This mechanic shop is truly the best in town. Great customer service, great atmosphere, and great prices. This mechanic shop is the only place I have been to in Miami that actually fixes what is wrong with your car. All these other shops make you pay for stuff that you dont need just so they can get more money out of you. I have been taking my car here now for a couple of years and I have never been mistreated or left disappointed. Not to mention, the owner Manny is a hell of a guy. He always offers his customers food from the bakery and even opens up the soda machine at his shop to give us free soda or tea. Stay away! They tried to rip me off! I went there yesterday to have the tires rotated on my Mustang GT based on the good reviews. When I got there I told them what I wanted and they asked me the model of my car and said they could do it. A half hour later they took me to see my car on the lift and said that I needed new tires and did I want to buy them today. I said no since I dont need new tires (The wear indicators show I do not need tires). Then they said I needed an alignment and did I want it today. I said no since the car doesnt need an alignment. (The car does not pull to one side or the other and tracks perfectly) Then they said they could not rotate the tires because it was an expensive car like a Mercedes, and the only thing that can be done is to put on new tires. (Then why did they tell me they could rotate the tires when I came in and told them the model of my car?) They said on this high performance car, tires are not supposed to be rotated, only replaced. I knew this was a lie and told them to put the car back on the ground, and to let me leave. They again tried to tell me I needed new tires. I just read the Ford owners manual. Page 215 states the tires are to be rotated and describes how. Stay away from these guys. They tried to rip me off. Went in for an alignment at 4:30 pm on a Friday. 5 guys huddled in the mechanic bay literally not working on anything one hour before closing. Told me to come back the next day. I definitely will not. I love how people turn away business!

Had to go there for two new tires. The guy changed them pretty quick but didnt say a word when he was finished. He had me waiting there an extra 20 min thinking hes was still doing it. I go in to ask about my car, guy tells me straight up oh yea I lowered your car for you to drive out of here. I finished 20 min ago. like seriously?

Junior and Govi got my compressor replaced on my Saturn 2002. I have A/C again! Junior was extremely helpful and friendly, and I was grateful for his english because my spanish skills are limited. Thank you for the great experience.

Best price and service. I went to other places amd it would either take 3 days to get the tire for my van or they were way too expensive. On top of that they even fixed the bottom of my car. Definitly 5 star service. Thanks Rj

Rip Off artists. I went there to get my tints done. I asked specifically for 3M tints. They said they had it and asked me for a price that was commensurate with what I had paid for 3M on other cars so I agreed but as soon as they put up the paper on the first window it was obvious they were using some cheap tint and it wasnt 3M. No logo and it looked like cheap garbage tint to boot. I reminded them that I wanted 3M, thinking it was a mistake and long story short the guy not only tried to insist it was an economy version of 3M but he got all offended by my insinuation. This is not bad service its straight up dishonest cheating of customers. Do not go there and if you do, you get what you deserve.

After hearing daily ads on the Catholic Radio I decided to try it out. It seems to be located at the end of a cruddy strip mall, hard to identify, and I wound up at Bird Paint & Body Center, wrong place.. They told me to go back out on Bird Road, make a right at SW 109 AV and turn right at a small sign saying Bird Tire & Auto Center. I continued along the narrow lane where it curved to the right and I found myself in what is obviously the back of the center, no office, no furniture, nothing. I asked a man standing there and he told me to park my car to the right and wait. I waited over 10 minutes. I asked a mechanic what to do and he said, wait, Ill attend to you shortly. Another 10 minutes and I left. So much for the glowing radio ad. Parishioners beware!

I have never met a more honest mechanic. He once let me take his personal car to run home and grab my checkbook. Who trusts people like that in this city?!

Absolutely terrible experience. I was quoted one price, and when I went to check on the progress, they told me that the price had increased. I told them that I no longer wanted to do the job since I could not afford it. They would not give me my car back! I am filing a formal complaint. Avoid this place at all costs.Update: When a customer declines additional service, and you refuse to let them leave the shop with their vehicle, that is not an honest thing to do.

It was horrible went there they told me it will cost me 50.dollars for estimate they kept the car for a week i kept calling and they still did not know i have a nissan frontier was running but the engine was stolling well after days they said it was timing chain. And variable valve and timing actuator final estimate was2,563.42 +179.44 tax. Well i took my car back but the estimate which i have cost me 65. Dollars and was badly written they also told me i needed a new battery all lies.Do Not Recommend place.

Worst service that you can find in miami- bought 4 new tires- one tire did not go with the set, had to go back and get the correct tire- steering wheel was shaking really bad, went back at least 6 times to see what the issue was- re-did the alignment, rebalanced the tires the whole 9 yards- mechanic says i see some more repairs, so i go to a firestone shop and they check it out and say nothing is wrong with my truck must be the tires- i call bird tire and auto and explain i want to buy new tires at firestone and return the ones they sold me as theyre no good, the mechanic says ok so i buy new tires at firestone and guess what!? PROBLEM SOLVED- i show up to return the bad tires and the owner says he wont do it, even after all the bs ive been through with them, and getting the return approved over the phoneTHANKS BIRD ROAD AND TIRE- FOR LEAVING ME WITH 500$ WORTH OF CHINESE TIRES THAT ARE NOT ROAD SAFEworst customer experience ive ever had to deal with

Unfortunately, the Computer guy below missed a few details of the transaction, which were that he did not do any work and still wanted to charge us for it. In addition, he and his friend came by the following night and glued all our outside locks so that they all had to be changed. We have video survelliance that caught them in the act and we showed it to the police, which asked if I wanted to press charges.. We decided not to press charges as they were not worth our time. Computer guy then called me a couple of times to threaten me, and I invited him each time to come and tell me face to face, which he never did. I have actually been going to this place regularly for approximately the last 5 years. When I first started going there, their main service tech was Salvador. He was a very honest and straightforward guy. I bought him quite a few soft drinks out the machine. Anyway, always fair, prompt, courteous and very reasonable. And yes, Manny (the owner) is a great guy to deal with as well. Extremely fair minded and he will go the extra distance to take care of you. I used to go frequently but I have stopped going and below, are the reasons why.The last time I was there, they hired a new service tech guy named Junior. So Junior diagnoses my problem and shows me his cute little computer program which shows that the labor for the job would take about one hour and cost $250 (maybe at a dealership). However, Junior was unable to quote me the part because he had to check it out. Well the next day he tells me that the part alone is $600. Went to Pep Boys and they had the same part for $150. The approximate hour to do the work was about right though. I finally got the job done for about $100 total after doing some homework, versus Juniors $850. The work required, did not have to be done Juniors way. Found another mechanic who explained how to fix this problem quickly and cheaply. Sorry Junior, but Bird Road Tire is not the type of place to be charging dealer rates. If I am going to spend that kind of money, im going to the dealership. No intent is being made to implicate Manny here, since I am unaware of his business relationship with Junior. But suffice it to say that yes, this shop was absolutely great while Salvador was there, but since he left, it has slowly started turning into a money machine. And unfortunately, I no longer trust what they tell me. The above incident is actually one of three that made me realize that this business has turned from a friendly local, reasonable place to have your car serviced into a pure money machine. I used to be able to get most repair jobs done at a reasonable rate. Not anymore. Sorry Manny, while I have the highest level of respect for you as an honest business owner, youve hired some guys that think auto mechanics should be making at least $100 an hour by jacking up parts and labor costs thru the roof. Once upon a time your shop was the best. Fast, dependable, honest, reasonable and professional. Not anymore. You are now approaching dealer rates and that is simply not going to work for a local shop such as yours. Just look at the people that are usually there, do they look like they can afford to spend crazy amounts of money to repair what are for the most part, old cars?And for the record, I too am a Christian, right-wing, conservative, tea partier. I would leave you my name and number but unfortunately, I will still use your shop for very minor repairs. Please read my comments above careful. They are not meant to harm your business but to point out that the focus of your company has drastically changed.

Moved to Miami from California a few months ago and after my long drive my truck needed a major tune-up. The the check engine light kept coming on an off and it felt like my Ford F150 5.4 V8 was only firing on four cylinders, I was a little scared in a new city with no mechanic.. So after going to a few places that were way overpriced I was talking to a cashier at a grocery store she told me about Bird Tire and Auto so I decided to take my truck aka my Baby to Bird Tire and Auto to have my repairs done. I arrived with no appointment and a lot to do that day the Owner Manny was very helpful worked with me on the pricing, gave me the best price over the other shops that quoted me and the mechanics WOW they diagnosed the problem in minutes with some fancy tool the plugged into my trucks computer. within no time they had me back one the road with the replacement of spark plugs, cables along with the coil pack for each cylinder. I also had them replace the air filter along with an oil change and why not since they offer a free oil change after you buy five. Now my truck is running stronger than ever with better gas mileage.Now some time passes and its time for tires when I arrived Manny quoted me a great price but then some bad news that I new was coming because my steering was loose and I was driving like I was a sloppy sailer, they told me my tie rods along with ball joints need to be replaced and I didnt need to second guess because of the great job and quality service they provided the first time. Now with my truck sitting on new rubber and the steering components replaced it feels like Im driving in a NASCAR Truck series truck.

Stay away! They are liers, NO GOOD! Went to get my ac fixed , last min price changed, a week later my ac stopped working , when I called them they gave me the run around and didn’t help me fix it. Ended up taking my car somewhere else.

A star is too much for this services that unfortunate years taking my cars there to have a bad time, they left my car locked with the keys inside, I could contact the owner to come open since one of his employees told me that at 4:30 they closed, I arrive saying that I was a liar and another person who was also there with the car locked up, my husband was with me when they arrived to open and told him that they could not do that and the man told him haughtily a liar, my husband was upset and argued with him so the owner sent me a message saying that he did not return to that place and that if he had been there my husband would fall, really unfortunate to use a symbol Christian at your place when you are the least professed, shame you should feel

Erroneous diagnoses in your favor 60 dollars for an erroneous diagnosis do not go to that place

The workers there have a very bad attitude I went to change the oil in my car and I did not see where the oil they were changing fell and when I asked the mechanic I also heard the voice and told me in a pot but the place that always I have seen that they made it was out of the corresponding place then another one came and told me to go to the office I told him that I was a client there but he would not return because of his bad attitude and I still do not know if they changed it because I did not see that they open no new oil knob they take advantage when they see a woman alone .. Mr. Many that employee who has worked there for many years and had never experienced that attitude with any client or with me of course lost a client for years

This is the most thief and shameless workshop I have ever visited ... I was in trouble for a flat tire and I got there and to my surprise they charged me $ 30 for a punch and on top of that I got to pay and they asked how much they told you they charged. ..they cannot be more shameless as in the office and the person who charges will not know what each thing costs .... THIEVES AND SINSTERGUENZA IS WHAT THEY ARE .... if I could give it any star I would give it.
