Dane County Child Protective Services doesnt do its job. Right now were relying on the District Attorney to do their job. The District Attorney thinks there is enough evidence to prosecute cases that CPS wont even investigate. They minimize abuse. When they make grave errors instead of correcting the problem, they go into cover your ______ mode where they double down, and they look out for their cronies instead of questioning if something was done right. Its shameful that we have to rely on the District Attorney to do CPSs job. The problem is, the child is still in danger until the case is prosecuted. There needs to be reform of this department!
