These guys are like extended family. The environment is chill but polite and the decor is super awesome to look at! If you like motorcycles or old classic cars, then Id go check it out! Its impressive that they cut hair like how Gordon Ramsey would delicately and precisely slice a tomato! Lol! But no seriously I trust these guys to do my hair justice. They listen, they are really awesome for your kids first haircut; so sweet, patient and gentle with them. I notice all the time that they keep their stations and store really clean and if you have kids and/or pets, bring them in, they love visits!

The women are very friendly and personable. Ive been coming here for a year now. The shop environment is a lot of fun with the hot rod themed decorations. Go visit Kimberly or Renee for an excellent haircut

The only bad thing I can think of which isnt really a bad thing at all is the shop is only open 3 out of 4 days, but the work is absolutely stunning everytime. Never a dull painful cut and its always exactly how i like it. Im picky with my haircuts too and they always get it on point and if not they make sure that its on point. I would recommend anyone to them and have already recommended many people to them. Definately a 5 star service every time.

What a nightmare. On 10-23-18 had to sit for 90 MINUTES while the wife (of the husband and wife barber team) passed me over for other customers when I had been sitting patiently in line. I went up to the sign-up sheet and saw that my name had been crossed out!The wife (the female barber of the husband and wife team) said that Oh I guess Im the one who did that. She NEVER called out anyones name.When the husband came back from his 90 minute lunch I asked him how long it would take for him to start cutting my hair. He said from the looks of the sign-in sheet, 40 MINUTES.THERE WAS NO ONE ELSE WAITING!! IM NOT JOKING!My movie time was getting close so I had to leave.I DONT UNDERSTAND THEIR SENSE OF HUMOR, AND WONT BE GOING BACK BECAUSE I DONT NEED THE AGGRAVATION. Youll always have to fight to get your haircut.I URGE EVERYONE TO GO SOMEPLACE ELSE.

Great place to get a haircut for a man, this is a old fashioned barbershop where a haircut wont break the bank, you can have a conversation with your barber about days past in a cute and nostalgic decor. This is what a barbershop should be, fun and interesting. I will return

Absolutely love taking my teenage son to this place! The staff are always nice and courteous everytime we get my sons haircut, and they always do a fabulous job! They take the time to make sure my sons hair is done to his liking and double check with him throughout the process. We have been to too many other places where the employees were either rude or really messed up my sons hair, or both. Its sincerely refreshing to be able to go to a place and know I wont feel super stressed out or have to fix my sons hair when we get home.

There is no other place I would go for a haircut and great, personal service. Kelly has been cutting my hair for almost 20 years, and now my son looks forward to going to see Kelly for a haircut as well. I strongly recommend anyone in the area, or near the area to try this place out. Once you do, you too will be a regular for many years to come. They are great at what they do and you will not be disappointed.

I have tried a number of barbers in town - some mediocre and some downright inadequate. I asked my neighbor where he went and with enthusiasm he told me HOT ROD. He and his wife have made it a family affair - he uses Kelly and Renee takes care of his wife. I switched immediately and now look forward to getting haircuts. Im 70 and remember the days when a neighborhood barber shop was a place of community, not just a churn-and-burn clip joint. Like a welcoming local coffee shop, HOT ROD is a racial melting pot, a family and a community place. Its a pleasure to watch both Kelly and Renee interact with two and sometimes three generations of local families. Kelly is a flattop specialist and our “level-headed” mayor is a customer. Their rates are more than reasonable, all the more so because they offer discounts for military and seniors. As we used to say back-in-the-day - Try it. Youll like it.
