A and C Distributing is a part of a larger company called Kirby. Kirby has been around for over 100 years and have only sold their product, a home maintenance system, through in home sales. The product is top of the line and that is the only reason Kirby has been successful for so long. A & C is an awesome opportunity to learn what hard work, business and sales is all about.I joined the company and in one month made thousands of dollars. I even won a free maintenance system and dress clothes. Also because I was preparing to go to school I was entered into a contest to receive scholarship money, which I won!A & C is a true opportunity to make real money for real work. If you dont put in the work you wont get anything out of it. They sell an amazing product that when shown right can help a customer out and save them tens of thousands of dollars in the long run. If you are lazy and want life to hand you success, this job wont suit you. If you are willing to work hard and improve many life skills, this is the right place for you.

I just started working for A&C a few weeks ago and couldnt be happier. The training was fun, quick, and easy. You can make your own work schedule to fit whatever your needs are so its nice working at a place where theyre that flexible. I dont dread coming to work in the morning because its fun and the people that work here are all great and so nice. Its a great opportunity to make a lot of money and have fun doing it, and youre hard work is always noticed and recognized by everyone here.

I worked for A & C Distributing and I absolutely loved it. There is great money to be made. The position was entry level and I worked my way up pretty rapidly. ACD, offers great pay and an upbeat work environment. The owners are awesome. They have been in business for more than 15+ years. They are people you can learn something from. We get paid weekly, we also have bonuses and incentives.

This place is not great, went for an interview there and ended up leaving the job before training finished. The first day of training the guy leading it was just talking about his own experience with the company for 4 hours strait, I drove from the west side (with no pay for the training) to learn nothing. Plus they said they would order lunch. They never did. And ordering lunch was their excuse not to pay us for training. Im not sure if they compensate for gas, but I hope they do. I would not work here unless you are dead serious about sales.

Its a scam business. Dodge this bullet like I did. They primp these young new people who come in and apply to be the perfect salesmen by their standards, and coach them to speak a certain scripted way to sell it. but they dont even sell Kirby vacuum cleaners. Look up ACT distributing, because thats what they used to call themselves before they had to sweep their scandals under the rug and change their name. Youll find the information you need about them there. Beware of a CEO who calls himself Mr.T, and a kiss-ass trainer named Garrett. SLIME. I know about them because I applied and went through orientation years ago when I was jobless, desperate, and a bit naive. I would give this place negative zero stars if I could. Bottom Line- stay away from A&C, and spread the word!

Typical day at work would be going into a morning meeting with all your fellow co-workers, talk about the goals of the day and wake you up plus get excited to work (not all of us are morning people, so the morning meetings are very good to get the day started), then you go to the appointments that customers themselves already set up. At each appointment you answer any questions the customers have, explain and show how to actually clean their house and save money in the long run. Ive learned a lot about team work, customer service and pushing myself to want more than just a job. Management is good, they always took care of things when necessary and seem to really care for their workers. I have worked for them for 2 yrs and the starting pay of ($400 to $500 weekly) is above what you would make at most jobs. They also give attendance bonuses and incentives weekly as well, so your check some weeks can be $800 or more after all performance bonuses added.Payday is every Wednesday and I have never had a problem with receiving my pay check every week.Just like with any other job if you don’t go to work, you don’t get paid….bottom line. So for those of you complaining not getting paid its probably because you didn’t go to work and make excuses in your everyday life.OHHH I almost forgot they also do offer 3 all expenses paid vacations per year, provided by the corporation to all of their workers. If you like working full time, want to start making a above minimum wage, plus love having fun daily with your fellow team, then this is the right job/career for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been working at A&C Distributing for 8 years and is a positive atmospheric place to work in. All of my coworkers have fun while at work and the best thing is that my boss is really flexible with everyones schedule.

Pyramid Scheme. Tried to get me and my gf to work for them for commissions and that sales we make also means more bonuses for those above usPyramid schemes are illegal and should be avoided at all costs. Soon as I went to their orientation and heard all the major red flags, I was out. Id be amazed if this company is till being run by the same person back then. Its been a few years so whoever was in charge may be long gone by then.Aside from the possible pyramid scheme, they also use OUR phone numbers in our applications for marketing purposes. Be wary when dealing with them if the guy you meet says hes been with the company for years. Could be the same guy.

STAY AWAY. You do not need this product for $2,300. A Hoover vacuum sweeper for $150 will do the same thing.
