My Elite Stair Lift by Bruno, which I purchased from Area Access, Inc., was installed January 15, 2020. In the weeks since its installation it has worked perfectly and been entirely satisfactory. The cushioned seat is tremendously comfortable during operation and the large footrest provides me with textbook stability. I am very indebted to Andria Gregory for her work with me, both in the showroom and at home, to ensure my purchase would be the “right” purchase to fulfill my personal requirements. Andria encouraged me to try the different models, seats, footrests, and other options available so my stair lift would be the best choice for me in every aspect. She is a friendly and efficient salesperson. Andria demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the different stair lift systems and was never too hurried to answer any of my questions or concerns. I found all of the Area Access personnel courteous, friendly, and ready to help in any manner. I highly recommend Area Access for any accessibility need. Whether it is for an elevator, stair lift, or other lift system; they will accommodate you.

We can summarize our entire experience with Area Access Inc as being outstanding and we couldn’t be more pleased. We had contacted other chairlift companies, but we were not satisfied with their products. A hands-on review of the various chair lifts alternatives available in the Area Access showroom helped us to narrow the selection. The installation crew indicated exceptional technical expertise and provided us with a system which we will enjoy for many years..

We have spent months waiting on this company to follow through with a motor replacement to no avail. We finally had the technician out to install part, and somehow this specially made product that took months to order is the wrong size. Furthermore, the part that is needed is going to be overnighted. How is that possible when you previously had to wait months for this part? Customer service on the office end is abysmal with no empathy or attempts to resolve problems. Just a run around. We have already paid for this work and need this repaired. My company operates 15 facilities and have ties to other facilities in the area and I will go out of my way to ensure they nor we ever use this company again. DO YOUR JOB, please. We were all counting on you.

When we purchased the chairlifts, we spent 15k to do an install. We were promised the ability to resell them back if necessary. We used the chairs for 6 months and had to have them repaired at least once with no explanation as to why one broke. It still didn’t work right after the fix. We contacted them to come get the chair lifts as we were moving and would need new ones again in the new house. With less than 6 months use, they would only give us $1400.00 for the lifts. I will never use this company again. The what they sold us on repurchase was very dishonest.

One phone call is all it took to get next day service! And I give Aaron and Jordan from Area Access my highest recommendation. They are an impressive team--knowledgeable, informative, neat and very well-spoken. They will be back ASAP with ordered parts, and assuming the elevator then runs as smoothly as todays service call did, we will continue to rely on Area Access for our elevator service, just as we have for the past 15 years!

Area Access is a wonderful place to go for mobile scooters. I bought mine new around 2 months ago and it has been great except for one minor battery issue (one battery inside the pack was weaker than the other one so I got it replaced). Andria and James were wonderful with all of my questions and they had exceptional customer service. I definitely recommend them!

The review is done for my elderly father - The selling process was very easy and the salesperson was very nice. The installation seemed to okay but I am having trouble with the installation follow up. I have called the office numerous times to be blown off. The chair wobbles and squeaks. I was told give it a month. Not all of the screws were installed on the stair lift, ignored. Hoping this review will get someone out to address the problems. I will give 2 stars for the salesperson. A follow up review to be done in a week. 12/19/18 follow up review. ***** Five stars. The owner immediately responded to our review online and had a crew out to my dads house to take care of everything. The salesperson stayed during the punch out work to insure that my dad was completely satisfied. We really appreciate the response. All is great!

We used this company to obtain a stairlift for my father in law. Process was smooth and efficient. Would recommend this company without question. Stairlift was installed in November 2019.

I have had such a great experience with everyone at Area Access and I say over and over again that this chair purchase was the best money I ever spent; my mother is so happy with it. My mothers friend is in the process of looking for a chair lift and I have highly recommended Area Access! From start to finish, the process took about 2 weeks and everyone from the sales person to the installers (Shout out to Jerry and Stacy - wish I got the installers names, they were awesome, too!) could not have been more helpful and kind. I researched different chairlifts and companies prior to purchasing and I am so glad I went with Area Access.

We needed a stair lift chair to accommodate our aging mother during her visit last holiday season 2015. After checking reviews and pricing, we chose Area Access and they installed a Bruno Elan Stair Lift. Since then weve had the chair removed to accommodate moving some furniture upstairs, and then re-installed. After the chair was put back the batteries werent charging correctly. Area Access returned within a few hours of our phone call and satisfactorily diagnosed and fixed the problem. Area Access staff is knowledgeable, well-trained, polite, on-time and proud of the service they provide. I would highly recommend this company. High quality customer service is not always the norm. It is most definitely with this company.

The third week of March James worked on my Mercedes SUV. I had originally been told when I needed a new car that I could not use my old lift as it was obsolete and I would need to purchase a new one. My old lift still worked. However: my daughter found James at Area Access and he told her he would be able to adjust the lift to fit my new SUV. He did an outstanding job in installing the lift and he also saved me a good deal of money, I was very happy with the work and the cost. My thanks to James and all the people who helped me.

Area Access installed a chair lift for us some 10 years ago, and we have been extremely satisfied with their services ever since. Recently we replaced our stair carpet with hardwood stairs and Area Access removed and re-installed the chair lift. They were able to position it even closer to one side wall so as to give us more leg room than we had before.The engineer re-installing the unit was a delight to work with. He was extremely personable and most considerate and careful not to damage our new floors!

My Husband and I have been customers of Area Access, Inc. in the DC area for at least 20 years. We have purchased 3 power chairs, and 4 lifts, including 2 Joeys, from them. They provide excellent customer service and are always a pleasure to deal with. We really enjoy their annual Open House every May and really appreciate the free wheelchair inspection and tune-up, discounts and treats they offer then. They are absolutely worth the long drive to their location in Manassas.

I stopped into the showroom located in Manassas, VA. And was greeted by Andrea who let me roam the showroom by myself. I understand that the owner has over 30 years of experience with their chair lifts and scooters but not with the installation of their elevators. I was interested in one of elevators in the showroom. I even took a brochure. And looked on line for the manufacturer Symmetry is USA made products. Installation I was told is another story there because they are a bit behind on installs due to hiring and training. One of the gentlemen that walked through the showroom said they do not get trained or sent out for training. They are just sent to job sites. I probably will not go with this company due to my own personal preferences and my time for installation and professional preferences

Our Bruno stairlift has been installed for a week now, and I will never look back. As a 67 year old woman, I am still ambulatory and I want to keep it that way. I have had lumbar disc trouble and an old ankle injury that give me some trouble, but my concern is this: My husbands sister fell down her stairwell and was knocked unconscious and broke her hand. She doesnt remember what happened, and continues to have double vision despite weeks in the hospital and lots of therapy. My grandmother died many years ago from complications due to a fall and a broken hip. My stairlift has totally eliminated my fear of falling like that, whether or not I am carrying something bulky or heavy or just going down stairs.I highly recommend Area Access in Manassas. They have a great try me showroom, Andria is such a pleasant salesperson, and everything was done on time as promised. Marcel was an exceptional installer; the work area was left as clean as it was before the installation, and he made sure we understood everything about the stairlift before leaving....lots of attention to detail.Dont wait until you have an accident on the stairs....just do it! :-)

Refused to provide service because somebody who owned my house before me owed them money. Not a way to do business and treat customers. They put my family in severe danger leaving us with malfunctioning elevator. They are the only authorised dealer for this brand elevator in area and no other company can work on it. So they are using the situation for their illegal attempts to collect the balance I do not owe and have nothing to do with.

Manassas office is Very expansive , their prices are way high than other people, staff very discouraging, rude, non cooperative. They dont care they are talking to handicap person who is suffering from something. I wish the owner of the company contact us.

I recently purchased three pre-owned Bruno chair lift units and they were just installed today. The sales rep, Cliff Wenn was very professional and accommodating. He even made a second trip to visit with my husband to work out the specs and measurements for a set of garage entry stairs that we were custom building. Todays installation went very smoothly, and the field supervisor, Florian Manea, did a superb job. He was orderly and tidy, and very helpful and professional in demonstrating the product. Overall I am pleased.

I was not happy with the completion of the work done at my home by Area Access. After calling and speaking to Brian Brooks their Service Office Manager I will not be calling them back again. I found Mr. Brooks to be very rude and unprofessional when he began to quote me pricing and costs and his trip charges on a unit that just was installed.I would not recommend this company for in home services

We recently purchased a stairlift from Area Access which was installed by Ryan Kern and Giancarlo Mancebo who did an outstanding job. They obviously knew what they were doing but, just as importantly, they were very careful and meticulous during the installation process. We had absolutely no concerns when they were finished that there would be any safety issues during operation of the device. We were extremely impressed and pleased when the job was done. Also, we would be remiss if we didn’t mention Grace Loba who was friendly and efficient and gave us good advice on what unit to purchase. Based on our experience with Area Access, we would recommend them to anyone needing a stairlift.

I got excellent response from Ms Andria Gregory to all my queries regarding the stairlift. She even went out of the way to suggest various options for a new as well as refurbished stair lifts.
