I have trained here for a few years now and it has evolved into a lifestyle! I can not say enough about Frank and the whole atmosphere of Flex Gym! I started here overweight and not knowing the difference between a dumbbell or barbell and started competing in Powerlifting. I now a several National records thanks to Flex Gym !

Frank Beam is a knowledgeable instructor and always available to offer advice and assistance. Clean professional gym, great respect for ladies who workout there, drug free and no profanity allowed.

This gym is fabulous! I have been a member in different gyms throughout the United States as a traveling nurse. The owner Frank is very patient and also preforms in weight lifting events. The staff goes above and beyond out of their way on explaining what this gym offers plus the employee smiles. If you are looking for someone to pick up for a date. This is not the gym for you. If you want to meet your fitness goals and to become health. Come on in!

This is a great gym with a great atmosphere. If youre a powerlifter and live near Morganton, you definitely should be lifting here. If youre just passing through, make sure to stop!

Great gym that has all the right equipment and a trainer that is great to work with

A year ago me and my wife were banned from Flex after I had a falling out with the owner. No refund for our 6 months we still had left on our membership, on thanksgiving, after several tragedies had befallen my close friends and family including the death of my grandpa and the suicides of 3 close musician friends. He attacked us at our lowest point. Instead of encouragement and pity I was greeted everyday with hostility and anger. Which is an ABSURD way to run a business. And who doesnt like my wife Lilly? Shes an angel and he treated her horribly as well. I have 2 enemies in this world, Satan the devil and Frank Beam and im pretty sure they are one in the same... HOWEVER, I should be thanking him for his betrayal. Im in a better place mentally and physically because there is ZERO drama, gossip, and hatefulness at our new gym. The staff has been amazing and im thankful on this day to have made new friends who dont stab me in the back at any given moment. We are greeted everyday with kindness and they support us in all of our fitness needs. Be grateful for the good things and friends and remove those toxic and vile people from your lives. You will be better off and much happier not only physically but spiritually as well. Frank Beam is the king of gossip, slander, and betrayal and anyone who supports him obviously hasnt seen the true nature of this demon. The pic says it all . The look of pure evil .
