Ive expected that the merchandise here was cheap junk but its been verified. My son took a liking to some of thier knives and spent his own money on a couple of knives there. One of them loosened almost to pieces over only two days of him fiddling with it. He litterally cut open the tape on one box. We took it in a couple of weeks later, because we have better things to do, and were told by an extremely rude troll that we were out of luck. Once it leaves the store they dont give a dang because thats all they reasonably expect this trash to last. Dont go there and certainly dont buy the junk.

Nice guy in the store. Came in with a broken knife that I bought at a gun show. Went in to get it fixed and after 25 minutes it was fixed. Made it 5 feet out of the store and it broke again. Went back in and 20 min. later it was fixed but ruined. When fixing it, he was banging it on the table and tore up the knife. Very disappointed but the knife did get fixed. Should have just given me a new one like what was promised at the gun show.

Aweful customer service, when looking at an object a worker refused to sell to me, I’m an adult and she blatantly refused. I had picked up a sword and after being told to place it back I did, and answered “but i want to see if I want to buy it” this was all it took for her to feel disrespected and kick me out of the store, when I really wanted to buy a sword for my restaurants display. Very childish.

This is an amazing place with great weapon quality, just went there to buy a katana and not only are the prices great but the customer assistance was good too. Great buy and great staff will buy from their again!

If you read some of the reviews theyre insanely unfair, like derp I broke my knife and he couldnt fix it derp give a free knife I didnt buy from you.Ill judge for myself some time.

If I could give them a NEGATIVE rating I wouldnt hesitate to give them a MINUS TEN! Purchased four knives at a gun show. Their card says LIFETIME WARRANTY AGAINST MANUFACTURING DEFECTS AND FAILURE UNDER REASONABLE USAGE. Sent one of the knives back within one month of purchase and it was received 1/27/2020. On 3/17/2020, called to inquire when the knife would be returned and was told its on the bosss desk waiting to be mailed. On 6/18/2020, called to inquire again and was told its still sitting on the bosss desk. 6/23/2020, pick it up and it was not repaired. When called was informed that portion of the knife is not repairable. NO NOTIFICATION was received in over 5 months saying that this knife would not be repaired! If it isnt repairable WHY DO YOU OFFER A LIFETIME WARRANTY????!!!!! REPLACE the knife if you wont REPAIR it!!!! TERRIBLE customer service on the phone (if youre able to even get someone on the phone!!!) and rude service in the store.****Edit after owner response - Interesting that you had no way of contacting me as I have a copy of the warranty card that was sent with the returned knife, CLEARLY with an address and email written on the card with the $5 requested for repair and return. AND why was this not communicated when your store was contacted, numerous times (3/17, 6/18) AND 6/23 WHEN THE KNIFE WAS PHYSICALLY PICKED UP AT YOUR STORE????Bottom line is that when the knives were purchased the LIFETIME WARRANTY is WORTHLESS! Honor your word.

I bought an otf knife from a traveling salesmen for $70 in kingman Arizona today and I am a lil mad/sad. The blade will not retract back in. I took it apart cleaned what was already clean to begin with and it still won’t retract back. This wasn’t even after a day a retracting it back and forth.

I heard these guys do knife sharpening and dropped all of my knives off, called back a week and a half later and they hadn’t even started. I stopped by to pick them up and the lady said if I left them there they could possibly be done in four weeks but she never really knows what her boss is doing or when things will be finished. Crazy. It’s a dirty weird teenager place.

I have only went there twice in one day and it was with two friends. The first time I went the woman working was pleasant and answered all the questions we had. The second time we went on the other hand it was worse the woman there looked like she didnt want to be there and was not pleasant at all. When we asked questions it took her a moment for her to acknowledge our presence. I love the shop its great and sells some quality items but it really depends on what employee your dealing with that day. Besides that though it is a great shop quality items and much variety

Bought one of there own knives. Had an issue a few months later went back and turns out ot was a locking mechanism. They sell great high end products at very fair prices and very friendly. Will be back to buy more knives.

Very high quality products and friendly staff. Purchased a cane sword from them and it works excellently. I had it sharpened in store for free. Will definitely recommend for fellow sword and knife enthusiasts, as they have a large selection of swords, daggers, knives, and axes.

Im 13 years old and I have bought multiple knives from this store the otf and karambit knives are very nice but the balisongs are lower quality. I love this store and the young man who works there, he is informative funny and never rude. They also have some pretty awesome swords and cosplay items. Overall great store but quality of knives could be better :)

I purchased a Cutting Edge assisted opening knife at a gun show. The vendor said it was fully warrantied and if there was a problem take it to the Cutting Edge store at Superstition Springs mall in Mesa AZ. So thats where I took it when it stopped working. I walked in with a smile and told my problem to the lady behind the counter. Barbara said that yes, an entire shipment of knives had come in with defective spring assemblies. The store had been supplied with replacement spring assemblies. It took Barbara only a couple of minutes to replace the assembly in my knife. Barbara was very bright and cheerful throughout. I told her I must write her a good review. While she worked, I noted the store had many swords, Katanas, long knives, even axes on open display with Do Not Touch signs prominent. Barbara said thats were some of the bad reviews probably came from as many people cant resist handling these expensive sharp things and she must tell them not to. Because Barbaras fast cheerful service exceeded my expectations, five stars.

I used to love this shop. Ive been giving them my business for years now until today. The lady at the counter treated my fiance and I like hoodlums from the moment we walked into the store to buy Halloween items earlier today. In other words, we were visiting the store with the intention of spending money therein. Upon inspecting a lion taming type whip, the woman behind the counter shouts something to me (I assumed) about what its made from, when I responded, she said I wasnt talking to you, dude. In a very condescending tone. I thought little of it, thinking maybe shes having a long day. I continued to inspect the whip when she jumps up from behind the counter, over to me and down my throat about breaking it. (I couldnt have broken a Chinese finger trap with the way I was touching this item, which is not mine.) I told her I was just going to leave, and not going to return, being as cordial as I could in this situation, just wanting to be away from her at this point. She told me Good! and we left feeling shocked and hurt. I certainly hope this woman was not the owner as customer service holds no importance to her whatsoever and Cutting Edge at Superstition Springs Mall has lost my business all together as a result. Fire her or keep her in the back. 2 thumbs down.

The store was alright. Same with the lady at the front. But yesterday I bought a butterfly knife I got home and starting to play around with it cuz I got bored. But after using it for awhile a small screw popped out. Also I forgot to mention that when I first took it out it wasnt lined up with the lock that keeps the handles together so in conclusion I probably wouldnt buy a butterfly knife from there if I was you

You would think when you take a knife in to be SHARPENED it would be returned... SHARP. Nope its not sharp at all. Looks like he started to sharpen it then stopped half way though. Its not even on both sides either, one side is sharpened closer to the handle than the other side.

The place is awesome if your a melee weapon collector or you just want a knife, this store has a massive variety and you don’t even need to be looking for a blade, they do blade servicing and repair as well as custom orders, if you pay the price of course, overall this store is amazing if your looking into a new edge or if you need one repaired.

I appear to have reviewed the wrong store but from seeing the owners unprofessional response to others I will not change it as their attitude says enough ROFL 2 years later and youre still being a jerk to people in the comments. How do you even still have a store???

SUCKS DONT GO HERE!!!!!while trying to return a $70 knife I bought (that broke a day after I bought it!) the employee refused to refund my money, didnt want to give me a new knife and didnt know how to fix it. The best part is he wouldnt give me his managers phone number and refused to call the manager himself. THIS PLACE SUCKS! CHEAP KNIFES! TERRIBLE PRODUCTS! I hope nobody will give these people there hard earned money anymore....

I really liked this store until today. The lady at the front counter had a lot of attitude and treated me and my friend horribly. She needs to get fired or learn how to treat customers.

At no point was I thrown out of his store. At no point was I thrown out of the mall.He referred to me as a stalker for checking his Yelp profile in far more sinister personal messages. At no point did I disclose his name other people in the mall told me when they shared their very similar concerns about how uncomfortable that area feels due to his stores presence. Ive long let this go though this is the kind of person youre dealing with here. Theyre going to assume what your life entails, start making things up about you and rationalise nonexistent events. I wouldnt recommend going here, nor would I recommend reasoning with the owner unless you enjoy stunningly embarrassing, immature irony from someone willing to accuse you of mental disorder in private messages.]Like the store, want to support it, but the owner was a complete jerk to me for no apparent reason. Could not answer simple questions (may possibly because some of the merch is bootleg stuff from China or wherever else). At one point inquiring about the cost of something, he mockingly said I can make it more expensive for you if thats what you want, although Im paraphrasing here.While normally Id dismiss any retailer that says its customers are asking stupid questions (not paraphrasing here, direct quote), perhaps he was having a bad day. Dont expect any refunds/trades from this place either, and any blade that isnt a knife you want sharpened, Id suggest doing it yourself or finding someone else to do it, because the owner sharpened what I purchased in a very blunt fashion. Went home and did it to a functional extent myself.As for any concerns this business and its owner might have about its customers - you sell weapons in a mall NEXT TO A PLAY AREA FOR KIDS - pretty sure hospitality is something worth looking into.It appears I am not alone looking at the other reviews. Wonder what all the disparity is about? This place is horrible. I recently bought a balisong bottle opener and within a day it broke because of the screws inside. We noticed there were two different screws the owner put in a different type of screw just to sell it! It cant be tightened. Dont go here dont waste your money these people are horrible.

Shocked that this place is still in business. Very run down store with low quality products. Used to come and visit every time I was at the mall, now I avoid this place. Atrocious customer service as well.

Terribly run shop, bad products from China and high prices, was looking to buy something and started talking to the young man that worked there and he was talking about stealing from the owner because everyone hated him so much, very interesting experience.
