Just seeing what they had in internet marketing.
Worst internet service always down .Right now their customer service number does not work .
Terrible service. Internet goes down for multiple days at a time. I’ve never had such inconsistency with an internet provider. I always have to alert them to downed internet. I have no idea why they can’t figure it out and fix it on their own.
Live in Santa Lucia Preserve above Carmel Valley. Clear view of tower on the peak. But the internet service is horrible. Fast when working but frequently it drops off. While it comes back very quickly, the frequent drop-offs make on demand viewing or recording virtually impossible. And service interruptions are frequent. They do not repair despite repeated service calls. DSL was slower but far more reliable.
Amazing staff, free parking lot, full service ISP.
Absolutely wretched. Supposed to open about an hour ago but still isnt open, keep you on hold for three minutes just for nobody to be there so they can keep the false appearance of business instead of honestly sending to voicemail on off times. Signs that pretend to be open even when closed. If you value time, beware
Good local internet service. No charge for bandwidth use! Very helpful when Ive needed it, courteous over the phone and good response times when solving problems. 4 vs 5 stars simply because their DSL+ forces you into AT&T (who provides a very insecure modem), and their spam/phish email protection isnt that great. Definitely recommend over other local providers, as well as big cable and satellite internet service providers, particularly if you use WiFi for everything (phone, tv, etc.)
As amazing as it sounds in 2017, we live in a neighborhood in Santa Cruz mountains that does not have any highspeed internet options nor any cell coverage. I was chasing down every possibility and either getting sorry we dont have service in your area or we can get you connected for $250,000, please pay upfront when I stumbled across RedShift internet services. Theyre a small, locally owned company where phones are picked up by a real human beings sitting in Monterey and emails are answered promptly.Instead of blowing us off like every other ISP, even though we live more than an hour away from their office, they came out to check out our neighborhood. Even though the terrain and the trees were too challenging for them to directly provide service to the houses, RedShift moved heavens to figure out a way to get a 100 Mbps wireless backhaul at reasonable prices into the area so that we could distribute the internet signal and finally join the rest of US and stream Netflix and watch YouTube videos. Its been 6 months since we were able to get the link up and running - its been a very challenging winter with hurricane force winds and torrential downpours, and RedShift has done admirable job keeping the link up and running, quickly responding and figuring out ways to keep people online while dealing with downed towers and antennas. Weve had some disruptions this winter, but RedShifts been responsive and prompt in responding to our support requests and keeping us updated on their progress and getting us back online. Living in the mountains, were used to power and phone service going down, and RedShift has been a life line in keeping our little neighborhood online come rain or come shine.
They don’t update their hours! I tried to return my router on Sunday cause google says they are open... well they aren’t so I had to return it Monday 30 minutes before I was moving. THEY ARE NOT OPEN SUNDAY!!!!!! Update your hours people!
