They seem to not return calls when their clients are at fault. I see comment after comment in regards to this lack of integrity within the company. Is this really who you want to handle your insurance?!?! Have some decency and stop hiding from us.

My car was hit by a member of this auto owners insurance. I was contacted the next day by a claims adjuster to confirm my information and to give my account of what happened. I then was contacted from a Tyler Hildebrandt letting me know that auto owners is excepting responsible for the claim and he was going to be the adjuster handling this claim. Handle is what he didnt do... after several calls no response from Tyler Hildebrandt I ask to talk to another adjuster and was given Nicolas Cracker who I thought was going to resolve this.. NO, I was wrong. I called and ask for a supervisor Heather Keitsman who hasnt returned several messages. I know now if Im ever involved with anyone who has this insurance company to run and use my own insurance and let my insurance deal with all this inept service. Auto owners is a joke!!!

I and my whole family have had auto owners insurance here in Mesa for years... we recommend it to everyone we know. Literally pays claims out almost to a fault. And you get huge discounts when you have multiple policies. LOVE!

I have had nothing but the best of experiences with Auto Owners. We are agent for them and about 50 other insurance carriers. I have witnessed, time and time again, Auto Owners treat our mutual clients the way I would want them to treat my own parents. Truly a top-shelf company.

I was rear ended by someone insured by them, it was quickly determined that it was their insured fault, a total loss, the amount of the claim that was supposed to be paid out, then I was completely dropped while I waited for them to pay out the total loss. It is now in month 3 since the accident, nobody answers or returns my phone calls or emails. Nobody has any answers about what the status is. This is the worst company to every deal with. Im thankful I wasnt hurt because I cant imagine how difficult they would be to deal with if I had medical issues too. Horrible company, horrible service, totally unprofessional. I dont feel like they deserve even one star, but thats not an option.

I was rear-ended by their insured 3 weeks ago, i was assigned to adjuster Nicholas i immediately called received a vm recording that he be out of the office for 2 weeks and will not have access to vm/email, i called and left the manager Heather a vm and then was sent to Robert S he has not returned one email Ive sent 5 or returned a phone call. I called again left a vm with Heather no response after now reading all these horrible reviews and my experience theyre truly the worst insurance company that Ive dealt with, I would never recommend them. If you are an insurer with them run they will not have your back and will cost you more in the long run in alawsuit im certain. Id give 0 starts if allowed.

Add me to the long list of negative reviews of this company. What good is having homeowners insurance if they wont cover what you need? Had two roofers tell me we have hail damage but amazingly their inspectors find no damage at all! Canceled and moved on to another company. Will never refer them to anyone!

This is the worst company that I have EVER dealt with. It was nearly impossible to get a call back from the claims adjuster and when I did she was extremely rude and unprofessional. I kept thinking it is bad enough for her to treat people in this manner but WHERE IS MANAGEMENT?If you are reading this review and shopping for insurance, I am strongly recommending you find another insurance company.

Their adjusters are programmed to ignore claims for many weeks until the customer gets tired of waiting and deny just about everything in the claim normally covered in the policy. I wouldnt wish this company to anyone. We had our insurance for two cars as well as homeowners insurance with them for many years. I feel it was a total waste of premium for nothing. The adjuster Bradly Howard ignored my calls for weeks at a time after the claim was submitted and at the end he simply denied everything, after telling me that have everything repaired out of my pocket and wait to be reimbursed when the claim is approved. Save yourself the hassle when you most needed your insurance, stay away from Home Owners Insurance Company for Homeowners Insurance or your Auto Insurance Policies. They are crooks, out to get your money, they dont believe in paying claims.

I am sorry to read that others had a bad experience. Everyone is quick to complain but today I am taking time out of my day to COMPLIMENT and to tell the world that I had A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE dealing with Auto-Owners Insurance. I was rear ended by one of their policyholders and I had NO TROUBLE at all. My little car is all fixed with no issues and stress. I even got reimbursed for a tow that was indirectly related to the accident. My fuel gauge was damaged and I ran out of gas cause it displayed full. It was determined damaged due to the accident. I was fearful I was going to have to fight to my death to get it repaired...and reimbursed get the tow reimbursed. NOPE....all went very well. Thank you Suzanne Harris for taking wonderful care of me. This a true and honest review.

I had auto owners insurance for over 6 years in never had such a poor customer service experience until this. The agent I was assigned in Phoenix, Robert S. ignored me for weeks, never had the courtesy to return my calls. Then, I spoke with Heather, claims manager, very nasty actitud. They should improve their customer service skills and teach their agents to respond to their customers; after all its for customers like us that you all have a job. Keep that in mind.

I was read ended by one of their insured. After 16 days of my assigned rep not returning my calls to follow up on the report the accident, I finally reached her to just be told oh just go get an estimate and pics and send it in. Never heard from her again. I called in to get a supervisor to get a rep that said I can transfer your file and assist you. He Too didnt follow up. After a month I finally got him. Took 3 months to get paid. The entire time I was driving my truck damaged!! NEVER GET INSURANCE FROM AUTO OWNERS!!

Repeatedly changed my premium amounts throughout the year! Have their app and I turned off auto pay and they kept turning it back on and sucking double payments out of my account. Insurance agent telling me they have bad billing. Don’t trust them!

I have filed a claim and this has been the longest process. The claims adjuster ignored me for a week before finally answering me. I gave him all the information then after another week they finally accepted their customer was at fault. Add another week for the inspection now still waiting on a rental car with no answer after several calls and emails.

Terrible company to work with. I was in an auto accident with one of their insured (He hit me) and the claims handlers are TERRIBLE. Unresponsive, rude, and generally seem like they dont care about anything other than closing your case. Mine IGNORED my Demand letter for 5 months, and only responded after I followed up TWICE via email. Now theyre offering me a tiny settlement and arent willing to negotiate. Do NOT do business with this terrible company.

Scam artists... we have a claim against one of their insured, and have been making daily phone calls to them for 4 weeks, with no return calls... none... zero. They just want us to go away so they will not have to pay a claim. Stay away from this business!

My vehicle Got damaged from one of their insured, it’s been two weeks my vehicle is down, they told me to get estimates and did and will cost 3200, to 6k dollars and Nicholas Kracher said they will pay 1800 dollars and that’s it, very rude disrespectful does not return emails or phone calls this place is a joke stay away.
