Doug is the right guy for the job. Hes professional, prompt, punctual. Hes knowledgeable and will explain what hes doing so you are aware. I enjoyed seeing my TV come back to life and its all bcz of Dougs TV repair. I found him by word of mouth so Im just paying it forward and passing the word. The backlights went out on our living room tv. I found Doug by Google searching TV repairs so I gave him a call. He was very punctual and professional. He came and checked the TV out on a Tuesday, ordered the backlights, and on Friday he had them in. It only took him a hour to change the backlights out. And now the tv looks good again!

Well Doug is here right now repair my TV. i popped off the little tuner that the cable screws into to watch cable. he’s fixing it no problem and he’s very friendly and fast. also he quoted me a fantastic price. thanks Doug!

He came out to my house replaced the led in my television. Cleaning out all the smoke residue the old led strips left all over my screen. Just tried to get some assistance on repairing my 55 tv and the person that answered was extremely rude and simply said it cant be done. didnt offer any other solutions.and then tried to explain the miscommunication? there is no excuse for being rude, especially since i was calling to give them business i now will go else where!!!

I had very high hopes on getting my tv fix today after spending about 10-15 mins on it he says it’s not fixable and after I spoke about getting someone else to try to fix it he said his been doing this for 16years so someone else would know more then him from reading the comments I thought he would offer someone for me but no so and a nutshell I paid 60$ for him to spend 10-15mins on my tv very disappointed

I didnt even know in-home TV repair was a thing, but when my Vizio 65 screen went black, I found Doug from a recommendation. I cant offer a more enthusiastic endorsement. He said hes been doing this for 15 years and it shows. Theres no substitute for experience. He opened the back of the TV and knew immediately what the problem was. From start to finish, he had it fixed in under an hour. That included removing a board, soldering several pieces, and re-seating a heat sink. His price was more than reasonable. He was prompt to call back, courteous, arrived exactly when he said he would, and was able to schedule me for a repair the very next day, at a time convenient for me. I cant recommend his service highly enough and he would be the first one I call if I have another TV go out.

I have a 60 inch thats 14 years old I couldnt find the parts for it so I will play it until it goes out.

I have an 8 year old, 30 inch computer monitor that inexplicably goes black almost immediately after turning on. It has basically been on 24 hrs a day for 8 years!I feel Doug was as thorough as possible in his diagnosis (he checked capacitors, wiring, screen, connections, etc), he was completely professional the entire time, was outstandingly communicative both in setting up the repair visit and in the actual repair attempt.I was disappointed the monitor was not able to be repaired, although to his credit, he was a second attempt after the monitor was turned away from local computer repair shop. (Doug was their recommendation).Positives: Came to the house, VERY professional, rate incredibly reasonable ($30), communicative in all aspects, seemed very knowledgeable and well rounded in experience.Negatives: Monitor not fixed, perhaps not prepared for a deeper diagnosticNegatives on me: I did not think to ask about alternatives, for example: is there a local entity that specializes in extreme cases like my monitor? Its frustrating when on the surface everything looks in order, but there is an additional layer. I DEFINITELY direct this frustration at the monitor, not Doug.My experience is that I would recommend Dougs TV Repair to others.

Knows his stuff, and made a house call. He was even able to fix one of my older LCD monitors on the spot in addition to the tv I called about initially.

I called to schedule an appointment after my co-worker referred him. My appointment was at 9:00 am he called at 8:34 am to confirm my appointment and unfortunately I was away from my phone because I was at work, but someone was at my home waiting for him. He was already in my area doing another service (I know this because the person who referred him lives 10 mins away and had an appt at 8:00 am the same day). I called him back at 9:06 and he told me he was no longer in the area. How is my appt at 9:00 am and I call you at 9:06 am you are no longer in the area? I guess he finished my coworkers TV early and didnt want to wait until 9:00am... so instead of waiting or just dropping by my house that is 10 mins away he left. I understand if he had another job to do I totally get it(I didnt answer my phone), but it WAS HIS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL behavior over the phone that Is unacceptable. Ive been in customer service for over 11 years and he definitely needs to be trained on his customer service skills.

I called earlier today no one answered then he called me back, I asked questions to get my tv repaired, but he was rude and unprofessional on the phone. On their website they promoted drop off location, But he said he comes to houses but he couldnt because I live in fort Campbell on Kentucky side. So I will be taking my money someplace where they are more professional and nicer.No the fact that you were rude to me on the phone being very unprofessional is why you get the one star. I get that you cant work over here I was trying ask questions about me coming to you Ike the website says. But you very rude. Even your reply is rude. So for sure a one star!

Doug was very friendly. Had an appointment for 2pm, but Doug called and asked if he could come early, which was great. Doug was quick to diagnose the problem and provide a quote for repair. Unfortunately the repair was going to cost more than I felt like putting into an 11 year old TV. Would definitely call again!

So after reading about Doug and his rude/ unprofesssional conduct I was hesitant about using his service. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I decided to call him about my tv. He answered the phone in a very rude and almost “why are you bothering me” tone. I told him about my tv. His response: just go to one of my sites and drop it off. I thanked him for the information. He grunted and hung up. So my girlfriend and I went to the closest shop with our 55” TV. AND OF COURSE THE DOOR WAS LOCKED!!! Mind you, this was about 11:30am. I wasted gas and my time just to get to a closed office. There was a little sharpie note that said “sorry we are closed, go to another location”.What a joke!Maybe Doug should repair his professionalism and business model before he touched another tv.

Doug offered highly personal service in helping me figure out connectivity issues with my coaxial antennae. Ill continue to use him for all my A/V issues.

Called twice no answer then he called back super RUDE. He was being smart mouthing to a potential client but, after talking to him I choose to take my business someplace else. Do NOT recommend.

Horrible guy, horrible attutude, poor work.. his repairs are as simple as a bandaids and do not last.

I had 5 tvs hit by lightning and needed a report for my insurance adjuster.He looked at the first two tvs and said he could make one tv out of them.He found a board with capacitors swollen up on the third tv and said it could be fixed by replacing the board for $80. I asked him if he was sure. He said he didnt know. I told him that my insurance adjuster needed a final repair cost or a replacement cost.He refused to give a final repair cost for it and it was obvious he didn’t know how to write a report for my insurance adjuster so I stopped him and asked how much the bill was. He grumbled $60. I gave him his money and made him leave and slammed the door behind him.He says in response to my reviews that I pulled a gun on him or whatever, two months after he was at my house, on the exact day I posted my reviews. Then why would I pay him his $60 bucks instead of just throwing him out without paying at all? Just can’t admit to being a stupid kid is all.

Doug was on-time and very professional. He shot me straight, when he could have probably taken advantage of my ignorance on all of this tech stuff. I felt his pricing was very fair. Id use him again 100%.
