After 15 years with Tax Comp, I am sad to see what Tax Comp has become since Jimmys retirement. I had an appointment at 5pm on Saturday, it was confirmed twice on Friday and Mike Kamio ghosted me. I emailed after 5:30pm wondering if he was going to call me and still no response. I then sent two emails asking if my appointment was going to be rescheduled and still no response. As co-owner Mike Kamio should understand what drives his business and thats his customers. A month later and still no call back or correspondence from Mike. SO DISAPPOINTING!!!! I took my business to an actual CPA and he charged me slightly less than tax comps preparation fee. Im glad this happened as Ill be saving cash annually on my preparation fee and Ive upgraded at an actual CPA. Good luck to you all and hopefully Mike Kamio learns to value his customers in the future.

Stay away from this place! Especially from Mike Kamio. I made an appt at a specific time with him and was not seen til 45 min after! No apology and was arrogant the whole time! I know better tax preparers thatll charge half of what they do and show better results and respect.

I was faced with a tax problem that was a nightmare for me. I had not filed for multiple years, the Feds and the State were not being sympathetic. I had used Tax Comp once and I went back to them for help, I was in real financial trouble. Mike filed for all the years and straightened out everything for me. He went above and beyond for me and I am grateful, I feel the price was fair. I recommend there service to anyone.

Very professional, the staff carrys theirselves well, & they dress very well: not too conservative & not too loud. Very knowledgeable of Tax law and seemed very experienced. Walking in I was concerned about cost, walking out I wouldve paid even more, but based on the level of service, experience & counsel I received. First time here. Lisa helped prepare our taxes. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. The environment is very clean, the whole staff is friendly, and they even have some delicious little snacks in the waiting room. We will definitely be returning here.

Not happy with the service my wife and I received from this agency. In short they charged me well near $700 for a $700 return but at first telling me I was getting $6500 back. Got a letter from California claiming tax comp had put in the wrong numbers on my return. Have sent numerous emails with no return call or email. Very unprofessional. My POC here was Mike Kamio

Set up an appointment and arrived and was surprised to see that they were waiting for me and that they set aside a whole hour just for me they talk to me about every question that I had, ways to save more money next year and also how to maximize my return this year wonderful service will be coming back every year

Love this family they are upright and honest. I received my State tax return in my account this morning on 2/15/2019 and just received my Federal return this evening.
