Many of us have been there...our laptop crashes and the world stops as nothing can get done and a fear creeps in that everything is lost. I called four places in a panic. Two were out of business; one called back but could not take another computer; and then there was Larry of Computer Solutions. He called back within the hour and talked me off the ledge. He presented a step by step approach; kept me updated; and delivered each step of the way. After bringing my laptop back to life, he recommended an external hard drive back-up and Scott showed me how to easily back-up all of my files. The business is a gem - the prices very reasonable - and the service top-notch.

I had an issue with my computer microphone not working and the computer was also unable to detect external microphones, which is a huge issue given all the Zoom meetings during the COVID pandemic. I tried updating the audio drivers, which didnt work and took my computer to our IT person, who tinkered around with it without success. I called Larry and left a message explaining the issue. He called me back quickly and explained the potential issues and pricing. I was satisfied so I brought my computer in one afternoon right before the holidays. They said its typically a 3-4 day turnaround, which was OK with me. To my surprise, they called me back less than 24 hrs after I brought my computer in and it was ready to go! Excellent, quick service. Onsite service rate was: (30 (for showing up) + 100/hour). The company I work for is based in NY, and we needed technical support for a local site. Our issue was a router was failing, and we wanted to route our network through a newer one. We had attempted to get a local user to fix the issue, but communication errors occurred. After doing some research, I went with Computer Solutions due to their professional attitude during the interview and the very positive reviews on Google. Richard did arrive about a half hour late, and gave car trouble as an explanation (these things happen to everyone from time to time).It took Richard an hour to wire up the router and cameras, which is a reasonable amount of time to do so. He also stayed a little extra later to make sure that the printers were configured correctly. I was able to verify that the network was up and functional.Overall, I am pleased with the services provided by Computer Solutions, and if we require additional support in the area, we will definitely be contacting them again.
