We are from South Carolina and are visiting our daughter who attends Milwaukee School of Engineering. We saw the huge sign on the building for Usingers and decided to stop in...and I am SO glad we did! Jean helped us with our order and spent quite a bit of time educating us on the different types of meats that they sell. She was so incredibly patient, kind and knowledgeable. We bought some items that didnt need refrigeration. Then we left to buy a cooler and head back to Usingers. We filled that cooler up right there at the counter with so much deliciousness from Usingers!!Thank you Jean and everybody at Usingers! We will be back soon, and with a bigger cooler!

I was recently on the east side of Milwaukee and decided to visit my favorite places. Usinger’s is a family favorite. I have great memories of my Grandmother and our gift boxes we received each Christmas. The bacon I purchased was delicious when I made my red cabbage recipes from Karl Ratzsch’s. Memories of time gone bye.

My brother sent me a surprise gift (so I didnt open it right away) however when the package arrived I was in a hurry and just put it in the garage and promptly forgot about. Fast forward four days i open and realize it is perishable. I called Usingers and was quickly connected to customer service. i was checking to see if there was anyway that it was still consumable. They advised against rather than take any chances, and promptly said the would reship the order, much to my surprise and pleasure. Its a pleasure to find companies who still focus on customers, even if the customer fumbled the ball. That goes a long way in my book for future business. Thank you Usingers

Dont go for the customer service. The sausage is excellent and the prices are unbeatable. They move very efficiently and their goal is to get you in and out. It is what it is. They werent rude at all, just brisk. I will still be purchasing their sausages.

WE have been ordering Brats from usingers since 2002. We have a Christmas tradition of having Brats and black bread on Christmas morning, When our local Germann market went out of business in 2001 we were lost for a replacement Brat until we found Usingers. Best Brats ever. Our Christmas tradition has been saved thank our Usingers.

Usingers is a meat processing plant who specialize on smoking different meats and selling to the public. They have a storefront with your favorite breakfast sausage, bacon, smoked ham, smoked turkey your favorite hot dogs or if you want to call them frankfurters. The prices are incredible much better than your local supermarket. Usingers come visit this place in downtown Milwaukee.

Currently Usingers is only open for walk-ins on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I arrived at around 1215, walked in there were about six customers in front of me. Waited about ten minutes, great service, knew what I wanted, but staff knows their product and are willing to talk with you about it. Was out by 1230.

I’ve been a customer for several years in ordering & sending Christmas packages. This year I blew it and did not send the right payment information. I didn’t know until today, well after Usinger’s delivered the packages. This is the old world customer service! Just when I thought I should maybe mix it up a bit next year for Wisconsin/Milwaukee holiday cheer to those out of state...I won’t think twice about that any longer! Closed due to pandemic. No one thought to update Google so we spent an hour driving here for nothing. Every other sausage maker in the state is open (Miesfelds, Johnsons, etc.) Groceries are essential, they should not have closed.

I love this place! As a child, wed stop here every summer to get summer sausage, bratwurst and other sausages to enjoy.As an adult, everything is as I remember it. High quality, consistency, delicious. When I think of Milwaukee, I always think of Usingers.

The Entertainer gift boxes that I sent my spouse and a business client both arrived today. My husband (Suzans writing this) just opened his and Ive already heard from the business client. First of all, we thought the box was bottomless because my spouse just kept reaching in and taking more things out. We were blown away by the sheer quantity of products in the box. Then we tried several items and were shocked at how delicious they were and how very high the quality is. Ive lived in Europe and this sausage is easily as good as what I ate there.My business client was completely unprepared for their gift; because its such a different type of business gift. Theyve already started eating it and cant decide whether to wait and enjoy it at their party or just sample it for weeks. They were totally pleased.I also have to mention that I received excellent customer service. I LOVE THIS PLACE! The young ladies behind the counter are so pleasant and friendly. This place can get busy so get there early and always have patience, it’s well worth it. Summer sausage, bratwurst, Knockwurst,.liver sausage or a thin slice sausage somewhat like Genoa.Theres nothing to compare, dont bother!Uslngers has a long long history of the finest feeding mke and world wide.

Your Milwaukee airport Usingers is the worst! It is 10:30am, the place is empty. I buy tea and walk to bar to work where there are plugs at every seat. My plane leaves in an hour and I am prepping for a meeting at the other end.Rebecca, your bartender kicked me out of the bar unless I would purchase more and sent me three feet away to a table, saying there was a plug there. The plug is hanging out of the wall. I had to haul all my stuff which I had already set up, repack, unpack computer, etc. I will never ever buy anything at a Usingers again!I would have given zero stars but it wont work unless you populate at least one.

My dad grew up in Milwaukee, but he moved to Florida and had a family. My grandparents used to ship Usingers to us from Wisconsin. ALWAYS loved it when that package would arrive! The best!

My father has been sending me gift packages from Usingers for at least 10 years. I think Ive tried everything at this point and have not been disappointed with the quality of food items. Only had one odd experience when my package was shipped to my PO Box and had spoiled before I knew it had arrived, but customer service rectified the problem and re-sent my gift box promptly.

I dig zombies, but didnt find any here, just great tasting sausage products. Have you tried their bacon? Amazingly good, it makes everything you put it in taste better. Applewood or Peppered, you cant go wrong. 5 stars in my book.

I buy the great Usinger bacon from our local grocer. Every Christmas I send a box of their best to our son in the citys. Always the best. We then order a selection of their deli meat and brats for us. Cant say enough good. We live in a Wisconsin city (Madison) that has lots of delis and meat markets so we know a good product.. Keep up the good work.

Went for the first time this afternoon, and I was somewhat underwhelmed. The selection wasnt as large as I had hoped - I couldnt even get the buffalo and elk sausage I originally went to purchase. The wait time was astronomical despite nearly half of the people waiting having left before their number was called. The clerk named Lorraine was QUITE rude and unwelcoming to those she was serving. Luckily I was helped by a different staff memeber. I would still recommend the facility but know what youre getting into when you stop there.

With the exception of the Mexican lady, she was very nice next time I will wait for her to call on us.

You are a staple of the community and have great meats. Im a little disappointed in the staff you have in your store. We come to your store all the time because we live close by and have been to the store numerous times. Today, the person was very condescending and didnt even get the order correct. Im really disappointed and have to reconsider whether I come back.

Got a holiday gift certificate for 35 dollars. tried to order online...zombie website, you cant use a SERIAL NUMBERED gift card toward your online purchase...was told by zombie Rhoda, yes real name, that they dont do that. Ordered my stuff, 35 dollars worth...got told I had to send the gift cert in by mail and then they would credit my charge card...stuff came in mail...26 dollars shipping via UPS! packages the little sausages are broken and sausage is probably freezer burnt. two days late....bill comes in the mail....I dont remember what card I used to make the purchase so not sure if I paid or not...think the zombie may have worn off on me!! I have not tasted my purchase yet so I cannot comment on inner tube taste or not. will update after we eat the meat.
