I have been coming here for YEARS but lately Ive been seeing Kim and let me just say it has been a blessing! She is absolutely the best. Everyone here is great but she is just amazing! She is so professional, funny and all around a good person. I look forward to coming to get my nails done. She actually talks to me while doing my nails. She makes me feel comfortable. Shes so cool. Shes so talented. Shes just such an awesome person. You cant go wrong. Next time you come request her ask for a design if your into them this is your girl trust me you wont regret it thank me later shes dope! 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me!!!!

Worst nail experience ever. Since I went late in the day they decided to pop my acrylic off. After I told TIM it hurt multiple times he ignored me and continued. They would not soak my nails off. He cut all my REAL nails off....I’ve been coming to this salon for months- I’m nice and leave $10 tip. Never AGAIN! Brian do not leave your store- apparently when you aren’t at work they treat everyone poorly

The first time I came here I did my nails with Kelly, and I loved them. I booked my second appointment with her over the phone with someone who usually picks up the phone (the owner I assume). I called today 09/03 to confirm what time my appointment was at and the guy who picked up the phone states that I can come in earlier. When I came in I said “Hello I’m here for my appointment with Kelly” he told me to have a seat. Another person walks in and says that they have an appointment with Kelly at the same time. The guy who I first approached said “ms you don’t have an appointment with Kelly you have it with Tim” I said no I don’t and while I was talking he cut me off and picked up the phone which was rude. He then proceeded to speak with me and went back and forth about how I was wrong and made the appointment with Tim when I know I made it with Kelly because I don’t even know who Tim is. He is very rude and unprofessional. He did not try and come to an agreement with me. So I told him he lost a customer.

This place is great. I just think they are a little too expensive. I just got recently married in June so I went here to get my nails done and toes done. Getting the dead skin of your heel of your foot is part of the package deal and the lady who was giving me a pedicure, she charged me 5 extra dollars on it. Like I said, its a great place but they kinda take advantage of you especially if you are spending money for a special occasion.

I absolutely love this nail salon! They are very kind and always make me smile with the amazing nails they leave me with. I had Kim as my nail tech and she was so kind as to suggest a nail design that I absolutely fell in love with. I happened to walk in today I usually make an appointment but I happend to walk in I broke a nail wanted a fill and he rudely Denied me when I always spend money in this place because they’re very expensive and I always feel kind of uncomfortable I feel like I was being talked about but I let that slide but he was very rude today and told me that he has appointments and there’s literally like three people in there and there’s nail people sitting around not doing anybody’s nails so I was just confused and I felt very disrespected and he’s like oh you can get pedicure that’s it so I was like all right and then I thought about it and I just walked out and I left and they will not ever get my services ever again unless they’re the last place that I can go to

Prior to COVID I would come to STAR nails because I loved how they did my nails, but also because they treated me so well. Recently, I thought it would be nice to treat my mother to a gel manicure (I did not have an appointment) and I recommended this place to my sister, and we went there. My sister arrived ahead of me and they told her they couldn’t do it and they squeezed three of them in. Now I am okay with being turned away because I mean we didn’t have an appointment, things are different now because of COVID, but what I’m not okay is you accept to provide a service and then you are treated like s***. My sister explained to me that she believes she was treated that way because of how she was dressed and we can make assumptions, but what I will tell you all who are looking at this review I have never witnessed someone grab my mothers hand urgently because they want to get it over with. My sister had to raise her voice and let them know that they were mishandling my mother on her 60th birthday. I will never set foot in that place again. My mother doesn’t get her nails done ever and I’m sorry that she was treated like that in one her first experiences. As far as quality is concerned her gel manicure was rushed and she didn’t get the color she wanted. My neice however did have a beautiful gel tips applied by a worker there who took her time. The lady who worked on my mother if I knew her name it would be displayed here. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I’ve been going here for years. I see Tony but have used most of the techs when he was on vacation etc. and they’re all excellent.

HORRIBLE SERVICE…Tim would not soak off my daughter’ acrylic nails instead he decided to pop off each nail until they almost bled, his wife Sandra told him to continue popping the nails off even if it hurts, while my daughter complained they ignore her. We won’t be back!!!!

Don’t get me wrong the people are very nice but their nail techs did a very poor job on my nails, made the acrylic thick. They are very lazy. I know many nail places where I leave and my nails and cuticles look very healthy, however when I left I still had hang nails on the side of my fingers and the acrylic not having paint near the corner of my nails. Over all they just don’t take their time with their customers nails which really sucks, because it shows once you get home and really see what they did to your nails.😭

The salon is clean, comfortable and well maintained. I use Sandra who does a wonderful job but have used others when shes been away and have been pleased with them as well. Prices are comparable to the mall but unlike the mall theres no drama at Star Nails. I would have no problem recommending this salon.

I have never gotten my nails done elsewhere however I feel that they do a good job on my feet. The chairs are huge and they have message functions. The foot baths are lovely and they add minerals to the water. They offer a variety of options to include with your services. I feel as though I get good value for my money and walk away feeling refreshed.

Got Spa Pedicure today. Did not receive all that was advertised on the laminated menu. Apart of the Spa Pedicure is hot stone massage. I asked twice during the pedicure if he was still going to do the hot stones, because he was starting to paint my nails. He just smiled which indicated to me he did not understand what I was trying to communicate. I asked another personel member and they told me that they dont even have hot stones. They do good work. Loved the pedicure & massage, but I bought the Spa Pedicure because it had hot stones. I would advise that you ask about any treatments here and if they pull out the laminated card with the breakdown of whats involved.... ask about each item specifically, because they may not be capable of providing services that they advertise for. Also, the prices on the wall differ from the actual on some items. :/ I would come back, but only for basics.

If I could give it zero stars I would . They are terrible , if you go and get your nails done and something happens to them within a couple days you have to make sure the persons working cause the owner will not let anyone fix them unless you get charged . While he talked with me he smiled and laughed at the situation that wasn’t nearly funny . I Got my nails done Friday and Saturday it chipped . He promised me it wouldn’t chip that I was going to be okay . Then a day later it chips I drove 30 minutes to get the chip fixed to be told I have to come back tomorrow cause the person who did my nails wasn’t there. The person works for your store anyone should be able to fix a mistake someone did doesn’t matter if they didn’t do it , they are getting paid regardless . IM OFFICIALLY DONE WITH THIS PLACE . If you want to be disappointed then by all means come here , you’ll definitely get that .

Love this place. Not only are they quick, they do a good job and are always friendly. Ive been there a bunch of times and have never seen the place dirty, not once. They also do a fantastic job of eyebrow waxing, which is why I am now a loyal customer.

I started going here in the spring for gel manicures and loved them. My nails grew... I graduated to gel wraps on my real nails with gel polish. I tried several of the nail techs now I go to Leon. I like the way he does a slight turtle back on my nails, hes creative and personable. Everyone in here is very nice. They do have a fairly new nail tech here who was really nervous when he first started and is getting better by the day he did my last pedi. He is the owners (Tony) nephew. I would recommend Star. Go a few times try different techs until you find the one you like.

First visit and last, the place is not customer friendly l asked for a design and they were so rude especially who l think was the manager, l felt disrespected. The pedicure is not even a good one and the prices are not compatible with the level of service. I will stick to spending my money at an establishment that values their customers not belittles them.

I have been going to Star Nail since I moved to the area in 2014. I adore the owner and staff. They treat you like family and greet you by name as you walk in the door. I hesitated to post my review until now ONLY because they are one of my best kept beauty secrets in OC.

Been a faithful follower of one of the workers for years..he drilled too hard and fast..cas using pain and burning...after pulling hand away and asking him to go easy...the vietnamese started....he finished quickly.. and went to pay and tip him...he only took payment..didnt want tip.. and said dont come back..he wasnt ever going to do my nails again....i was floored..and paid..and never went back....6 out of my 10 nails lifted and snapped...no tips..my own long nails....never again.........

It seems like every time I make an appointment. They always seem to cant find it in there book.They charge way too much Jel polish. The hands are 7.00 more and the toes are 15.00 more. Talk about over charging you. Whats the difference between 10 finger and 10 toes? Can someone answer me?

I just went to the salon today and I will never go there again! I had a fill done and I felt like it was super rushed. My nails were filed terribly. The gel is bumpy on my nails and I literally paid 45? For what? DO NOT waste your money or time here.

Their new location is very nice with all new chairs and equipment. Thats the only good thing about this salon. My pedicure and manicure both came out as if I had done them myself. No price list is posted in the salon and they dont even have brochures telling you their services. My friend and I felt like we were ripped off when a basic mani-pedi came out to $38 before tip. We are used to paying $25-$30 for better results. Additionally, you cant tip on your credit card which is infuriating. Too bad they didnt revamp their techs and prices along with their new location. Ill continue to drive to Monroe for my nail and waxing services since YH Nail does the best job for a great price.

Did a horrible job came in twice within a week to get my nails done. They were popping off paid them for the service to fix them call to complain ask to fix my nails free paid twice and my nails popped off owner very rude never again found a great nail tech in Middletown area Janeyliz Creationz who does w wonderful job nails last a long time !!

PLEASE READ:CONSUMER BEWARE= I had went there last week on my visit back to N.Y. I got a full set and pedicure. The pregnant woman used absolutely no cuticle softner when pushing back my cuticle and no cuticle oil after buffing my nails. No soap to scrub my feet either. Just a little half spoon of expholiant and a weak used scrubber.Thats it.She also didnt give a good message ( which is why I paid for a pedicure). The pedicure maybe took 15 min paint and all. I didnt complain I just let it go because I felt bad that shes pregnant and having to bend on top of her baby. She then does my full set and puts the tips on super quick and didnt SIZE them to where they sit on my nail correctly. She rushed the full set as well and with paint and all took 30min. I am an ex nail tech and everything she was doing was terrible and rushed,meanwhile there was no clients coming in to rush for. Aswell in the pedicure you pay for the products that they are supposed to use on you. Very stingy,cheap,and unsanitary. I however gave the woman a $10 tip and paid $60 for 45 min worth of work .I then get home and 3 of my nails popped off. Only the tips of the nails came off on all 3 of them. I still have the rest of the acrylic stuck on my nail beds. I felt very cheated rather than treated. Now I have to pay more money for a whole new full set because the tips are all coming off. DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY,PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

This is the worst place Ive ever gotten my nails. It literally looked like someone chewed gum and stuck it to my nails. Every single on one is crooked, lumpy & stuck to my skin. They kept using the tool till i was bleeding and only stopped Bec I complained heavily. And when I tried to tell them all he would say was it look good. Ull be most beautiful girl at party My nails looked disgusting. & when I tried to tell the man who sat by the desk he got annoyed and was giving me additude as he fixed them (meaning he did nothing to fix the situation) it was extremely over priced for the horrible service they provided.
