Initially repairing my phone was a simple process, but then the screen on my S7 edge started having issues. Erik was hard to get in contact with via phone or email and was rarely at the shop location during the business hours listed on Google and his storefront. He fixed it once with some really shoddy repair job that ultimately failed. Its still under warranty even. Anyways, I bought a new phone so I wouldnt have to deal with this problem anymore. I just dont want anyone else to deal with his frustrating lack of follow up.

I was quoted $150; the guy working there told me they would have to order the replacement screen from, but it wasnt worth it to him to order it just for me, so he couldnt tell me when he would place the order or when would be ready. I should have known right from that that this place does not put a high value on customer service.Anyway, the guy (Eric?) told me that they would have it as soon as Thursday, but possibly as late as the following Monday. Nothing on Monday either. So much for keeping me updated. After work Monday I went down to the store, thinking it would be done. When I got there I complained to the guy that he hadnt emailed me as promised, and got a halfhearted oh, sorry. He then proceeded to say, oh yeah, let me check on where that part is... meaning it hadnt even come in. He told me if I wasnt satisfied I could just take the phone and then seemed almost shocked when I told him, yes, just give me the phone back. As though he was doing me some kind of favor.These guys wasted almost an entire week of my time for nothing and didnt even apologize, and my phone is still broken, so now I have to go through all of this again somewhere else, although I cant imagine anybody else would be this unprofessional. They might be good at fixing phones (I wouldnt know, since mine is still as broken as when I gave it to them) but they absolutely suck at customer service. Wouldnt take my phone back here if it was the last place on earth.

Took my first phone repair here over 2 year ago, shop was quite messy but the repair its self was good. Just recently broke my phone again so i took it here. The store is owned by a new owner now, Erik. Very nice, i was amazed with how clean the inside of the store was. It looks practically brand new. I was searching around for someplace to repair my tablet. I thought, cool these guys are local. I tried emailing them...no response. I tried again a couple of weeks later...still no response. Was going to get a new phone from us cellular. Decided to give it a try and see what the price would be. Best price in town and service was fantastic. They fixed everything in a very timely manner.

Lets start with the shop itself. The floor is littered with cell phone boxes, paper work and cell phones. The desk is unorganized and there is a clear view into the even more messy office. When I dropped my phone off (Nexus 4) on Saturday the employee told me it would be ready on Tuesday. Went on on Wednesday to pick it up, not done. Wasnt even started. You could tell the employee had totally forgotten about it. He told me it would be done in about an hour.Mind you when I walked into the store to pick it up there was another employee in the office sitting down on his phone, not even making an effort to look like he is working. Came back an hour later and he has gone to lunch. Wont be back for another hour. Worst cell phone repair shop out there. Uninviting store, lazy and unmotivated employees.

About a month ago I had soda spilled on my iPhone, replacing it would have cost me $150 or more. I was so pleased with the extremely quick turn around and reasonable cost ($80). Phone is still working great! Thank you!

The charging port on my iPhone was wet and then plugged in, making for one very sad port. The people at the Apple store said, Theres nothing that can be done. Here, buy a new phone. There were pictures on my phone that I hadnt backed up that had lots of sentimental value (i.e. now dead loved pets). Luckily Willy St Tech referred me here and dude fixed it in less than half an hour for $70. Very highly recommended.

Do not, I repeat, do not, ever use this place! i sent in my windows phone to simply have the screen repaired. when they sent it back, there was a new problem. when i made or received calls my screen would simply go black until the call ended. i returned it to them to have this problem repaired and waited a few weeks with no word. i called and was told they did not know how to fix the problem and they did not know when they would know how to fix it but they had replaced a part for $150 in an attempt to fix the problem which i would need to pay for. i was outraged and refused. a few days later they claimed they now knew how to fix the problem. when i finally received my phone i discovered that what they had really done was disable the sensor so that the screen would NEVER go black. something that is very inconvenient when you are trying to talk to someone and you dont want the slightest touch of your cheek to hang up the call. additionally, my service has been appalling since they returned the phone to me and there is no doubt in my mind that somewhere along the way they damaged the phone in a way that caused this problem. i hope the owners read this review and are deeply ashamed for conning customers and providing overall shoddy service.EDIT:In response to the owner, you should have informed me of the problem rather than trying to pass the phone off as repaired. If you were aware that there would be a problem with the repair you also should have informed me of that rather than make me wait for weeks with no word. Additionally, I NEVER had a problem with dropping calls or voice quality previously, which has nothing to do with the sensor. I also originally informed the worker I spoke with that I believed it was a sensor problem and he assured me it was not. Learn to run a professional business.

I walked at 6 pm in devastated that my iPhone was not working. I had attempted to repair it on my own but failed miserable. One look and he knew what was wrong. He took it into the back and less than 30 minutes later he came out and it was PERFECT! He was understanding and efficient! GREAT PLACE and a GREAT GUY!

My iPhone 4 fell on the floor and the screen had a spiders web of cracks all over it, which made it unreadable. Thought it was a software problem....Turns out it was no where near a software problem. I took my phone in to him Tuesday night and he said he could have it to me Friday, if not Monday. When I cracked my iPhone screen I was so bummed. I didnt get it fix right away because I thought it would cost way too much. I have a Samsung Galaxy S II I dropped and cracked the Gorilla Glass. Yes the Gorilla glass can break! I have insurance on my phone which I would have to pay $100 and send the phone in for 72 hours. I know that Clean Planet has a new Owner and under different management so I decided to take my phone there. The staff was friendly and expedited my claim quickly. When it comes to my phone I want quality and speed. I paid $89 and my screen was fixed the same day. They had my parts in stock!Overall it was a great experience and Im glad some changes were made within. I will recommend this place, especially to all my Iphone users as I know how easy it is to crack the screen!

Fair enough service, but I was frustrated when they closed early when they had my phone.The first time they replaced my screen, it wasnt working correctly, so they agreed to fix it under their warrenty.When I dropped it off, I said I would be back at 6:30; their closing time is 7. But they closed at 6 without a message to me, without a mention on their website, or even updating their answering machine. I drove a half hour to get there, to find a note taped to their door that said they closed at 6.I suppose emergencies happen, and I dont know how regular this occurs, but very frustrating nonetheless.

Even though they were really busy, they managed to get me my Ipod that day. The repair only costed me $60, and I got a really nice case for $10 too.

Clean Planet is THE BEST. My phone broke and I took it to Tech Heros - they fixed it, but it took them way longer than they told me it was going to and it broke again very soon afterwards. I then took it to Clean Planet... when it was being repaired they called to ask if I had taken it to Tech Heros, because the inside of it was soaked with glue. I got sent multiple pictures of the glue inside the phone and was able to get my money back from Tech Heros because the repair they did was so poor. Clean Planet had my phone done in only a few hours which was awesome.Fast forward almost a year, and my phone screen goes dark. I took it to Clean Planet and the wonderful guy there took it apart and fixed it in about a minute and didnt charge me a dime for it.What a seriously AWESOME place. Ill be a forever customer.

A thunderstorm was hitting Madison just as I was out for a run; my phone got water damaged, died, and would not charge. I am very bad with backups so obviously I freaked out. First I went to the genius bar at the Apple Store - complete waste of time; they will do everything NOT to help you (because they want you to buy a new one). Then I went to the competitors down the street. Left it there for the night; came the next day - the extremely rude guy at the reception told me theres nothing to be done. Why will I always go to Clean Planet?1) TJ clearly knows what he is doing; he has been around for years. a true pro. So my dad tried to fix my screen, which resulted in a screen that was cracked AND completely black. I took it to the Apple store and they refused to even look at it, they just said that I would have to buy a new one. On top of that, the VERY unfriendly sales associate at the Apple store said that I would lose all of my data and contacts because I didnt have ICloud backed up. My iPhone 4S screen was replaced at $99 (as opposed to $199 at the Apple store, or $169 insurance deductible). It was fixed in under an hour, working perfectly, with excellent customer service.

Got my screen replaced here and new screen was jittery and moving on its own. Took it back, they replaced the screen again, and now it’s even worse. Charged only 20% less than Apple, which is where I should have taken it in the first place.

They advertised hours today and are not actually there. We waited three hours in Madison to come to their store before leaving town today (Sunday). Very disappointed that they were not open when advertised on website they are.
