In the past I used Progressive and Geico, and they were decent. I began shopping around a few years ago when my rate increased (even though I had no accidents) for the 4th consecutive year and learned that Allstate was not only reasonable, but between the homeowners insurance and car, it was actually the better deal. The customer service is top notch and the addition of my own agent was definitely an added bonus (thanks Terrie Greene!). If you are looking to switch insurance companies or want to shop around to see what is available, try giving them a call. You will be pleasantly surprised.
