I had an appointment scheduled at 3 pm and they called to ask if I could come in at 12. I could not make that time, but when I returned the call, they said I could come in at 1:40. When I got there, they had no record of me being put down for that time, even though I spoke with one of their receptionists. They made me wait to see if their appointments at 2 were no shows to try and get me in. That did not work, so I had to come back at my original appointment time. When I finally got it, the hygenist cleaning my teeth was really rough and even got one of the tools stuck between my teeth. I mentioned that I had recently had dental surgery and the area was very sensitive. He put the water jet directly in the hole where I had my tooth removed. When it was time for the doctor to come in, he could not find her and someone else told him the doctor left, so I wasnt able to be seen by the doctor and ask questions that I had. As someone with dental anxiety, this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I will never go to this clinic again!!

STAY AWAY!!! Unless you want to be tortured and recommended unnecessary dental work. After 3 years since my last appointment there, I finally went back to a small family dentistry office for a cleaning and check. 3 years ago I left Park Dental with bloody gums and a recommendation for 3 cavities and a crown. Turns out, I needed none of those things!!! They are criminal! I now have anxiety going to the dentist when I used to have no issues. DONT GO HERE!

I went to this Park Dental after having gone years without seeing a dentist due to not having insurance as a college student. Kelly the receptionist I spoke with was incredibly kind, helpful, and personable. She sent me clear estimates that made sense and explained the charges I would be responsible for and what my insurance would pay. I was feeling super anxious when I first went in, but Colleen the hygienist made me feel comfortable. Dr. Halal was super thorough, informative, and listened to my concerns. She was also very efficient during my fillings and made sure I was ok throughout the whole process. Super great experience and will definitely be continuing to receive care through this Park Dental

I had never had cavities before, and then all the sudden I had 6 cavities I needed filled all at once. I got them done here a few years ago, and the bill was about $700. This place does not allow payment plans so I had to make the entire payment at once. As a college student and a new mom living in an overpriced apartment, I didn’t have the money right away. I had to save up to pay the bill in full, and while I was saving the bill went to collections. I paid the bill with collections, and went on my way. Years later (yesterday), one of my fillings popped out. I called to make an appointment this morning, and I was told that I was no longer able to be a patient there because I had a bill that went to collections. I explained to the woman that this was years ago, and that I paid the bill. She stated that when patients have a bill that goes into collections, they are no longer able to be treated at their facility. I think it is wrong that places do not let you do payment plans because not everyone has the money on them right away. I also think it is ridiculous that if a bill goes to collections even one time, you are not allowed to be a patient there anymore. I would not recommend this practice to anyone because they look at you more as a dollar sign instead of a person who needs help.

In the very recent past, I had to return to Park Dental, Maple Grove for some rather urgently needed work on an implanted tooth. I was able to get right in the next day and Dr. Pumper and his assistant April, took the very best of care of me as USUAL. The two of them were gentle and understanding for the entire procedure and I highly recommend Park Dental for their expertise.

I had an incredible experience at this location. I went in for an X-ray and was greeted by Rachel who was extremely helpful in providing me with multiple payment options since I was paying out of pocket. Dr. Pearson was patient with me and encouraged questions when explaining the procedure I would need. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Definitely recommend this location!

As someone who really despises going to the dentist, I had a great experience. I haven’t had a cleaning in about a year, and finally forced myself to go in. I have had a lot of dental hygienists who are pretty rough, seemingly just trying to get the job done. I generally do a decent job in keeping my teeth clean, yet I still frustratingly get cavities somewhat consistently. Marissa, the dental hygienist I had today was amazing. I have asked many hygienists/dentists about ways to prevent cavities, generally receiving similar answers. Marissa made multiple recommendations new to me and even got me a few items she thought might help. She was extremely friendly and personable, so much so that at times I would forget I’m even at the dentist as I genuinely enjoyed her conversation and suggestions. I don’t think dental offices have managers, but if they did I would definitely be demanding a raise or recognition of some sort for Marissa.

As a patient of Park Dental for many, many years, I can say that this is not just a matter of getting excellent dental care but also having the privilege of having a care team that is totally concerned about my health and well being. If you need a specialist, PD has the best at their disposal. If you have a question, it can be answered anytime you call and request. The front desk staff is always smiling and ready to help. Park Dental is the best.

Customer care is the LAST concern on their list. I called for an EMERGENCY appointment, after suffering all night with a painful infection in my back molar that spread through my lymph nodes down my neck and spreading under my chin, at least a softball size lump and growing.The lady who answered the phone said they didn’t take my insurance.. I asked if I could just pay cash , knowing my new insurance was limited. She said No we can’t schedule you with our clinic cause it’s insurance fraud, what?? Thinking how? That doesn’t make sence.. I said.. so I’m left here suffering, I’m in excruciating pain? She answered.. yes ma’am We can’t help you, . cold and stoic. She didn’t offer an alternate option nor an ounce of empathy.. she was rude and shouldn’t be in a position that is customer facing!. I pray to God she is never in desperate need of help and gets slapped in the face like I did. VERY SAD!

I had major dental work done. Everything went perfect.Cannot praise Dr. Pumper and Park Dental enough.The entire staff is great. I would have no hesitation recommending Park Dental.Thanks for making my smile great again!

Noticing a lot of bad reviews, and I can say Ive never had an experience like that here. I had a hard time finding a good dentist locally and tried Park Dental when a quick patch job popped up since it was near work. At that point I switched permanently and for the past 3ish years theyve been better than any office Ive dealt with in the past 20 (in 2 states). In my experience theyve been understanding and helpful, explaining whats happening and being available for questions and so on.

After being a patient for the last 26 years I am parting ways with Park Dental in Maple Grove. Over the last 18 months I have seen a rotating door of Dr. and need to ask why can they not keep Dr.s at this location. Then, when billing issues arose with two separate family members within a 3 month time frame-the client service was non existent. This is a disappointment.

I have no idea why this place is getting so many one-star ratings. I have been a patient of theirs for years, and never had any issues with them. I have recommended this place to some of my friends and they are happy with their services as well.

DO NOT GO HERE if you dont have dental insurance. My husband went in and was told that our health insurance would cover his needed procedures. 3 times he told the gal he didnt think that was correct, we do not have dental insurance. She insisted that with Obamacare it would be covered under our health insurance. He had work done and we received a bill for over $3000. He called and asked if they would write down some of the bill as they do for the billion dollar insurance companies. They said no. We started making payments on our bill and now they are threatening to turn it over for collections. They dont care about their patients, just their money! Stay away!

The staff is friendly, and they make sure you have an accurate estimate for the work done. They even double checked to see if I reached the maximum for insurance coverage to get me the most accurate estimate!

I should of read the reviews before I went there. I have gone to other Park Dental locations before and have had good experiences, but not the case here. At my appointment I was told I needed 3 filings. In the estimate I was told my insurance covered filings 100%, and the amount would still fit into my allotted dental money for the year, so I would owe nothing. I doubted this, because I remembered paying a 20% or so portion in the past because I get white fillings. I even stated that I will be getting white filings, and asked if this changes the estimate. I was ensured that it would not. Again when I went in a week later for the filings, I was not charged anything and was assured my insurance covered it 100%. Then a couple weeks later I get a $384.00 bill, because apparently my insurance only covers 50% for white filings in back teeth. When I called in to question this, I was told this is often the case for white filings...... so then why was I not warned before getting them filled! Not cool to tell people misinformation. At least warn them that insurance does not always cover as much for white filings. I will be switching to a new dental office.

Worst service, Dentists dont take time to listen and they are working on multiple clients at the same time and rushing through the procedures. Filings kept falling out. The environment is not always lways or relaxing. They are more focused on billing than quality service.

I would avoid the maple grove location if you actaully want your appointment for when you make them. First time the scheduler cancelled my appointment without my approval. 2nd time they told me a day and time come in and they dont have my appointment.Very unprofessional.

So I was patient 6 years ago after military deployment and I was still under their insurance. All three tooth had to be redone. Two need up as root canal and two crowns fell off. I heard excuses like if I stopped brushing in six years there could be that reason. Another is they dont warranty their work after a year and if you stop seeing them. Just dark magic on why all three tooth has problems with two ended two root canals. Stay away!!!!! Unless you want to pay thousands of dollars for shotty work later. This is a sweat shop for dentists. Sad that they are not accountable for their bad work.

Appointment made for 1 pm and its 1:25 and still waiting. I always have to wait. I will never come back here after todays procedure is done.

The scheduler messed up my first appointment time & when I arrived late because of it, there was no time for my cleaning. I made another appointment to get the cleaning done with the cavity repair, I have the reminder card with the schedulers handwriting stating time/date & that cleaning & fillings would be done. I received a reminder call for the wrong date. When I called they didnt recognize my initial appointment even though I have hand written proof! They tried to make me reschedule or split the appointments in 2. I will not be going to them again! I have never written a review for anything before, but Im furious that a professional office can be so inconsiderate of their patients time.

Not been there for myself. However after witnessing twice a couple of procedures for my husband I dont understand how one can ruin TWO perfectly good teeth when theres only ONE needing work !! Also I think this dentist was looking for any excuse to do more work therefore costing us more money than necessary. Their office admin .... HORRIBLE. !! Prints out said treatment plan then stands in my way so I had no clear view of what they wanted to charge us. Pulling our medical records out of there ASAP !! Go somewhere that wont get upset when you question why something is done. This place is the worst. !!!

I was very disappointed in the dentist, Dr Pearson, who worked with my 9 year old son. She seemed to get very frustrated with him when he was crying while receiving novacane before a tooth extraction. She also got frustrated with him as he was saying ow during the procedure. He was being extremely brave for such a scary situation, especially being a child and she seemed to not have the patience. I even brought it to her attention that he is only a child--maybe some reassurance from her would have helped calm him and not make it so scary. They were unprofessional and we will not be back.

Good office. Not sure what all the negative reviews are based on--its the dentist, its typically not a thrill to have someone poking around in your mouth. But, PDMG does a good job keeping it short, sweet, and effective.Been a patient there since I moved to Maple Grove in 2014, and have had multiple cleanings and in 2016 a filling. Ive never had a dentist apply topical before the local! Didnt feel a thing and havent had any problems.They also keep up with the latest tech (xray, IT, EMR, etc), which I appreciate. Keeps things simple.I would trust PDMG over an indy office any day.

Anyone can be seen right away unless you have Health Partners PMAP-- although its in network, theyll treat your child like garbage and make them wait 6 to 8 months for dental care. APPALLED. Will never return.
