I really appreciate the ease of communication with this cleaning service. I can call them, email them, or use the app and this is reassuring so that I know everything about my cleaning.The two on the team that came out did a great job. It feels good to have all the little things, like my vent covers even, cleaned as part of a routine cleaning.This means I have more time for other things I need to do, or just to relax. Its a bit pricey, but all together worth it.

After using the service for 2+ years the quality begin to become very poor. When i came home I could see clumps of dust in the hall and at the edge of the couch. Terrible cleaning job. I had to vacuum and dust after they left. When I contacted the office via email they cancelled our contract. Do not recommend. Extremely unprofessional and unsatisfactory service

I have not had a serious cleaning for my house since the pandemic started. I use a cane and a walker so getting down to do floorboards and mop floors is out of my ability these days. Cleaning Authority came in and did the first of 2 deep cleaning and will be continuing alternate week cleaning for me. My house is so lovely, they cleaned everything so spectacularly I am thrilled just to sit and be happy in it. It not only looks clean it smells clean!

The Cleaning Authority has been very nice to work with overall. We had an issue with a cleaning, but they were quick to respond and address the discrepancy. We are happy with their services.

Their cleaning was not the best. All their employees are not vaccinated and when I told them I only wanted vaccinated people sent they did not follow that request.

I have been using The Cleaning Authority to clean our house twice a month for a couple of years now. Diego, Cristina, and Rosa are fantastic and take excellent care of our home. The quality can be spotty if we dont get our regular team, but as long as the three of them show up, we are always satisfied.

I have them come every other week, but I was having surgery and needed to tweak the schedule. No problem and I came home from the hospital to a lovely clean house. It meant a lot that they accomodated me.

We have had consistency with Caitlin and whomever shes paired with. Because we are still trying to clear four generations of stuff from the house, its impossible to totally clean it but I do ask for floors and dusting to be done. Bathrooms are a given, of course. If they can keep this old, retired Army Sergeant happy, Id recommend them (or at least the team I use) to anybody.

They always show up when they say they will, are super helpful, and want to make sure they do things the way I like. Fantastic!

Ive been using this company for a few years now and I never had an issue with them. The house is always locked after they leave. They were happy to accommodate special requests, especially last minute changes to scheduled appointments.

Scheduled Clean A and Clean B (actually, they were scheduled independently and I was contacted 1-2 days prior about it only). Both Cleans (A/B) are supposed to be thorough, but they were absolutely not (things not cleaned: under furniture, cobwebs, half of one entire bathroom, etc.). We had even moved EVERYTHING off counters and tables and floors (with 3 kids and 2 cats, this was a full day job) to make it easy for the cleaners. I contacted them after the first clean, concerned they didnt get to things, and they promised they would in the second - but no. I contacted the company again, got another apology and thats it. A discount or partial refund would have been appreciated as a gesture of good faith, since I see other people got that here on the reviews. We are not using them anymore. Do not recommend.

This company, not just this office, is atrocious. I worked with them for a while. They would repeatedly leave things in the house, not clean what they were supposed to, leave my house unlocked, and even break things in the house. When I followed up, they said they would send their best crew. That single person arrived an hour late, didnt tell us, didnt finish the job, and then left a note from a manager offering sign off that the cleaning was complete and perfect. That note was sitting next to the note saying it wasnt done, despite being in my house for almost three hours. When I called the corporate office, I was told all they could do was email. Its honestly laughable.Find someone else. This service is absolute trash.

My background was largely in Environmental services and I did my due diligence in choosing a cleaning service, but what is presented in brochures and the initial meeting is definitely not what you get.First, the literature and what they say they will do is excellent and IF delivered, would make them a great service. BUT, unfortunately they have been unable to deliver upon their promises even after giving them three opportunities, two face to face meetings with supervisors, and several phone calls to local branch office over a period of three months to correct their problems.They often didn’t dust, never removed floor runners and rarely mopped hard surface floors. Often when questioned about what they were detail cleaning for that service time, they would say they forgot and still didn’t do the expected cleaning.We lost our regular cleaners last November and never had the same cleaners twice since then. We couldn’t even leave our house when they were to come because we were always reorienting new cleaners on our expectations.Sometimes they would come and not have the proper equipment (vacuums or floor sweepers, or even cleaning cloths) and at times left their cleaning supplies behind. Each team was always unclear as to what they were to clean which is specifically spelled out on their system report they are to leave behind when finished cleaning. Often, I reminded them to review their sheet on our house.Their employees, while always polite, were not trained or chose not to do proper cleaning procedures. I pointed out on several occasions areas they didn’t dust, noticeable debris on floors where they didn’t mop, and detailed cleaning they didn’t do at all.Today, they didn’t show up at all nor did they call. I did and the lady (Pat) apologized because she couldn’t even find the office that was handling our account.To me it’s a management oversight problem, people were left to their own version of what cleaning is or should be done which is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.BIG BUSINESSES doesn’t mean they necessarily do things right....just a word of caution when considering their beautifully displayed service brochures....they don’t deliver. This many complaints and low scores tells the story of inefficient training and inability to keep quality employees staffed.

Initially some issues with the first clean but after clarifying our needs and expectations for a deep clean, every subsequent clean has been superb. Definitely recommend them and dont hesitate to be clear and detailed in your expectations!

Google reviews dont lie! I should have listened, but I went ahead and hired them anyhow. They did leave a cleaning brush behind, they did not deep clean anything, there was visible dust/hair on the bathroom floor which was supposed to be deep cleaned. They missed entire surfaces, they dont move things on counter tops when they clean such as pulling the toaster out. There was visible debris in the kitchen sink when they left. Despite arranging all of the pillows neatly on the sofa, there was a hairball on the sofa right by the pillows they just put there! They are the cheapest cleaning company for a reason.

We started out with a “crew” of 3 and things looked really good. Over the last year the “crew” is 2 and times coming are way off. This week they were scheduled Wednesday 2-3. At 4:30 called and said in about 45 min! I said that wouldn’t work so rescheduled Friday 1-2. We left at 1:00, returned at 4:00 to find the “crew” of 1 had just started!! I’m sure she did her best but 1 person cannot do what 3 were doing. The company seems to be slipping on their service!

When we started this service it was over all ok. Unfortunately after some time we realized that several of the cleaning crews didnt even attempt to do some of the cleaning that was promised in the plan we signed up for (blinds wouldnt be touched, cobbwebs in the corners still, etc). We eventually resolved this by requesting we only get cleaning by a particular team that consistently did well. (Thanks Ariel, you and youre team do a great job, this review has absolutely nothing to do with the work you do).The biggest problem, as I alluded to above, is working with the management team to have your requests fulfilled. You cant call your team or the local management. Instead you are always routed to a call center. If you ask they can have the manager call you back, but that may no happen in a timely fashion.Once you log your complaint with the call center, you generally receive an email from management making excuses as to why they couldnt hold up their end of the bargain--generally there is no apology or attempt at understanding the frustration. And even if they promise a solution, it most likely wont last.Our specific issue is in the time of the cleanings. Nearly every week were quoted an arrival time, and nearly every week its missed by hours. This is inconvenient as my girlfriend leaves the house for their cleanings, and when she returns she finds they havent even arrived yet. Furthermore I have requested that the cleaning be finished by 5pm as I have meetings with colleagues in the evening that I need to prepare for. We even changed our cleaning day to accommodate the cleaners schedules. Within 2 weeks they were right back to the same delayed arrival and many times are at our home until nearly 6pm.This wouldnt normally upset me so much, but we have talked to management at least 5 times about this and it continues to not be resolved. Im at my wits end. I like the cleaners we have but cant seem to get the scheduling people to uphold their agreement with me. Im hoping that posting this review helps management realize that they need to take their customer commitments seriously.In all honesty, we should probably fire this company and hire a cleaning company that has more interest in their clients satisfaction. Weve literally paid this company thousands of dollars to have them not take our requests seriously. Maybe theyre better in your area, but if youre in the Madison, WI area, look for someone else first.

I had them service my house house for about 6-7mo before I had to let them go. The cleaning itself was sufficient - there were some initial hiccups where I wasnt clear in my expectations and they had to come back a few times, but we worked it out and my house was cleaner than if I would have done it myself, so it was fine.I did get frustrated with a scheduling issue. They email you the day before to let you know youre on the schedule. So I took my dog to daycare for the day and while she was there, I got an email that they were going to have to reschedule me for a different day. This would not have been an issue had I not already made alternate arrangements for my dog that day. They tried to make it right and offered me a 50% discount, which was fine, but it was pretty inconvenient.The issue that made me need to switch companies was related to the privacy of my credit card information. I had made online payments, and to do so, my card was kept on file. I have text alerts from by bank for each time my card is used and all of a sudden Im seeing attempted charges from them. Mind you, I did have a payment due, but I was not on automatic payments, so each time my card was to be charged, it would be from me manually giving approval. So I see this attempted charge, email and ask why it happened and what protections were in place to prevent it from happening again, and their response was that they attempt to process a payment when there is a balance due and a card on file. After elaborating on how uncomfortable I was with this and ending my business relationship with them, they had the audacity to come back and tell me that I was set up for automatic payments (!). I wasnt, so I recognize they were just covering up their mistake, but all in all, I didnt feel my credit card information was safe with them, so I had to get a new one.All throughout our relationship, each email exchange I had with them ended with someones name at the bottom ... you know, so I would know who I was emailing with because it all comes from a generic account. All of the emails, that is, except those last two. Unless youre going to pay with a check or cash, I wouldnt use them - you cant trust them with your card data.

They came out for a first-time clean, and several of the areas they were scheduled to “deep clean” didn’t even get touched. Things like our range vent hood, the shower tracks, and tub edges all were completely dirty still. I asked them to not come back. Will look elsewhere.

I hate giving bad reviews but we’ve used TCA for over a year and have had to clean AFTER they come over half the time. There’s one cleaning crew (Domingo and another employee) who are great but they’re the only 2 who have thoroughly cleaned.Editing my last post: TCA came back today for a comp clean since the last cleaning was terrible and the dust bunnies/dirty areas STILL haven’t been cleaned!!!!! I legitimately had to email to ask if the cleaners came. We will be discontinuing service.
