Absolutely outstanding quality!!! The owner George definitely knows his craft and customer service is second to none. It is especially difficult to cut Asian hair due to its textual, yet he cut my hair perfectly! The place is very small but very comfortable. If you want an old school haircut look no further in this town.

I was looking for a barber shop to get a standard old-school tapered cut. I vaguely knew of this place because Id walked past it on my way into the Concourse, where my wife and I stayed during our wedding. I just assumed it was expensive and fancy because it was in the Concourse.What I found was a great, classy, old-school barber shop. George was a very skilled mens barber. He also has someone who cuts womens hair. He was very attentive to anything I wanted with my hair and continually touched up the fade even after it was done and he had moved on to other parts of the cut. He used hot foam and a straight razor around the bottom (I wanted it REAL short there) and it was just fantastic. The price was pretty great too. I will definitely be going back here.

Just got a cut from George and I am regretting not finding this guy earlier! I have lived in Madison for a decade (a block away from this shop for 3 years!) and its hard to find a place to get a good, personalized cut, let alone somewhere that people stick around awhile. His trade tools must be of the highest quality because it was fast and I have no stray hairs - precision is something I always have to address at other places. He is a very good conversationalist, instantly understands his clientele, and clearly enjoys and is dedicated to his craft.

I have been going to George for 5+ years. He always does a great job at a great price. He is an old-school mens barber who has no problem breaking out the straight blade around the ears and neck. He remembers his clients and is very appreciative of their business. I have recommended him to many of my male friends.

I have been going to Rofflers for over 30 years now. I began getting my haircut with George when I was a 17 year old punk. At the time I had long hair and George always respected my changing preferences. Way back then he would give me the full treatment for the regular cut price.There were times when I ventured off to save a buck or two, but Id always come back to George for his craftsmanship. If you are looking for a quality haircut, and a conversation to match, you should give George a try.

Excellent! George listens well and with almost 4 decades of experience has the skills to make it happen.Elevators are to the right of the stairs in the hotel lobby. Take it down to level A. Take a right as indicated by the sign. Visit was well worth the 20$, do make an appointment a few days ahead of time though!

George is almost as good of a barber as he is a person. No barber in Madison can compete with his attention to detail, great conversation, and old-style techniques. When I get in that chair I know that he is completely focused on nothing but making sure I get the best haircut possible.

George aways does a great job at a great price ($15 for men). Ive been going to him for over 8 years. Best cuts I ever had. I highly recommend the Roffler.

If youre looking for an actual Experienced, no nonsense barber, youve found the place!This is most definitely not a beauty salon or clips shop that has extremely high turn overs (with a 90% chance of never seeing this less than 5 years experience hair cutter again), so you can leave your fears of a bad experience at the door!Easily the best kept secret of haircuts in the city, you can find George directly in the concourse (Walk into the concourse, take the elevators on the right side down to Level A and look right, and you will see the cozy shop).I will say this in the most simplistic terms -- Ive never had a better hair cut or beard trim (He does trims as well!) in my life. The guy lined up my beard and cut to perfection, and I could not find any fault in anything while there. He trimmed and cut my beard better than I could! Its THAT good.When you get in there, you feel like youve taken a step back into time, not only in the sense of a 40+ year barber veteran (trust me, this is a positive, the guy knows perfection of haircuts well), but in how the place is set up as well. Go in and see what I mean.. I think its cool.George is easy to talk to, and doesnt push product or any other nonsense you would get elsewhere. Simple, no nonsense place to go! Cash only?
