After a year and a half of services, I can honestly say that Im very disappointed with the results. The first half of my treatments, I had several unexperienced technicians. Every time I informed my technician of no changes in hair growth, I was met with explanations of why my hair growth wasnt changing and at times attitudes from the technicians. I finally found a technician who provides outstanding customer service, is very knowledgeable and through. With three months remaining of my package and still spotty areas, I was informed that I could extend my membership until I was happy with the results. I would caution anyone thinking about having services with this company to reconsider and find a place that employees knowledgeable, competent, and skilled employees, and is able to deliver on their promises. I honestly think had I had skilled, competent and knowledgeable techs I would have been further along in my hair removal process. Not to mention, because I paid this off prior to contract end date, I am now subjected to other charges should I continue with them. Overall, Im left with making a decision to continue with this company until I see the results I want, of course at an additional price or find another place who can deliver on their word. Im honestly afraid of spending more money at this place due to my experience. Good luck.

I would highly recommend Simplicity Laser in Meridian 🥰 I’ve had nothing but excellent service. The manager is amazing and was incredibly helpful in assisting me in resolving a small issue with my package that I purchased. Instead of just taking my money they were honest in letting me know that my facial hair was to light for the laser and I would be better off choosing another area to invest in with my package. All the technician gals are fabulous and friendly ❤️ I love how informative they are concerning the process. They make you feel like you achieving your best results is their number one priority.

Had been going for almost a year with zero results. Every visit was with a new technician being trained or just new all around. With that being said, not one appointment was ever alike. There was no consistency at all. Not a professional establishment considering the services rendered.

Ever time I go in for an appointment the girls are all so nice. They do a great job and ask me about my progress each appointment. They help to determine the course of action for each appointment to make sure I’m getting the best results.

UPDATEYou can judge from the pictures of how my hair looks like now after three years and paying more than $3000 for simplicity. the hair is still the same. I contacted the higher managers many times and complained about the poor results and I got no help at all. I JUST LOST MY MONEY AND TIME. For your reference please dont work with Christian at Meridian location because she is the most unprofessional person you would ever meet. I regret this experience and hope each one reading my review to learn from my experience. For those who said that the treatment is so comfortable is because the heat is super low and is not effective at all. Please save yourself a sorry you deserve better treatment and results. I just ended my membership after 3 years with the same hair that I already have before starting the treatments.The worst experience ever you can find at simplicity, Ive been there for almost 3 years now and I have dark and thick hair so the laser should work for me, but the staff put the setting very low to keep you coming and paying with no results ever. I used to go to the Pleasant Grove clinic. Since I moved to Meridian, I love the service! Milli has always been a great rep. She answers all my questions every time. I always feel confident that I can refer a friend and Milli will take care of them perfectly. And to add an extra bonus, the manager, Christine, at the Meridian clinic is awesome! She is involved with every customer and shows great leadership.Also, the laser hair removal works great! I would guess that those that didnt have perfect success are not following instructions, etc. It works great!!

I was hesitant about laser hair removal initially, so I really did my research when it came to the different clinics in the Boise area. I read a ton of reviews and then I decided to take a leap of faith and sign simplicitys 18-month contract. I have nothing but amazing things to say about their staff. Shout out to Christine who is always so warm and welcoming! I was really nervous when I first started treatment and every single one of the techs have made me feel so comfortable and welcome. The rooms are clean and well kept. Plus, I am seeing great results 7 months out. So much so, that I just recently upgraded my membership. Thank you simplicity team! Thank goodness I didnt buy into their monthly contract they are always pushing on me. I get a different technician each time and not only do they try to push the contract but they try to push their lotions and products. The big blond front desk lady is the rudest! While waiting i heard her telling someone that she wasnt talking to them and to go back into the room. She is first impression when I enter that place and why would I want to continue laser with Simplicity or buy their products. When my 6 Groupon treatments are done there are plenty of other friendlier places.

I don’t really feel like my laser treatment did anything. After finishing up my 18mo appointments on the Brazilian area and underarms a couple weeks ago I still have tons of hair. They said I could purchase more appointments, but with the lack of results I saw I decided it was a waste of money. My Brazilian area in particular still has dark course hair everywhere, it’s only slightly thinner and I still have had to shave everyday. On my underarms the hair follicles are thinner, but still grow everywhere. I wouldn’t waste my time or money here again. The only good thing I can say is the staff is nice, but the actual service lacks.

I have been coming for about a year and have noticed great results, I still have to shave but it is very infrequent, and I seem to be making great progress. The staff is always been great and friendly, nice facility. Would recommend!

Very bad customer service only thinking about money and not about client

I do not generally go out of my way to write a poor review, but in this case I felt it was needed. I saw bad reviews prior to signing a contract with Simplicity, but I thought hey - there’s always an angry customer. I was a customer for 22 months and I am the ideal customer for laser hair removal! After 6-8 months of no noticeable change in my hair, I began to complain. Yes, I’m sure every time they saw me on the books they dread their appointment with the unhappy customer. Not once was I disrespectful. Still, no change in my hair, even after multiple reviews of my progress with the manager. I was told they would extend my membership for a month for free while they came up with a detailed treatment plan, which I was grateful for! However, I was never called with a “plan,” nor was I told on my next appointment. I also showed up for my last few appointments on the wrong day even after I had received confirmation calls for my appointments at the times I had shown up, but they would not make the time to see me anyways. The employee turnover is horrible. Someone is always in training working on you and they never understand the settings. Just when you get a tech that you like that seems to know what they are doing, they’re gone, and every time I stood in the waiting room with a fellow client they always seemed equally unhappy with their services. I went to a different hair removal company and they offered to take $1,500 off of my package because I was the third Simplicity client who had come in for a quote that WEEK. PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not waste your time or money - you get what you pay for!

I have left maybe 5 bad reviews my whole life, Including this one. I started at simplicity because my step mom started going, and she told me about it. I was super excited and started, signed my 18 month contract. EVERYTIME I went they had different employees, never the same ones. No one was on the same page at all and hard to get an answer to a question. My contract just ended and now I’m back to shaving this area everyday! Everytime I went in, I told them that I still have thick patchy hair, I showed them, and they kept scheduling me farther apart. Not to mention when I first started going a girl named Alex burned me on my chin! I was so excited to finally get rid of unwanted hair, but all I did was waste my money.

As a former tech at this establishment I would highly recommend seeking out a different place for hair removal. This company barely invests any time in training, and because of this people receive very very poor treatments. The company purposely sets “Parameters” extremely low for the technicians to follow, not for client safety, but so people are forced Into memberships which makes the company more money. The upper management treats the staff horribly, and doesn’t allow them to work full time so they don’t have to provide benefits. If you want quality, good treatments, and want to invest your money in a company with integrity I would highly recommend not receiving any treatments from simplicity laser. There are many medical spas in the valley that have a company based on integrity and client care/safety, at Simplicity you’re just a dollar sign to them. The services are cheap for a reason; And when you’re getting a treatment done to your body, making a better investment in a different company is going to be way more beneficial. They also push everyone to buy “Restorative gel” and say it’s needed for treatments, which isn’t true, at all.

The facility and staff of the Village Meridian location are lovely. But overall, I have been disappointed. I had laser hair removal with moderate success on other areas, and this did not compare. I have not had any identifiable change (and I took before pics). The hair remains the same texture, thickness, and appearance. While I get different locations on the body yield different results, there was absolutely no change. Further, scheduling is a challenge. You have to call Utah to schedule and are not transferred to the local office. It feels like finding an appointment time is hard (and I have Mondays and Tuesdays off) and usually ends up being a week or two following what I hoped or expected. No disrespect to Simplicity, but I honestly dont recommend them.

The facility is nice and they have up to date equipment. The issue is with the technicians. They move the laser too fast and therefore, results are patchy and not thorough. At prior places, I would have 200 pulses (with the same laser machine) on my face but at Simplicity I only have about 50. I get my face done and I ask to have the Alex laser but they keep doing the YAG. The Alex gives me better results. They also set the laser too low and don’t listen when I’ve been having laser done for YEARS and need it at a higher power. ::: One last critique would be they don’t have very good lighting. They need an esthetician light with a magnifier so they can pay better attention to detail (on faces) instead of using the overhead fluorescent lights on the ceiling.

Simplicity Laser gave me a wonderful experience as a former employee. They go above and beyond for their customers to make laser hair removal affordable for everyone. They also did an incredible job keeping customers informed and updated with the closures from COVID-19 and what new requirements were expected for reopening. They took care of their employees and continued paying them during that time of closure. Not many companies were able to do that or afford that, and I think that says a lot about simplicity as a company and how much they care about their employees and customers. Thank you Simplicity Laser for a great experience from an employee’s perspective!

They are rude, if i didnt want the unwanted hair gone as badly as i do i would NEVER go back. They make you feel as if you are inconveniencing them because you showed up for the appointment you paid for.

I have been going to simplicity for three years, and have invested in the packages. I have dark, course hair and have followed all the advice they gave me. Three years later, I am still shaving everything weekly. You get what you pay for. Do your research and read reviews before you invest. I have also seen a 100% staff turnover in those three years which is always a red flag to me.

I am usually a very understanding customer because i get that everyone has bad days but man do i regret choosing this place for my second treatment of laser hair removal. I had a wonderful experience at another clinic and i saw this place on groupon so i decided to give it a try... first off i got the old bait and switch.. once i got there ended up having to pay double what i already invested in the groupon. Then my toddler got sick and they dont have an answering machine to leave a message and they require 48 hour notice for all cancellations!!! So i lost one of my paid appts. They have the worst customer service (i will say 2 of the techs are very sweet and hopeful)!! Buyer beware!!!!

So many people told me most people need 9 treatments to get rid of the hair some people may need 12. I got 12 and still have peach fuzz talk about a waste of money!!! And their laser hurts alot!!! I requested from the start to have the same person every appointment so they know my growth cycle yup never happened was a different person every time. The own manager at my 9th appointment when they do a check in said my results werent where they should be for 9 appoinments. Ive been told by other places in town that the reason their laser hurts so much is because its outdated. Please go elsewhere I am now having to go else where to finish the job they could not do please do not go here horrible experience!!!

This place is really professional and clean looking. The staff are friendly. I like their reminder system too. The cost is really inexpensive!! I bought a package off of Groupon. Just two recommendations for the owner/manager- 1. Have a mirror in the treatment room 2. Give written detailed post laser treatment instructions with recommendations for products with prices.

Terrible place, there is a huge difference in the way they treat people before and after buying the package. When they try to get people to buy, they are all polite and helpful, after buying the package they are rude and make you beg for appointments

Oh I wish I wouldve read the reviews before getting caught up in this mess. I purchased a groupon for a small facial area. When I went in for my first appointment, I was told the small area only included my chin, not the part underneath, so I was upsold another $25/month. I was 10 minutes late to my appointment due to construction traffic and parking only to be told that they didnt have time to treat me and that I could come back in 45 minutes. I dont have the luxury of waiting around for 45 minutes.... I have a job.Come to find out that the additional $25/mo also put me into a contract that will now cost $199 to cancel. I find it extremely ironic that they expected us to be flexible and keep paying our monthly fees during the COVID shutdown, but they cant be flexible by 10 minutes.... unbelievable.

Absolutely the worst customer service. I had an upcoming appointment which I had to reschedule due to health issues. They told me that they are not able to reschedule or I would need to pay $20 to keep the treatment. So I need to pay extra for a service I have paid already in order to not lose it. I took the time to call them, let them know that I cant the make the appointment because I am not feeling well, and they tell me that I will lose the treatment unless I pay extra $20. That’s not how businesses treat their customers. Besides the terrible customer service they do a very poor job, after a year of going I still don’t have any results. Save your money and time and go somewhere esle.

Simplicity is simply the best! I have a membership and have seen great results through consistent treatments. I was a bit skeptical it would truly work because my hair is so thick and course and stubborn. The techs care about my results and health, making adjustments when necessary to provide results without compromising safety. All the staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and sweet. From the gals in the front, to the techs, to management, they are personable and professional.Additionally, Im extremely picky about my face and tend to be a bit of a product snob. Ive received many spa facials all over various places and different spas. None compare to the effectiveness and results Ive seen with the medical grade facials at Simplicity. My skin looks and feels so smooth and healthy. My tone has evened out, my age marks are fading, the texture of my skin has gotten smoother, and my face has a healthy glow.Overall, Ive been pleased with the services and products at Simplicity and I highly recommend it!

I did an 18 month laser hair removal package... the staff were always great and professional and the facility is clean and welcoming... with all that said I still have so much hair remaining... I still have to shave often... they say I can pay for more treatments... after 18 I should be pretty clear of hair they assured when I first signed up.. although some sections aren’t clear they are thinner but then I have spots that seems like nothing was done...

Before treatments, my life was awful. I had to shave my face twice per day, which left me in excruciating pain, and my body pretty much every other day. Life has sure changed though in Ive been having treatments for 6 months now - full body. Im on a 2 year program, I think. The price is a great deal, and Im already seeing real results. The hair is patchy or non-existent in many places already, most notably the chest.The staff are super friendly. I know all their names, they greet me by name, and I usually get the same professional to treat me each time, so the consistency is nice. I also like that they are willing to work with me on scheduling.I feel like the pain is manageable - the staff have lots of helpful tips to help prep and minimize discomfort. That being said, there was one botch time I got treated where I broke out in hives for a couple of days, but this was like my second time and I think it was just because I was super sensitive.What I appreciate MOST from these ladies is their level of sensitivity and grace when it comes to making me feel comfortable. Its not easy being naked in front of others - but they have always maintained a high level of professionalism, leaving me still with a feeling of dignity when I leave.When summer comes and I am rocking that bikini, I am buying these ladies a cake for sure. Grateful doesnt even cover it.

I am so happy that I chose Simplicity for laser hair removal! I was really unsure what to expect, but I am already seeing results after 3 treatments. My hair is growing back much more slowly and the texture is less coarse, meaning I only shave about once a week! The staff at Simplicity has been incredibly professional and kind. I have had a different technician each time, and they have all been wonderful. When I originally signed up, I was going to do full legs. I learned that my hair is likely too light on the upper legs, and the ladies helping me made it incredibly easy to remove this from my plan and get my money back from the first payment. I appreciate that this company cares about the customer and is not just looking to make more money.I have quite a few more treatments to go, but I will post an updated review when I am finished.

Gosh, Simplicity was unexpectedly an awesome experience!!! I had never had hair laser services before, but was given a gift certificate for them. From the fluid appointment scheduling, the relaxing and sanitized setting, the informative/helpful and friendly staff...to the great laser hair results...I am one VERY happy and satisfied customer!!! And the prices did not leave me broke. I routinely recommend Simplicity to many of my friends and acquaintances!

I have been a client for well over a year. Originally for facial hair, I have updated my package this year to full body. Honestly, the facial laser treatment for hair has changed my life. I have also enjoyed their facials. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and understanding. Their prices are affordable. My only complaint is that they are so in demand that appointments are needing to be booked well in advance.

The full body package is an amazing deal. Ive been going now for just over a year and I hardly have any hair left. The laser is not painful and the treatments are surprisingly fast. It takes a few sessions to show results but its worth the wait. The girls are all super friendly and professional.

I just had my last appointment after a year of treatments. Although I wish all of the dark hairs were gone, Ive still seen such a difference in hair growth (Im giving 4 stars because I know they have two different lasers and there were several appointments where I should have been on the stronger laser, but because it wasnt booked for me, ended up on the other laser, and its possible I may have had better results. Thats just my uneducated guess though). Im still so happy that I jumped all in last year and bought the full body package. The girls who work at Simplicity are well trained and made me feel so comfortable--they made appointments where I could have felt really vulnerable and uncomfortable a breeze to get through. They are professional and personable. Also, their price for facials is almost shocking its such a steal!! Ive had three facials there already, and definitely plan to continue going there for more. The service is comparable to that of an upscale spa.

Friendly and professional staff that is accommodating to my schedule. Ive been going for over 18 months for my lower legs and have seen fairly good results. Im not completely hair free yet, but hoping to be by the end of my contract. Treatments are quick and feel like a snapping rubberband on your skin. Totally tolerable unless you have a very low pain threshold. Laser hair removal is one of the best things Ive done for myself!

I just started using Simplicity laser after having a whole round of treatments done through Ideal Image. I was incredibly impressed with after one treatment the difference that I noticed in my underarms and was immediately drawn to try more treatment areas as the price is the most affordable in the valley that I have found. For someone who has suffered with dark hair growth their entire life this laser treatment has been an answer to my prayers!! The office is extremely clean and well-maintained which is incredibly important to me. The staff has all been very kind and more than willing to help and explain any questions that I have, and are super friendly their customer service has been top notch. I will be a repeat customer of Simplicity Salon and I will continue to refer my friends and family to them as well!

I cant begin to explain my fears before I walked in. The ladies were so kind and friendly, comfortable waiting room. The procedure itself wasnt at all as painful as I thought it would be. Say a 2 on a scale of 10.

Great price through Groupon for laser hair removal! Recommended upkeep on cleanliness between patients. Its apparent that the office I was in had eyeliner make-up shavings all over on the treatment table next to where I was being treated. Awesome results for the price though! Thank you.

Great, friendly staff. Went in with my wife to get her a present and they gave her a tour and offered many different pricing options.This place was really hard to find so I updated the location with photos, check those out if you need help finding it.

The technician was very nice -- kind. Ive had these treatments before in California by different companies, with different equipment. I was expecting a similar experience, and post-treatment evidence. I felt the laser setting was too weak and told the technician at that time (3 days later I still see no evidence of having had a treatment). At the time, she said we can bump it up a little higher next time. I would have preferred she bump it up the first time. On one hand I appreciate the caution; on the other hand I feel it wasted one of my treatments. The location was very difficult to find -- frustrating with no addresses on the buildings, or street names around the loop of The Village. Terrible location for their business. The staff was very nice however.

I love all the girls that works at the Boise clinic, especially Jacobi! They are very gentle and expert in laser and facial. I start to notice improvement after 2 sessions.

Im changing my review. After one year and alot of money I can honestly say it didnt really work. I was promised 70% reduction its probably more like 30% and thats with 12 sessions. I still have alot of hair. And being pale with dark hair I was the perfect candidate.Quite disappointed. I do not recommend it.Gave an extra star because the staff was friendly

It actually works! Im just on my final treatments but so far so good. Most hair is gone and whats left is very thin and light. Im very very pleased with the results and this office.

I love having no hair on my body. It was more comfortable then I thought it would be everyone was really professional and made it easy. Best decision I made.

I signed up for treatments on 5/22/2015 with Simplicity laser for a full body treatment. Today’s date is 9/29/18 and I still have a lot of body hair. In fact I have body hair in the places in which I had very thin hair, since I had to shave all the areas, now those areas have much much thicker hair, thanks to Simplicity laser and their fake promises of hair free body. In the past 3 years they have only done two reviews, one on 4/17/17 and one on 1/8/18 after each review they said, it will take only a couple more treatments/months and you’ll be hair free, but those couple treatments took months and years and ofcourse more money in their pockets.My treatments didn’t hurt for the longest time, because they wouldn’t change the settings accordingly. Basically I was paying and not seeing any results. Each treatment was such a waste. They wasted, my time and money which was hard to earn, being a full time student and working just 16 hours a week and in return they left me with close to no results whatsoever. That is not how treat your patients.I even referred 2-4 people to them in the beginning because that was the only way I could afford and get a few treatments for free.Initially, before I signed up for treatments they gave me a run down that it will take 24 months to be hair free and that it will cost me only $2307.12; however 3 years later and after paying $3749.07 dollars I’m still having a lot of hair in all the areas that I was treating. Once I asked for my visit logs copy, and the manager herself refused me, saying it’s against the law. Before canceling my membership, I called the manager, because she was never available in person when she was needed. I told her that I’m very unhappy about my treatments and I requested that they treat me for free until I’m hair free or I was going to sue the company. I also reminded her, how I had requested for my visit logs once before and that she had refused me and her response was “No, they’re yours you may have a copy anytime.” I told her that, that was not what she said to me the last time I asked for my visit logs. I’m very unsatisfied with the results and I have been lied to and taken advantage of. I cancelled my membership on 7/25/18, because I refuse to keep paying and not seeing any results. I will fight and won’t give up. I’m contacting lawyers and I will file a case against simplicity laser.Please Dont Waste Your Money!

These girls are amazing!!!! I have been getting treated for a year now and am LOVING not having to shave as much!!! VERY highly recommend the same results for half the price of the other guys! ;) Everyone here is so nice and makes you feel so comfortable.

Some of the employees are very cold. Even though they smile and greet you, it almost feels fake and forced. One time during my appointment the employee just tried to shove new products down my throat by suggesting how well it works on skin and by pointing out flaws in my skin. That was a great experience. Other than the employees (give or take one or two thats actually genuinely nice) the treatments work well.

Super nice staff and great facials 😊 they always have good deals on them too.Edit: Changing from 5 to 2 stars. I went here for facials for almost 2 years. The last appointment I had was with a girl I think was new. After a not-so-gentle and very rushed facial, she had the audacity to rudely tell me “oh and by the way the cost of the facial is gonna be regular price from now on”. I don’t know why she would even feel the need to tell me this in the first place, that’s something the scheduler/receptionist should tell me, not the beautician. It felt like she was trying to run me out because I went home that day and saw on the website they were most definitely still running the deal. It’s been a while since I’ve been there but hopefully they fired that employee, I had 2 super nice employees that did facials on me but it only takes one bad experience (employee) to kind of ruin everything :(
