This is the best experience I’ve ever had doing taxes. I’ve done taxes through HR Block, HR Block online, turbo tax, by myself through the IRS website, and through a couple CPAs. Tom is by far, hands down, the best and most knowledgeable person I’ve worked with.My wife is a graduate student so her income isn’t as straightforward as mine – she has income from fellowships and grants; on top of that she has to pay estimated taxes throughout the year. Tom knew exactly what to do and had zero issues with it.Bonus points: Tom was super friendly and patient with us and our million questions. We couldn’t go in person because of the coronapocalypse and Tom was able to take care of us 100% online through email communications. He always replied fast, was detailed in what he wanted us to provide and what he provided us, and made us feel comfortable about the entire process. Additionally, his rates are fair (if anything it’s less than what I would expect given the quality of his work)!TL;DR: Go to Tom for your taxes ONLY if you want the best experience ever.

Tom was a great professional - also helped me work through an error from a 2018 return. I am a new home buyer, with a single source of income and a few investments, he was able to help with all my needs. Also explained recent changes to tax code in a way that made sense to me. Would recommend - reasonable rate, too. I have used both H&R block online and another in-person firm to file in the past, will return to Tom instead.
