Friendly staff, spacious establishment and great food and drinks. We had the nachos and it was delicious! Great place to watch your favorite teams play. There is also a stage in the back where bands can perform and other celebrations can be held.

Pretty good bar with lots of seating. Selection of alcohol is on par with other bars. They handled our very large group fairly well, but should have had more wait staff working. The lines to get drinks became really long.

The bartender, Nick, was extremely knowledgeable and inventive. He took one of my favorite starter drinks, a Lunchbox, and put a unique twist on it by using a sour beer. It was the best Lunchbox Ive ever had. Good music and plenty of televisions. Fun atmosphere.

Red Zone is our favorite place to hang out on game days as well as when were in the mood for a campus bar experience without all the craziness. The food is amazing! Get the nacho, period! Wings are perfect! Bands at the Annex next door for your music needs. Bottom line, love this place. Staff and owners are the nicest folks youll find around!

Went to see a concert here, parking was a pain bit once I got past that it was a.great place, my bartender that night was fantastic and she knew her drinks. Drew on the other hand didnt know the drinks but was definitely funny. Hats off to this establishment.

Its a good place for a lunch meeting because nobody goes there. We had a meeting there with seven people. Orders came out one at a time with nearly 10 minutes in between. The waitress offered no explanation, and did ultimately apologize, but only to the last person, who got their food a good half hour after the rest of us had finished eating.

Whats not to love about this place?! Its a perfect game day spot as well as lunch or dinner out. Ive always been greeted with a smile by staff, even when theyre really busy. The food always exceeds my expectations, not just your regular bar food. Their music venue is also one of the best in Madison!

Tons of space and TVs to accompany a quality beer selection, both on tap and in bottles and cans. If youre looking to watch sports, the 10 TV feeds here will be hard to beat. Not only your traditional sports, but tons of US and European soccer as well. Good bar-style food that is very reasonably priced. And the breakfast menu is probably the best deal of all. Whatever time of day, always get tater tots with it.

Went for a concert 2 times. Both times were amazing and the stage for concerts is an experience everyone should have

I love this place. I have seen many concerts here. The bouncers and the rest of the staff are pretty friendly. The bouncers are pretty attentive, making sure customers arent getting too intoxicated...not a fan of slobbering drunks. There is additional parking at Budget Bicycle that is rented out to Red Zone for their customers, which is nice, being parking in that area is limited.

The Red Zone is always popular on gamedays. It is a fun time and usually crowded.

Tecmo Madison XIV! The venue felt perfect for the event. Good food, reasonable prices, good location with room to move around so it isnt too packed. It was fantastic!

Great spot before Badger football games!

I was at the annex friday the 13th. This was my second time at that venue and it was great. The security isnt constantly harassing people, while making sure everybody is safe. I cant comment on drink prices, but its a very party like atmosphere which is always a fun time.

My only experience is on badger football game day. This is usually a fun tailgate, decent of the grill food. The band will come through before the game. Usually pretty easy to get a drink. Beer and spirits served.

Food is average. Servers are pleasant. Service is a bit slow. Floors are sticky so yeah....

Good bartenders, food, prices, atmosphere. Also, Zumba on Mondays from 6:30-8 is the best time ever.

Saw struggle jennings. Someone almost got stabbed outside and there was 0 security that even KNEW the cops showers up before it was even brought up

Food was good, but the service was poor.During the mid-afternoon on Sunday 10/23 we walked in and the waitress and bartender just stood there and looked at us. It wasnt busy at all, with just a couple groups of customers watching the NFL games. We werent sure whether to seat ourselves, but neither the waitress or bartender said anything. After a few awkward moments of standing there we asked if we should seat ourselves. Finally one of them spoke up and said sure.The waitress was pleasant when taking our order and serving the beverages and food, but it took a long time for her to come back and we all needed soda refills. It wasnt like she was busy; we could see her on the other end of the restaurant watching the NFL games rather than checking in on her customers.Im giving Red Zone 3 stars in my review, based on averaging the 1 star for poor service and 5 stars for very good food.

Great establishment as far as Bars go, the staff are great people and the security team always makes sure that annoying idiot gets thrown out. Great selection of drinks too.

Hjcedit: I actually reviewed this place from my pocket! Went there on paint nite, it was pretty neat. Bartender was relaxed and friendly, paint guy was pretty entertaining.

Loud obnoxious music, hardly any seating, and terrible selection of beer. Its more of a typical college bar than a sports bar, except a plastic cup of beer cost $8.

Excellent bar staff, good selection of alcohol but not great - they have most of the staples, but nothing fancy. Great location for events.

Its a shame because I as a bar and even a venue I love this place but I cannot support a place the management of which has zero respect for the local music scene and cancels shows on short notice and on several occasions openly complains about us in the music scene, and I refuse to give this place any more business unless management changes their attitude towards local music or changes entirely, and will encourage others to do the same.

Always seems kind of dead. Ive been there twice and the staff is hit or miss. Ive only ever been on weeknights for Paint Nite Events, which they host pretty regularly. The drinks are pretty cheap though.

Sports bar with no tips for the darts? Kinda like an big gas station. Beer from the fridge games old and need of repair.

This place hires the absolute worst security for their events. This is an issue that needs to be addressed. Those adults harass kids and take their belongings. Bunch of power hungry wannabe cops that do so bad at their original jobs that they have to take up a dead end security job. Look into who you hire to secure your facility, it matters.

Food is just okay, not a ton of beers on tap. They have a fairly lengthy bottle/can list but were out of a lot of them. There are lots of TVs to watch football. So if you arent a packer fan, they will still be showing your game.
