I came in today to sell two of my laptops - Macbook Air & 2012 Pro. The gentlemen offered my $30 and $40, respectively. I did not expect too much for the Air given the screen was messed up (ran just fine), but was extremely disappointed in the $40 offer a fully functioning 2012 Mac Pro with some lag. I told the gentleman it seemed like a low offer (and was obviously right), and he responded back with “the offer stands for three days”, which just made this review even more necessary. I decided to explore a second spot, and got offered almost 3x the amount at competitor store in Merrick. The owner there offered me $70 for the Macbook Air (which he stated is only selling for parts) & $120 for the Pro. I would definitely canvass other stores before committing to Pay More.

I guess Im partially to blame for this. I based my experience on the positive reviews, the positive and prompt communication, and the fact that both staff members I dealt with were actually quite pleasant. The aspect of this experience that I am very disappointed with is the fact that I expect too much. I was hoping to trade in some items and walk out with a laptop they had for sale in their store. After waiting a bit while my items were reviewed, the offer for store credit was roughly half of what the items were worth and half of what I was expecting. Disappointed, I walked out. No attempt to retain my business was made, and I went home, having wasted my time, my plans dashed.If youre looking to sell something for a quick buck and have no concept of what your item is worth if you took the time to sell it yourself: by all means try and sell with these people. Youre best off with more patience by selling your items yourself. Youll earn far more money in the end. For future reference: this company really should have some sort of what your item is worth calculator like most other sites do, rather than a bring it down and well take a look mentality, like youre trying to buy a used car or something. Very disappointed.

I really appreciate the giant waste of time paymore just put me through, I drove from queens for a graphics card they even put to the side for me, I get there they pull out the card and leave me waiting for 10 minutes to check out then all of a sudden the card was bought online and it was just a giant waste of time. There was no attempt to rectify the situation, very unprofessional, I’m never using this company again....
