Drakes barber shop is great both Jason and Robert are great barbers. Robert especially is great with fades.

Vader met us at the door, which immediately put our 2 year old at ease! In his words, the puppy made me happy! The combination of Vader nearby, the cool jeep chair, and his favorite show on You Tube made a typically painful experience so easy!All the guys in the shop are kind, thoughtful, professional, and wonderful to work with, and beyond patient with a wiggly kid. This is a wonderful shop with a great message and ministry! We cannot recommend them enough!

I went in sat down and the man asks me how I want if I said a shorter version of what I have ,so then in the middle of the cut he asked again what I wanted I said as short as his he says ok and does it exactly what I wanted then starts chipping away at the spots he already hit.Then says its one way to salvage it so he changes the style completely exacts it as his own Trys to act snarky by saying I messed it a up a little and says not to bad of a cut though right trying not to be rude I say okay i had to salvage it. Now I now have to wait a month to get the style back the ways it was and go somewhere else to hopefully find a nicer person

Great atmosphere!! Vetern owned and operated. All of the barbers are incredibly friendly and polite. Their shop dog is a nice touch, especially for small children. In and out with a clean stylish cut in a few minutes. Will be going back for sure!

Ive been going to Drakes since 2018, and barbers have come and gone. But Ive never had a bad haircut here. The staff is always friendly, and super cool. Not expensive at all, $18-$20 for a quality haircut. Usually the barber will know more about how to style my hair than I do, so theyre super great. Also Edgar and Jason are my go tos.

I was highly disappointed with the service this place provided. One of the barbers didnt even want to take me because I had a beard trim and it would of taken him to long so he can get off or something

Showed photo of needed haircut for son. Received a shaved head instead. Older heavy set gentlemen used all clippers on a scissor haircut.

We have been looking for a good barber shop for years & today our family became lifetime customers at Drakes Barber Shop! Amazing customer service and amazing haircuts. My dads deaf & has a cochlear implant & the device sits in his hair, so its hard to find someone to cut his hair right - he got the perfect haircut at Drakes! My younger son doesnt do well in new places - he did great at Drakes & got the perfect haircut as well. Well never go anywhere else. Definitely recommend!

This place is okay. I wont give 5 stars but I wont give 1 either. Okay prices with okay staff. Drake is the only 5 star talent in the shop so because of him Id have to rate a 3 star.

This place was awesome! I took my son here for a haircut. It was like taking a step back in time. People were engaged in friendly conversation. The barbers were happy to see us walk in. We were helped immediately. The service was professional, quick and quality!

Went in tonight with serious reservations. Im fresh off the worst haircut of my life at a different barber. It was a half hour before they closed for the night. I had always thought a quality cut was a long cut. Anyway, I stopped in. Here was my experience, short and sweet: Shook hands with Justin and was seated. We talked immediately and he made me confident that he could fix my hair. In 15 minutes the man gave me one of the best haircuts Ive ever had. The whole time he kept conversation going and was super welcoming. I couldnt believe the quality of cut he packed into 15 minutes! It didnt feel rushed, he just worked quickly. The craziest part? It was almost half of what I normally pay to get my hair cut. Ill be back. Give this place a try. You wont regret it.

I always get a good haircut at Drakes Barber Shop. Drakes is far better at giving consistantly good haircuts, which is better than these chain hair stylists shop. The owner is one of the Barbers and there is no constant turn over of the Barbers. You can count on getting the same Barber when you go there. Therefore you get a good quality haircut each time. There are now four Barbers there to wait on you.

We love Drakes!! My son is 3 and doesnt like to sit still...so getting his hair cut is a challenge. Jason and Justin have both cut my sons hair multiple times and they are always so patient with him and they know exactly how to keep him distracted with toys or by being silly with him. My son loves going there to get his haircut!! The guys working there make every visit worth the drive to Murfreesboro. I could take him plenty of places in Smyrna (where we live) but since we found Drakes, we will never go anywhere else! Great guys and great prices as well! You wont regret going here!! 👍👍👍

I had one of the best experiences here today. They were so welcoming and made you feel important as soon as you walked in. I was in customer service for a lot of years and not many places wow me and Drakes did. I would highly recommend this place for a haircut.

My barber Justin is a great guy and excellent in his trade. I used to pay $25-40 at some of the trendy higher end barber shops around Murfreesboro and between the high prices and scheduling hoops to jump through, I gave Drakes a shot. Let me tell you I was not let down. They do excellent work at a cheap price. After going to Drakes youll wonder why you wasted so much of your money going to those high end places on the square for so long.

After recently having my hair cut at an expensive mens grooming business and it coming out to look like a dumpster fire, I decided to try Drakes. Ive had friends recommended them for awhile, I just hadnt thought much of it until the disaster from a few weeks before.They did an amazing job. It was priced very reasonably and my hair was cut in a fashion to make me look like a normal human again. Not a monkey whod gotten ahold of some clippers. My business will now be with them. Im happy to have finally made myself a customer of these guys. Theyll take care of you and your hair needs and the wait is not long at all.Thank you Drakes for the trim.

Best friend place in the Boro to get your Haircut!

Telling your walk-in customers you prefer they never come to the barbershop if they do not want to make an appointment first is never good customer service. I am looking for a barbershop not a hair salon.

I got my haircut by Bobby here yesterday. After going to the chain shops staffed by young people that only know how to cut hair their way, I looked for an old fashioned barber shop. Bobby listened to how I wanted my cut and did exactly what I asked for. Additionally, he shaved the back of my neck with a straight razor, something the chain shops dont do. Dont go here if you have curly hair. The guy butchered my sons beautiful curls because he didnt know what he was doing. It took my son over 2 years to grow his curls and now he has to start over. Im so sad and upset my son has to go to school looking like this. If you dont know how to cut curly hair, then DONT!!!!

I have been going to Drakes for about 4years now. Like the friendly service and Christian atmosphere.

Called to ask about getting some of my hair buzzed, and a woman answered the phone. I asked how much a cut was, and she told me $15 then told me to hold. She stated to her coworker, very audibly, Its a woman. Like geez, have you never heard of a woman wanting short hair? Heaven forbid!
