This is a long review so I apologize in advance. At the end of 2019, I had Alberto with KBS, come to my house to give me an estimate for replacing kitchen cabinets and a new counter top. The plan was to get cabinets though Home Depot and have KBS install and do the countertops. We went to KBS to pick out the counter top when Alberto gave us another option, to use their in-house brands. This price was better than Home Depot and we were reassured this would be a better result because they would be able to control all aspects of the project. Because of their being able to schedule everything out the said the project would be no more than 10-14 days total, from demo to finished product. The project was to begin on January 7th. The last piece of the kitchen was just installed on Wednesday May 6th. There were some extenuating circumstances with COVID, I get that, but this should have been finished long before the pandemic slowed things down. Our project was delayed from the beginning. Originally pushed 2 weeks because cabinets were to arrive late and when thy did come, they were significantly damaged. We had to return nearly every upper cabinet, which then had to be reshipped, freight, from the company (Fabuwood) in new York/New Jersey. We arent talking minor damage, we are talking cracked cabinets, doors and significantly chipped and dented paint. I give KBS credit for reordering the damaged pieces they did that, but from this point forward, we had random packages coming, pieces not showing up at all, and any anytime a delivery needed to be made, someone had to be home to take delivery. This necessitated me working from home for at least an extra week, in addition to what I had scheduled for the project. This all could have been avoided had KBS taken delivery and made sure they had everything they needed prior to the project even starting. I understand that some of delivery issues may have been out of their control, but their inability to reorder the correct parts, make sure that they had the right pieces, double and triple check what was ordered and delivered created such a large headache for us that lasted months. We were living in a partially functional kitchen for over 4 months.Mike, the carpenter who was subbed out to do the install of cabinets and finish work, was excellent to work with. He came over many times to install what he could, usually only an hour or two at a time, due to the parts that had been delivered. His finish work was excellent and I really appreciated he and his crews time and effort as I know this project was a pain for them as well.KBS did give us a $500 discount for the trouble we encountered, but I can confidently say we would not go through this again, with or without the discount. I wish we had stuck to our original plan of getting the cabinets elsewhere or gone with a different company completely as we had competing bids when organizing the project to begin with. Beautiful end result, but not worth the headache we faced to get there.

KBS recently finished my basement and it turned out great! Alberto and Elizabeth were awesome to work with. I had gotten quotes from 6 different contractors before choosing KBS. They offered the best materials and finishes and I was able to visit their showroom to pick out the carpet, tiles, shower door, faucets etc. The work was completed on time. I’ve had close family visit me recently and they were all amazed at how good the basement looked. I highly recommend KBS.

So glad we went with KnBS over a “cookie cutter” bath business. Replaced 2 showers and installed new flooring in the main bathroom. Got great, creative advice and very happy with the price for the custom work. Skilled Workers did a great job and were professional, with attention to detail. Alberto was very patient and accommodating with some changes we made. Will use them again, if we have another project. Highly recommended.

We hired Kitchen and Bath Solutions to do a complete gut and remodel of our master bathroom. The renovation included moving a wall, moving plumbing, and moving electrical. We were impressed with the materials available at their show room to choose from. They also allow you to buy your own finishes, which we preferred because you can then shop around for what you want and control costs. We are so pleased with the results and realize we would’ve paid twice as much, if not more, to get this done elsewhere. Their team had great and practical design suggestions and the end result is stunning. They also have a one year warranty on everything just in case something stops working. We have already hired them to do our guest bathroom as well.

Kitchen & Bath LLC are incompetent plumbers, poor project planners, and OK bathroom tilers.Plumbing problems started during the planning phase, when they told me the sink did not need a an overflow, but I didnt think that was right, so I ordered one with an overflow. Thankfully I was correct, since the sink that they sell does have an overflow. I imagine other customers may have had big problems with the overflow after following their bad advice. I had to purchase the bath tub and bath fixtures. We had asbestos glue under the tile and a tub coated with lead, so I had an abatement company due the demo since Kitchen & Bath did not seem to have the expertise to do it. They claimed they could do it, but did not provide any licensing IDs for asbestos and lead removal. These additional costs are not included in the services provided by Kitchen & Bath and reviewed here. On the other hand, I removed the old plastic tub/shower wall cover and installed the mirror and light by myself. After the demo occurred, it was obvious that the plywood floor needed to be replaced. Alberto argued that they could install new plywood on top, but I disagreed. Mold and rot were a big problem, so I wanted it replaced. He delayed the project by 1 week because he was going on vacation and didnt trust his workers to take the floor out correctly without him around. No one from the company arrived at the time they said they would (early the first day, always late after). I work from home, and there was one day where I told them I had an appointment at 10:30, so they needed to show up before 10:30. They arrived at 10:30, when I was walking into the doctors office. When I called the project lead (and owner) Alberto back after my appointment, he was incredibly rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. The tiling install guy was late by a few hours and worked until after 8 pm. I have 2 kids and I could not get them ready for bed while this guy was working. The drywall and paint guy always showed up several hours late and could never arrive at a specified time. One day the guys showed up to work for an hour and then left for the day. The project should have taken 9 days but took two weeks because of these late starts and poorly planned work days. There are several small defects that a good contractor would have fixed or avoided, like scraped paint or chipped cabinet surface. These were minor.Every plumbing fixture leaked after the install was complete: the shower, sink handles, and toilet, in that order. I had my own plumber fix it due to Kitchen & Baths continued incompetence in this area, costing over $250. I am very angry that we decided to remodel the bathroom due to lead and water damage, only to have them improperly install the plumbing, potentially causing water damage.I forgot to get the certificate of insurance before starting the project, and when I asked for it after, they never responded. My insurance agent also asked for it, and they never responded. Now theres a BBB complaint, with still no resolution. I just want the insurance certificate. So if anyone is going to hire them to do anything, only let them do tiling. Hire your own plumber. And if you can, set a daily schedule in the contract.
