Love Studio Jewelers! I brought in my 25-year-old falling-to-pieces engagement ring and they helped me find a lovely new setting for the stone that was true to the original. They had a great selection of settings, superior to that of other jewelers I visited. I think other jewelers thought I was a small fish not likely to buy a bigger diamond. Studio employees treated me and my project with care and enthusiasm. They also did a great job repairing other family heirloom jewelry that I brought in. Five stars in all regards.

Incredibly nice people with prompt and quality service. They expertly were able to repair a ring that needed resizing and refinishing, and sent us out the door having gotten to taste their homemade chocolates! If we are ever in need of new jewelry or further jewelry service, we will think of these people first.

I fell in love with their gallery online and enjoyed the atmosphere in store even more. They have a wide array of designers and artists works on display and were cordial and welcoming as I tried on potential rings. I learned the back story of the jewelry I was interested in and felt valued throughout the process. Highly recommend.

We were looking for a jeweler close to downtown Madison for our wedding, and I’m glad we found Studio Jewelers! They have been great, appraising and resizing an heirloom ring, and they offered us multiple options for resizing with bands! They helped us pick out a wedding band, going through multiple types and styles until we found the right type for us. They also assisted with with multiple cleanings as we got close to the date, and the store cat is always a joy. Highly recommended!

If youre looking for unique, quality, ethical jewelry you can definitely find that at Studio Jewelers. My fiancé bought my engagement ring from Studio Jewelers, and I love it.However, if youre looking for friendly staff and good customer service, you probably wont find that at Studio Jewelers (it depends on whos working).In sum... great jewelry, unfriendly staff.

My fiance and I had the pleasure of working with the AMAZING VICKY!!! She is so knowledgeable and didnt make me feel like she was trying to just sell me something from their existing showcase. Vicky was able to get a few stones for us within our budget; where as other jewelers made me feel it was impossible. She was so responsive, patient, and made me feel at ease during the whole process. I love my ring and could not have asked for a better experience.I can not say it enough, but Thank You Vicky for being a part of this new chapter in our lives and giving us the BEST experience we could have asked for.

Customer service is extremely poor. The store is exceedingly over-priced. Beautiful custom-made pieces can be found elsewhere with a much better customer service. Even though you pay a very high price for their jewelry, they are extremely rigid when it comes to customer service. I bought a VERY expensive handmade ring and it was too tight. They measured the size themselves in the same finger!! However, when I tried to get a different size, I was told that I had to pay an exorbitant additional amount of money!!! Horrible experience!! The owner is a very DIFFICULT person to deal with. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!.

After interviewing 2-3 other local jewelers to commission a piece for my wife and Is anniversary I finally felt comfortable at Studio Jewelers. Most of the other places (especially the multinational chains) I got the distinct feeling that they were mostly interested in pushing their standard inventory. At Studio, it felt more like a collective of artisans. I had my wife browse all the artists work and we decided to go with Whitney. It was a great decision and we could not be happier with the piece.

Took in a custom ring I had made elsewhere to have it redone. I liked the stones, but the ring was kind of clunky. I was originally planning to take it back to where it was made, but I saw so many beautiful photos of very intricate jewelry on the Studio Jewelers website that I decided to take a chance and look for an artist with a more delicate touch. Chris was the artist at the store when I arrived, and he seemed to really understand what I wanted out of my ring. I just picked it up today and I love it. He finished within his estimated time frame and just under budget. I will definitely go back here if I need any more custom work.

Studio Jewelers has become one of my favorite hang-outs in Madison! Not only do I visit the wonderful and talented staff, but I also get my Eli fix while checking out all the beautiful jewelry! I love this place so much that I sent my son to purchase an engagement ring for his fiancée--which he did and she loves it! I also worked closely with Whitney Robinson to create a custom wedding band to celebrate my 30th wedding anniversary last year. We used my original diamond and added two more from my mothers wedding rings. I receive many comments on its beauty and unique design!

I had a very unpleasant experience with Studio Jewelers. Briefly, I bought a couple of items some time ago, and since they did not have one of them at the store, I looked it up in their catalogue and ordered it. However, they did not mention that their return policy does not accept items that were not present at the store at the time of purchase which means that anything not bought right off the shelf cannot be returned. So when I came back to return the item, they did not take it and told me it was my fault that I did not read the slip carefully. Additionally, be ready to pay at least twice as much as you would somewhere else. Also, friendliness is not something you should except at this place. I agree that the owner is difficult to deal with and can even be a little rigid and insulting. I do not feel like they appreciated me as a customer.

Never again. I purchased a very expensive engagement ring that is poorly made and dirty. It’s poorly crafted because there are two diamonds in the setting that are touching one another, which was not part of the design and is considered poor workmanship. I’m told by a reputable jeweler that the smaller of the two stones eventually will break and have to be replaced. It can’t be fixed before then because the smaller diamond will have to be broken to remove it from its unusual setting. That’s unacceptable at any price, but especially the high price I paid. It’s still not clear what the dirt was. It was stubborn debris lodged between at least two of the diamonds that required a very time consuming cleaning by another jeweler. It looked like glue to me, but that cant be verified.A full description of the aggravating process for designing and making the ring would not fit in this review space. In brief, I paid to have a custom engagement ring designed, but after nearly two weeks of waiting, I received a wax prototype that was a copy of another ring that was already in the store and NOT what I requested. Delays, delays, broken promises, and more delays. The final delay was due to a two inch “snow storm” in Stevens Point where the “artist” is located. Customer service is atrocious. And the fees! I was actually charged $90 for an appraisal on a ring for which they had already charged me thousands! Are you kidding me?If you want an engagement ring that is unique, well-built, clean and will be a source of happiness and pride, go anywhere other than Studio Jewelers.

Haggie attempted to ruin my wedding. I was told that my ring broke while it was in the mold, although it was guaranteed repeatedly that it would be finished. I was told by Haggie that I should get my butt in here and find a replacement ring. I was at work. Had I not called to check on the progress of my ring who knows if I would have received a phone call.I have never been treated so badly and so utterly talked down to. We had spent thousands of dollars there. Please be warned. If you see a battered old woman with a Ruby on her finger. Run. Wish I could say better.
