The therapists here are incredibly welcoming. The relationship therapist was amazing. Neither I nor my spouse felt that the therapist was aligned with one or the other. We both felt heard and understood rather than judged. We both came out of the sessions understanding more about ourselves and the other person and we left with skills that we use on a daily basis in our relationship.

I have been having a great time coming to see Rachel in the last few months - She creates a very familiar and welcoming atmosphere. This was my first time trying therapy and I was afraid it was going to be very intense as you see in movies. Every time I come see here - Its honestly just like sitting down with a friend and talking. It has been a great experience.

The therapists provide individual and relationship therapy. The therapists I worked with were professional and identified creative solutions.

While I had a positive experience in my first appointment with a therapist, she told me at the very end of my appointment that unfortunately she would be moving locations and could no longer see me at the capital location.I expressed explicitly in my intake phone call and at the beginning appointment that I was unable go to any of the other locations due to transportation barriers as a student, yet the therapist waited until the end of the session to tell me she was moving locations, making me feel cheated and the appointment seem like a waste of timeWestside offered me one other slot that promptly filled up after I was unable to respond due to traveling. They were then unable to see me.

Ive had a great experience so far with the therapist Abby Heuring for my depression and anxiety! She always listens and gives back her own input on the things I have to say. She is very smart and able to guide me into the right direction, I believe. She says I should give myself more credit for helping myself, but if it wasnt for her, there would be no clear path to follow on the things I need to do to help myself. It could of been bad for me if I wasnt able to express myself to someone to get things off my chest. And Westside Psychotherapy was there for me and still is. I can easily see myself doing more in my life now that I am getting help from someone that is so knowledgeable. Things are really looking hopeful. The people there seem to all be friendly and there to help. But take it with a grain of salt because I obviously havent met everyone there. Going to talk to someone every week is great and helps my mental state greatly. I rarely have suicidal thoughts anymore and I get things done. It has been a huge success for me going to therapy. Thank you so much for helping people like me. Im so glad I enjoy it because I wasnt sure about it when I promised someone I would try it. If anyone in charge over there at the Westside Psychotherapy is listening, consider giving Abby Heuring a raise because she is damn good at what she does. lol Cheers
