Could not get through on the phone, but sent an email and a nice lady (wish I could remember her name cause she deserves a shout out in her job) called me back within 30minutes. She was very nice and gave me the information I needed. Thank you.
I started receiving calls from an unknown Montana number back in February of 2020. The calls became harassment. When I found out it was “Brian A“ from equity management I tried calling him. He refused to give me any information regarding why he needed to “meet up” to give me paperwork. He told me he was right down the street from my place of work and said he could stop by.. I told him I could be terminated for that and that my place of work didn’t authorize me to have that kind of contact during my paid hours. At this point I became frightened because some man knew where I worked and was trying to find me. He called my place of work and when they didn’t give him any information I came home to find his business card taped to my front door. Once the pandemic started things got quiet until I started a new job and lived in a new home in which I had not registered or reported on any platform. I then received a call from my former place of work saying he showed up. He then showed up at my new place of work and although I was there, I was assisting on a surgical procedure and couldn’t come to the door. He left his card again. The next day he showed up to my new, very remote home while I was away and spoke to my boyfriend. Two mornings later I noticed a car following me and turned into my place of work before business hours and this car pulled in after me. It was Brian. He met me by my car and gave me no information, just served me papers. Prior to this encounter I tried calling the company to speak to a higher up. This man also refused me any information. I now have very limited time to respond to my serving and was given no information on how to do so. This harassment, stalking and refusal of information violates the fair debt collections act. I was scared and lost during this whole ordeal and I will not let it go, as should no one who has had a similar experience to mine.
How dare you guys take money from people during a pandemic!
A process server came by to serve a separate residence in a multiunit complex. He proceeded to talk to my 4 year old daughter through a window. In any sort of professional atmosphere this type of predatory behavior is never okay. I find this concerning due to the fact that we have zero connections to the process as well as a grown man taking it upon himself to speak to small girls through house windows. Proper authorities have been notified to this concerning behavior.
Agreed verbally to a payment plan never sent me paperwork to set up auto pay cause apparently you cant over the phone then pulled money straight from my bank account. Then are just unavailable when you call. These people should be ashamed of themselves.
I am an employer. I garnished wages as instructed. Received a letter stating that certain payrolls could not be garnished. No problem refunded money to the employee. This company did not return the checks. They cashed then. Now as a business owner, I paid this garnishment two times. I talked to the office manager . I was told I was irresponsible for issuing the refund. The owner would be available in 16 days.
Absolute zero disregard. I called them roughly a week ago to collect my information to sent them money for a debt. I proceed to do so past couple of weeks, dispite a global pandemic and times being hard. Today I checked my account and they took nearly $600 out of my account.
The staff of Equity goes above and beyond for me and for my employers every time! From service of legal documents right here in Missoula, to making their way all over the place (in and out of state) and at a great rate! They trouble shoot, and make every effort to keep us informed all along the way! Thanks Cheryl & all the gang!!!!!
Very rude and condescending, instead of handing my papers , just threw them to the ground and walked away . All because I didny get to the door fast enough I guess. It was at night and I had just got my kids to bed, sorry it took a few mins to get to the door
Ruthless
