We were getting a new garage door when we discovered termite damage. My husband called and they were on site within 2 hours. The next day I had a crew of people breaking down wood, sheetrock and seeing how bad the Damage was. David with Southeastern Exterminating. Was professional and made sure the process moved quickly. Thankfully it was not active termites. Which means the treatment is working. Not only did David make the process smooth he coordinated with my garage people to make sure they would come install and I wouldnt be with an open garage for 2 weeks. I AM THANKFUL for Southeastern Exterminating.
Southeastern Exterminating was extremely affordable for Establishing my new termite bond. I had to get a new bond due to the extremely high price that terminix increased to Dallas was so professional. I hope they have more workers like him. Give them a call and tell them Dale Williams referred you.
We have used SEE since 1996. The annual inspection & treatment has been timely, the people are polite and accommodating. Most importantly, no termites.
We inherited a termite bond from this company and they took our money for 2 years then all of a sudden if you have a stucco house then you have to cut 6 inches from the ground around the bottom of the entire perimeter of the house. On top of that it would be $2000 to renew the bond. Another reputable company came in and the house is NOT below grade as they said. They were fine with a new bond that will be cheaper on a yearly basis anyway. It’s unbelievable how a company can just pick and choose even if the facts state that the house is in compliance with no signs of any damage. Just bad biz.
AVOID THEM!We had Southeastern as our exterminator the first few months after we moved into our new home. Most of their products did little to nothing to prevent our ant problem, but their technicians were always very friendly and explanatory (the technicians are the only good part of this company). After some very delayed billing and a home office that never picked up the phone, I saw the writing on the wall and asked them to cancel all future appointments. Thank goodness we didnt sign a contract.I had an awkward experience today where, after we havent talked to them for nearly a year, they showed up to render service with an appointment I never scheduled. Myself and the tech were unsure as to how that happened, but having a strong administrative office would probably prevent things like that from happening. I went with Terminix, who immediately killed every ant in and under our home, and bill us on time.
I have held a termite bond with this company since 2016. Today, I had the annual inspection and was told that I must pay $650 for my bond renewal with the now required Centricon home treatment. I waived Centricon last year, due to it being an unnecessary expense. I refuse to pay for something I do not need, and I was not notified of sooner prior to my bond expiring. Very unprofessional to say the least, and I will no longer be a customer.
Had the absolute pleasure of speaking with this company, Jessi specifically. So knowledgeable, kind, and professional. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
I will not use this company again in the future as I cannot do business with liars. When I called this year to schedule my yearly termite inspection for the termite bond, I asked how much it would be this year. The employee who answered the phone pretended not to know the price and suggested it would probably be the same as it was last year, $225. However, I received a bill for $360, a drastic increase from the year before. When I called the company back to inquire about this price hike, the same employee answered the phone (I recognized her voice). This time, she was very clear about the price increase and stated the change in price with certainty. If your employee can lie with ease about something so trivial, I don’t trust that this company would actually honor any details stated in the supposed contract/termite bond if I did ever have some actual termite damage.
We bought a new home 12 years ago in Semmes. We had. A service contract with them . Well, this year theyDecided to add a treatment for an extra $360.00 and that that service is mandatory or they won’t renew.I am not going to be taken advantage of.I won’t be doing business with these people and if you care about your finances you won’t either.Watch your back.
Im not a pest expert by any means, but I will say that quarterly pest service should take more than 5 minutes and two handfuls of some sort of granular product thrown in my flowerbeds! Been with Southeastern since 2016 for my pest and termite bond. Due to COVID-19, I have been home more and I was finally able to see how poor of a service I was receiving. Immediately called to cancel my service and moved to a company who actually cares about their customers, provides good thorough service, and is much more knowledgeable in the industry.
The office staff is absolutely amazing. Great to work with.
Good business, rates going up quickly though!!
I have been with this company for 18 years, since my house was built. My termite bond was up for renewal in January/February. I forgot and called them a month later to make my appointment. They told me they could not renew me because I was “late”. They said they had to quote me a new contract. They came out today and quoted me $1425 and then $1100 each year for renewal. HIGHWAY ROBBERY! My renewal has been no more than $250 per year. I can’t believe they would do this to an 18 year customer. I now have to find a new company. No loyalty at all.
This company refused to service our home. Our home has never had termite damage and has always been under a termite bond (with a different company.) It has always been inspected annually and receives preventative treatments as recommended by the company holding the termite bond.We wanted to switch to Southeastern Exterminating because they offer transferrable termite bonds. They said they would not service our home because it had been under bond with a different company(terminex), and the other company had done normal preventative maintenance. We submitted all documentation stating there was no damage and any former treatment had only been preventative. They still would not cover our home.
Very disappointed on service and how this company refused to follow up on numerous request for help with my service. Moved on to another company and it was a good decision.
My termite bond expired. The bond was already in place with this company when we purchased our house. I never received a renewal notice and of course the bond expired. I figured I would call them to get a new bond. Big mistake. The technician came out and had more interest in criticizing our choice of paint colors and style (as if he worked for Architectural Digest in a previous life) and pointing out repairs made prior to us buying our home than he did in attaining our business. Then made up some lame BS excuse why they would not renew our bond. Used another company instead that wanted my business.
Has some serious billing issues. Have not received a bill in months from them. Even called them concerned because I hadnt received a bill and paid off my balance. Then I get a notice that Ive been sent to collections and I now have a ding on my perfect credit.... Yeah, not happy.
Great service and very competitive pricing, been a customer since 2009!
They raise prices without warning. THis has happened more than once over the years Ive dealt with Southeastern. They wont give reason for price increases (last one was 65%), are unresponsive when asking for paperwork, and lack any semblance of customer service. I urge you to avoid this company.
Great people great service
I paid my bond and still waiting on the contract. I was told when I made my payment that she will have contract in mail next day. Its going on 2 weeks.
Shawn provided me with a thorough inspection, quote and was right on time! Southeastern provides Sentricon protection.
Very respectful of.your.home...very friendly staff.
If you want a technician to show up when scheduled look elsewhere. How are you late to the first appointment of the day. Very poor work ethic and no apology for being late.
Prompt professional and thorough service!
Great Family Business.
Really nice people to work with
These people came knocking on my door at ten oclock Wednesday night. It scared me to death. That could have waited until morning. I will let termites eat my home before I use this company.
Fast and delicious!
Service is good
