Very sleazy.went there for smog test. They told me it would be $58. When I picked up the car, they showed me under my hood there was a piece of a hose was clearly not connected. They charged me $49 for the failed test.Why did they go ahead and did the test when they could clearly see the missing piece of the hose?After I paid, they told me it will cost me another $40 to get re-rested after I get my hose repaired.Dont go there.

Update:They sent multiple service request emails less than a year after my service and never addressed the mistakes they made servicing my car. I would not recommend. See below to understand why.While I should assume they did a service, the service indicator was NOT reset, and there was grease all over my steering wheel after the service. I’m not sure this is a place I’d trust with my car with due to lack of attention to detail if nothing else.I also tried to call them three times to discuss the issues over the phone with no answer. Now I’ve given up and wrote this review, so it’s not for lack of trying to understand what went wrong.The people I talked to there were quite pleasant. So it’s too bad the service on my vehicle wasn’t to the standard I expect.

Once again I had excellent service at Mercedes service of Mountain View. I called yesterday morning and within 30 minutes my car was taken in, I was offered a loaner car, and I picked up my car at the end of the day with very accurate charges that were quoted beforehand. Ive been taking my Mercedes to Mings shop for a decade now. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Theyre the most competent, honest, and friendly people. Ive also saved a lot of money by not going to the dealer. One time, a dealer quoted me 5 items to be repaired, but Ming gave me his honest opinion that only 2 items needed repair. Theyre the best!

I was Mercedes Exclusive customer for years. Since their quality of service dropped and price went up a lot, I decided to go somewhere else. I had small services somewhere in Santa Clara for a short time. Since intake manifold is a big one this time, I shopped around. While I found Ming, the reviews showed many of them were customers from Mercedes Exclusive too. Their feedback convinced me with similar experience. I decided to go with Ming who didnt disappoint me at all: the service was done within 1 day. And they mailed/emailed the report with corrected code. I am glad to have Ming nearby. :-)

Brought my Mercedes ML 320 in for some complicated engine issues and both guys were friendly and helpful. They were able to troubleshoot and fix my car while keeping the costs down. They also kept me updated throughout the week and were accommodating of my schedule to pick up the car. Will come back here in the future.

Wouldnt take my 2012 C250 Coupe anywhere else. Ming and his team know their stuff. I leave safe in the knowledge that my car has been taken care of as well as it would have been at any Mercedes dealership, but for a LOT less money. Raymond at the front desk is also a pro, and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend.

Fast, friendly, professional service. For a modest fee, you can pay your DMV registration here after your smog passes, and get your sticker without dealing with the DMV directly. Worth the extra cost, IMO.

Highly recommended. I will definitely return here for smog tests. They also provide some limited DMV registration and ownership change services.I had to wait a few minutes for the one employee to serve a previous customer, but their service was clear and fast! Their prices are written clearly on the wall (and that they accept credit or debit for smog tests).

I love coming here for smog or vehicle registration! Joe is honest and I trust him to tell me what’s really going on with my vehicles. He almost always gets me in on the spot but call ahead just in case. I don’t know why anyone would go to a DMV and wait all day for basic vehicle registrations though. I’m always in and out quick at Smog-It. They even have free WiFi in the waiting room if you want it. I can’t recommend them enough!

Honest: no unscrupulous surcharges for SUVs; no reliance on coupons for reasonable prices (prices are posted clearly). These are common pricing tricks (that I hated) in other smog test providers. Note the (posted) $8.xx DMV charge is charged by everyone. In the past I put up with all these pricing tricks at other providers to save a few dollars but it’s maddening and I will no longer do that. Smog testing is based on defined legal standards so the work is precisely the same everywhere. Choosing a provider just comes down to price or service - I choose service at Smog It Test Center.

This mechanic always fixed my car problem that other one could not. He finds the cause to my car problem correctly and promptly finished it. He earned my trust for fixing my mercedes now.

Brilliant. They kept everything very simple/low-fuss. No appointment, waiting room with WiFi, courteous/conscientious staff who gave me accurate wait times for the whole affair. Even stopped to check if I needed the inspection at all - to be sure I didnt pay for a procedure the state didnt need. They submit electronically, so no need to do any additional paperwork on my side.

Ming was wonderful letting me know that it was dangerous to drive my car given abc malfunction and fluid leak, that it would be expensive so if I had warranty at dealership that I should take it there, and that my prior car repair place had likely loosened the hoses to require anothor service.
