A corrupt registry was causing my browser to keep crashing. Miles responded to our request for service quickly, had the problem diagnosed and fixed within a business day (over the weekend) and my computer is back and operating smoothly. I was not overcharged and greatly value the quick effective problem solving.

I needed my laptop battery replaced. I got an accurate quote (final cost ended up being lower) and the replacement was very quick.

When I came to CTRL+shift, my poor liquid-damaged laptop had been examined by two other repair stores, both of which had insisted that the damage was beyond fixing. They would not even try, telling me that it would be a waste of time. CTRL+shift did what those stores said could not be done, taking a laptop that was supposedly beyond fixing and restoring it to full health. Months have passed since the repairs, with no additional issues surfacing. Furthermore, because the repair process took longer and was more complicated than the initial CTRL-shift estimate (bearing in mind that my own estimate had been its impossible), I was given a sizable discount. Throughout the process, I was kept informed to make sure I had the best possible understanding. I highly recommend this service. Five stars.

Love it! My 5 year old motherboard died, and after weeks of tinkering around i finally sort for professional help. Miles found a MB at a price cheaper than me, and he fixed it up like new. Even installed my new SSD to make it faster. Would always recommend.

We were really happy with our tune-up service and fixing of our computer problems. Miles came to our home and helped us fix issues that we didnt realize had been caused by a virus. He spent three hours working through all the fixes and never seemed rushed, despite the extra time he spent with us. We were very happy with the service provided and plan to recommend him to our friends.

Good computer techs are like good car mechanics: you find one, you hold onto them. I went to UWs do-IT for a repair, and they wanted $70 for a simple fix that Ctrl-Shift did for less than half the price. Ctrl-Shift identified a bigger problem I had, and explained to me how to fix it myself if I didnt want to pay them to do it. They know far more than techs at larger operations and provide much more responsive customer service. I cant recommend them highly enough!
