or empty.

The environment was great. The machines are a bit closer to each other than Im used to.

It’s always clean, It’s open 24/7, Damaged equipment always gets repaired ASAP, They have more than enough cardio equipment so you never have to wait your turn

The gym itself is fine. It has everything you need to get a good workout in. However, anytime you have to speak to an employee about anything they act like it’s a huge burden to answer one single question. Also, why have a sign up since thanksgiving that said you were closing at 1 if you are going to start telling people to get out at 12:30. I planed my workout around being able to leave at 1 instead they rush everyone out and I don’t get to complete it. If you say you’re going to close at one then close at one.

I wish I could rate it higher but we have been asking for real decline benches for over 2 years and we still have none. We have to stack weights up and put a bench on them to get a decline. ..I understand that most if not all the other PF in the middle Tn area has them.Also, during the times that I come, the paper towel dispensers are always out of towels, even in the locker room.On the positive side, the staff is great.

I joined Planet Fitness in 2018 after son recommended it to me. I was off to a slow start but when I finally got my schedule the way i wanted it has been great. I go every other day at different times and I love the fact they are always open. The staff is friendly and helpful. Really great place to exercise. Update...I have retired now and go very early in the morning...I love the 24/7 hours at Planet Fitness.

I havent had access to this much equipment since I left college. Even with all the people there it doesnt feel crowded, Im left alone and I absolutely adore the massage chairs. I feel wonderful after my workout and am glad that I joined this gym.

Love this gym. Not a bunch of big body builders. just people trying to be fit. Love the morning classes. Perfect for my age.

I love going. Due to school, I havent been able to go too often this month. I love going at night when its not too packed. The staff are iffy depending on. Whos there. But all in all great gym equipment and safe environment.

Pros- gym is nice/ clean and near work,so it makes it easy to go to. Cons- dont go between 4-9 cause odds of you getting a machine are slim (super packed during those times ) and the staff is basically not there to say the least. Dont greet you when you walk in or say goodbye to you why you leave and you stand at the counter for what seems like forever in order to get a tanning pass before someone finally gets off their cell phone or stops talking to another associate to even notice you are waiting. They were amazing when the gym opened and now not as much.

Friendly staff, decent amount of weights, and enough space to stay 6 feet a part while working out.

I love Planet fitness! I travel a lot and enjoy being able to walk into a gym in any city and be able to work out, tan and get a massage!! I only gave 4 stars because of lack of cleanliness! I saw the same Q tip in the womens restroom for 6 full weeks in my hometown!!! I brought it to the staffs attention several times until I finally felt obligated to pick it up myself. I have found the same sort of problem in several cities.Otherwise a great place.

It is imperative that if you’re going to have a policy that you actually enforce it and not pick and choose when to enforce policies. I came to this gym to tan and was told I was going to be charged for the stickers that are normally free at every other single location including the ones in Maryland by headquarters and informed the manager Diana Melendez that I had no form of payment since I was on lunch break and did not expect to pay since I hadn’t before ever in the last seven years I’m coming to planet fitness I was in turn treated terrible and she did not care about me canceling My membership or being upset. She has no sense of customer service nor management skills. But as previously stated in the statement, if you’re going to have a policy please put up a sign if you’re going to change it and if that has been the policy the entire time make sure that people are enforcing it so for seven years you are expecting something different.

A little bit older equipment, but still very nice and very useful! I went around 10 pm and there were only about 8 other people there in this huge space!

This place has too much pride, arrogance and attitude.

Anyone that enjoys friendly people and a pleasant atmosphere should join planet fitness. The tanning bed are clean and well maintained. Hydromassage is worth the extra cost all by itself. Love, love, love their gym.

I cant say enough about the staff they are so helpful and very friendly.

For the most part they do a good job. Sometimes cleanliness suffers. Machines need to be wiped down more often. You can see dried sweat all over the treadmills.

Trainers are super friendly and really know what they are doing!

I have worked out at Planet Fitness for over 3 years! The variety of equipment is wonderful and the place is always so clean! I feel like the staff has progressively gotten less and less friendly over the years but I still loved going to workout here! Definitely recommend.

Good parking.... finally got better tanning beds...new level 4... Locker rooms are excellent... with hot high pressure water in showers, a digital scale and full length mirrors in all of the changing stalls. And the gym is fully equipped. Always clean too. NICE JOB 😀

No judgment. Friendly staff and customers. Come get a great workout in a safe environment and enjoy the spa there as well! They also have an assortment of health products you can purchase, with discounts for black card members. I hope to see you there!

Called about being hit with membership charges after the pandemic without any notice and was told I’d have to come in person to cancel or send a letter. When asked about a corporate phone number, I was told “You can find it online.” Very unprofessional service. Disappointed that they neglected to inform members of billing. This company should have given its members the right to cancel their membership over the phone during a pandemic.

I absolutely enjoy working out at Planet Fitness. The bath rooms area always clean... no gunk in the showers or sink areas. The staff is friendly and helpful. The manager is outstanding and very helpful. So glad I recently joined after being somewhere else. They have classes for everyone at a variety of times. LOVE PLANET FITNESS !!!!!

I love this gym. Always tons of equipment, its usually never too full. The atmosphere is chilled out and theres no pressure. The only thing that prevents this from being 5 stars is the attention. Depending on when you come you either get the nice ones or you get the people who dont want to do anything. Other than that, though, its awesome!

Facility looks impressive from the outside and seems nice from the inside. Staff refused to give a tour to help me decide if the gym was right for me. I have heard good things about the franchise, but was less than impressed by the way I was treated when I went in.
